Chapter 105
Translator: Juzu
Editor: Sotheno
Fortunately, the second secret hideout was also located on the outskirts as the first secret hideout. Therefore, Soo Hyuk arrived at the destination in a couple of steps.
“Is this it?”
Upon arriving, Soo Hyuk scanned the surroundings to confirm he came to the correct place. After confirming, he put the map back into the inventory and knocked on the door.
Knock, Knock.
Despite his knocking, there was no movement behind the doors.
‘Has this place been discovered too?”
Soo Hyuk stretched out his arm to grab the knob, and once he did, he tried to open the door.
‘It’s not opening.’
Different from the first secret hideout, the door here didn’t open. It was closed shut, so Soo Hyuk let go of the knob and continued to knock on the door.
Knock Knock
“Romian? Are you there?”
Soo Hyuk decided to call for him instead of just knocking. That may have done the job because footsteps could be heard.
Soon later, the door slowly creaked open.
“Soo Hyuk….”
Romian opened the door and called Soo Hyuk’s name with a look of surprise, embarrassment, and bitterness.
[You have completed the quest ‘Another Secret place of Romian’]
The quest completion message popped up as soon as Romian called Soo Hyuk’s name.
Seeing that the quest reward ‘Kidnapped Haccid’ hasn’t begun, Soo Hyuk thought there might be something he must receive from Romian.
“Come in for now.”
Taking a glimpse outside one last time, Romian guided Soo Hyuk inside. Following Romian, Soo Hyuk sat on the other side of the table and asked,
“What happened?”
“Sigh….”
Romian made a deep sigh in response to Soo Hyuk’s question, and continued his answer,
“It seems that the hideout has been discovered, and Haccid has been kidnapped.”
Soo Hyuk knew this information through the quest information.
It seemed that Romian knew nothing more than that.
‘I might even know more than him.’
There was a high chance that Soo Hyuk had more detailed information on the matter than Romian.
“I’m ready for the exploration, but…”
Romian’s voice faded at the end of his words and made an apologetic expression. Soo Hyuk could feel that it was the time to receive the quest.
“Soo Hyuk, I’m sorry, but may you do me a favor?”
Soo Hyuk’s feelings were correct.
“What is it?”

“Can you save Haccid?”
〈Abducted Haccid〉
Romian confirmed Haccid’s abduction. Bring Haccid to Romian!
Quest Rewards: Quest – Cave exploration
A quest was generated as soon as Romian finished speaking.
‘I knew it was going to be a rescue quest.’ Soo Hyuk thought as he was looking at the quest. Soo Hyuk thought it may have been different from the quest
“Kidnapped Haccid”, but it was more or less the same.
“Okay.”
[You have accepted the quest “Abducted Haccid”]
After accepting the quest, Soo Hyuk stood up and turned around to leave.
He already knew where Haccid was.
“I’ll be back then.”
It was at that moment, Romian’s apologetic expressions completely disappeared and made a face of an odd mix of emotions while gazing at Hyun Seok, who was leaving.
Soo Hyuk obviously couldn’t see that as he walked out of the house.
“First of all…”
Soo Hyuk opened his inventory and took out the map that showed the location where Haccid was imprisoned.
‘Why aren’t there any reports?’
Ross, who was in the mansion, frowned.
‘The time for the report to come has passed already.’
The report from the red wolves that came periodically stopped coming. With the thought that something might have happened, Ross called for Carten.
“Carten.”
Simultaneous with the call, Carten appeared from thin air.
“The reports stopped arriving. I think something has happened to them.”
“Should I check?”
“Yes.”
“Roger.”
Carten then disappeared just like he appeared.
After Carten was gone, Ross sunk into his seat and thought,
‘I wonder what happened.’
While Ross was thinking, he noticed some footsteps approaching and looked towards the door.
The sound of a door opening near Ross’s room opening could be heard.
“…”
Ross was surprised and thought,
‘Who is that?’
The red wolves were all sent out, and the only people that were in this mansion was three people getting information out of the prisoners and Ross. The problem was the rooms for the other three people were nowhere near Ross’s room.
The mansion was large, and there were many rooms. Ross emptied the entire third floor, the floor he was residing. Therefore, there was no reason for a door to be opened on this floor.
The sound of footsteps appeared again.
Ross stood up from his seat and picked up the long sword placed next to him.

‘Who is it?’
Ross stared at the door while holding on to the long sword.
The footsteps were getting closer. He would soon be able to identify the owner of the footsteps.
The sound stopped in front of Ross’s door.
The door slowly opened. Ross clenched his sword and prepared himself for an attack.
The door opened completely, and the owner of the footsteps was standing in front of Ross.
The person was neither from the red wolves nor the three other people. It was a male he has never seen before.
While looking at the map, Soo Hyun arrived at his destination and stood in front of a large mansion.

‘I’m pretty sure I can just go in.’
He came to mess things up, and there were no guards anyway.
Soo Hyuk placed the map back into the inventory and entered the mansion.
‘Why is no one here?’
Soo Hyuk was surprised at the emptiness of the mansion.
‘Were the guys I killed last time all of them?’
Soo Hyuk killed the red wolves, so he thought the reason the mansion was empty was because of that.
‘Let’s look for Haccid first.’
Soo Hyuk continued to explore the mansion. He’d figure out whether there were any more red wolves during his search. He came for Haccid, not the red wolves.
*Opens door* ‘Nope.’
*Opens door* ‘Not here.’
Soo Hyuk searched the first floor and found signs that people lived here, but didn’t bump into anyone.
‘I guess he’s not on the first floor.’
Soo Hyuk checked every room on the first floor, but couldn’t find Haccid.
‘Now, let’s try the second floor.’
He went up the staircase and opened every door once again.
‘He’s not on the second floor either.’
The second floor also had signs of people living here, but not a single ant could be seen.
‘Then is he on the third floor?’ Soo Hyuk thought as he was standing in front of the stairs that headed to the third floor.
There were three floors in total, so there was only one more floor to check.
After checking a few doors, Soo Hyuk saw a large door at the end of the hallway.
‘Ohh. It feels like there’s going to be something in there.’
That door was the largest and fanciest door he’s seen in the mansion. He had a hunch that something was going to be in that room.
He made his way to the big door while checking the other rooms along the way.
‘There’s not a single trace here.’
The rooms on the third floor had no trace of people living inside of them. They were all clean and untouched.
Once Soo Hyuk reached the large door, he paused and thought, ‘Will there be something in here or will it be empty as the other rooms?’
He opened the door slowly and flinched at the sight of what was inside of the room.
A man was staring at him with a longsword in his hand.
“Who the heck are you?”
The man asked Soo-hyuk, pointing the sword at him. Soo Hyuk replied,
“I’m looking for a guy called Haccid…”
He didn’t actually reply to the man’s question. Instead, he stated the reason he came.
‘Is there a secret room somewhere?’
While replying to the question, Soo Hyuk scanned the room, but there were no signs of Haccid.
Soo Hyuk knew that Haccid had to be somewhere in the mansion, but he couldn’t find Haccid, so he naturally thought there was a secret room.
The man was surprised at Soo Hyuk’s reply. Although he didn’t answer his question, the keyword “Haccid” was more than enough as an answer.
“Are you related to why the red wolves didn’t report anything?” The man asked with a stiff face.
‘He must be the head.’
The man was in a position to receive reports from the rest, so he was most likely the head of the red