Chapter 202: Ring of Arhan’s Second Hidden Option
Carla swung her fist.
*Bam*
The red energy coating her fist shot out causing an explosion.
Carla muttered as she looked at the building shattered by the explosion.
“Good luck getting out!”
She was so tired of guarding the portal that she felt like she was going crazy. But now, those negative emotions flew away.
*Bam* *Bam*
After destroying all the buildings, Carla came out of the village with a happy smile as she saw the corpses of demons lying here and there.
Then she chose a direction and started moving again.
But suddenly she stopped.
“Huh?”
There was a sudden sound and Carla lowered her head with a sad expression. The identity of the sound was the item tied to her waist. It was the sound of cracking beads.
Carla stopped in her place with a surprised expression.
“They broke?”
The beads are given to the captain of the Balrogs and are made by mixing Alcandium and Ivodram. They were so strong that it was nearly impossible to break them. They only broke in one condition.
“Did they?”
And that condition is death. If a member’s life force is connected to a marble, it will break when that member dies.
“Elota.”
She had a total of 4 marbles and the broken one was Elota’s.
“Who killed her?”
In the 10th Demon World, there were not many people who could kill Elota.
“Maybe they were High-Class Demons?”
Maybe she was surrounded by High-Class Demons?
“No, she would have run away.”
But if she could not deal with it, she would have run away.
“Then is it Amiletta? Cranosson, Kyrad or Hertana?”
They are the only demons that she will not be able to run away from.
“This is not the time.”
Carla stopped her train of thoughts, now was not the time for her to think about it.
After dispelling her combat form, she put a hand in the pocket on her waist and pulled out a stone that was used in communication with Dolgen. Then she gave it her energy, but there was no response.
“What is he doing?”
With a frown, Carla retrieved the stone and pulled out the one connected to Tarman. But same as Dolgen, Tarman did not respond.
Carla retrieved the stone in annoyance.
Suddenly.
*Break*
Another marble was destroyed. Carla could not help but be surprised when she saw the destroyed marble.
“Dolgen!”
It was the marble connected to the Dolgen.
Following Elota, Dolgen died as well.
Carla’s expression turned serious, and she started moving to the Temple of the Balrogs. She had to report the situation immediately.

*Break*
Shortly thereafter the marble connected to the Tarman was destroyed as well.
Carla’s expression deepened even more.
_____________
*Swoosh*
Enicom, who was running at great speed came to a halt.
‘Thankfully.’
He was relieved to see the village safe and alright.
Enicom slowly headed towards the village. As long as the village is safe, he doesn’t need to rush.
“Huh! Enicom-sama!”
As he got closer to the village, the intermediate level demon Helon found him and quickly approached while greeting.
“What brought you here?”
“Did anything happen in the village lately?”
Enicom asked Helom.
“Nothing.”
“Hmm.”
At Helom’s answer, Enicom let out a sigh of relief.
O.O”
Helom had a puzzled expression on his face, while Enicom continued.
“What about Chenito?”
“He will be at home. I will guide you right away.”
Enicom was guided by Helom to Chenito’s house.
“Long time no see.”
Chenito found Enicom and jumped up from his seat to greet him.
Enicom naturally sat down on the chair where Chenito was sitting and opened his mouth.
“When was the last time you contacted Hounis?”
“Hounis?”
Chenito thought for a moment and answered the question.
“Three days ago.”
“Three days.”
“Did something happen?”
“Disappeared.”
“Huh”
“The town itself disappeared.”
Chenito’s puzzled expression was replaced with a very astonished one by Enicom’s words.
“I think he was discovered; he isn’t the type that will run away.”
Enicom thought that if he is missing, he is dead and did not run away.
“Call all the demons. The order has come.”
“Okay.”
_______________
[You have entered the Enor Plains.]
‘We have finally arrived.’
Yeon Jeung saw the message and told Soo Hyuk.
“Soo Hyuk, we have arrived. Check the map.”
“Uh, wait.”
Soo Hyuk stopped reading for a moment and then opened his inventory to retrieve the map.
“Since we are here now, I think we just have to go around like this.”
“Okay!”
After checking the terrain of Enor Plains on the map, Yeon Jeung drove the wagon.
Soo Hyuk then put the map back in his inventory and focused on the book.
‘How long will it take?’
Yeon Jeung thought while driving the wagon.
The Enor plain was not that wide. If there was a village, it would be easy to find.
Just when he was thinking so.
‘Found it!’
He could see buildings in the distance.
It was evident that it was ‘Evora’.
“Soo Hyuk.”
Yeon Jeung called Soo Hyuk once again.
“Huh?”
Soo Hyuk, who was concentrating on the book, answered. Yeon Jeung raised his finger and pointed forward.

Soo Hyuk followed his finger. Then he silently closed the book and put it back in his inventory.
“Are we going to breakthrough straight-forwardly?”
Yeon Jeung asked Soo Hyuk.
“Yeah, I don’t think there’s any need for anything else.”
He felt it while destroying the village of spies’ yesterday, the demons in the village were at most in the late intermediate level. Which is not a threat to Soo Hyuk. Therefore, there was no need to go back and devise a place.
“Okay!”
Yeon Jeung replied to Soo Hyuk’s words and drove the wagon.
Naturally, the destination was the entrance of the village ‘Evora’. Soon after, Soo Hyuk and Yeon Jeung were able to arrive at the entrance.
“It is so quiet.”
Yeon Jeung said in a quiet voice. Isn’t this supposed to be the entrance?
Not a single demon was visible. There was no one walking around. It was like a ghost town.
Of course, it is not like there are no creatures there, the ‘Children of Darkness’ were moving around.
“Are they all in one place?”
Soo Hyuk said as he got off the carriage. The ‘Children of Darkness’ did not move separately. They were all moving to one place.
When the ‘Children of Darkness’ almost reached the building, a door opened, and demons came out from inside.
They were two in number but seeing how the ‘Children of Darkness’ moved there will be a lot more in the house.
This chapter is scrapped from readlightnovel.org
“Hellfire.”
Soo Hyuk cast Hellfire.
*Bang*
As soon as Hellfire appeared, it devoured the two demons and the house that they came out of.
And messages appeared.
[Level Up!]
[The village ‘Evora’ has been cleaned up.]
It was a cleanup message.
‘O.O’
As soon as he saw the message, Soo Hyuk was suspicious.
‘Did they all really gather around?’
He said that they were all in one place but that was just an assumption. He really did not think that they would be gathered in one place.
Soo Hyuk opened the quest window.
In the secret order, the approximate locations of the villages inhabited by the spies of the Kyrad faction were written.
Before the war, Amiletta plans to clean them up.
Amiletta wants you to secretly clear them all.
Take care of the spies and meet Amiletta!
[Suspicious Village ‘Evora’: 0]
[Suspicious Village ‘Onikat’: X]
[ The broken village ‘Olenium’: X]
Quest reward: ???
Evora, which was X, was changed to 0.
‘I only need to kill the demons.’
He was going to destroy the buildings, but he did not have to.
“Wow, everyone really gathered there?”
The quest’s clear notification did not just appear for
Soo Hyuk, Yeon Jeung received it as well.
“It seems to be.”
Soo Hyuk answered Yeon Jeung and closed the quest window.
Then he got into the passenger seat, opened his inventory, and took out the map and note.
“This time it’s a meadow.”
The next destination was the village of Onikat. It is located somewhere in Togal Meadow.
“Shall we go ahead?”
“Yeah.”
After Soo Hyuk told Yeon Jeung the route they left the village and immediately headed to Togal Meadow.
After the map and note back in the inventory, he retrieved Aaron’s Diary.
‘Now only 2 more times!’
He just had to read it two more times. It will not take even 10 minutes.
Soo Hyuk checked the drop window before reading Aaron’s Diary.
-Obtained 1 High-Class Demon Soulstone
-Obtained 12 Intermediate demons Soulstones
‘Huh?’
After checking the drop window, Soo Hyuk tilted his head.
‘High-Class?’
He thought that there would be only intermediate level demon’s soul stones.
‘You mean even High-Class Demons have infiltrated?’
That was not the only thing.
‘Hellfire killed a High-Class Demon in one shot.’
He did not even know there were High-Class Demons. It looks like he would not have to worry about them anymore.
Soo Hyuk confirmed the drops and immediately started reading Aaron’s Diary.
‘Done.’
As expected, within 10 minutes Soo Hyuk read the book two times and opened the quest window.
The Ring of Arhan has a hidden option. Complete the conditions below to unlock the hidden option of the Ring of Arhan!
[Read Books: 300/300]
Quest Reward: Open the second option of the Ring of Arhan.
You must complete the quest ‘Ring of Arhan 1’ to proceed.
‘Finally.’
While watching the quest ‘Ring of Arhan 2’, Soo Hyuk pressed the complete button with a proud expression.
[You have completed the quest ‘Ring of Arhan 2’.]
[The second option of the Ring of Arhan opens.]
A message appeared, and Soo Hyuk opened the equipment window to check the Ring of Arhan’s options.
Limit: Wisdom 3000
You can talk to all races.
Can read all languages.
A ring made by Aylonia, the earth mage, at the request of her university student, Arhan. Two spells are engraved on the ring.
After confirming the second option, Soo Hyuk stiffened in astonishment.
‘All languages?’
The corners of his lips rose as he looked at the second hidden option.
The second option of Arhan’s Ring was of enormous value to Soo Hyuk.
Soo Hyuk was unable to use skill books due to the nature of his job. Therefore, he could not even use the language skill books. Which made it a dilemma in how he can learn new languages.
Fortunately, it is now resolved.
Now he can read books written in any language.
‘Every language!’
Same as the first option, the word ‘all’ was written.
That means not only demon language but also any language in Pangea like Orcs, Dwarves, Elves, etc.
It meant he could read all the books.
The corners of Soo Hyuk’s mouth almost caught his ear as he checked the item he received from Amiletta.
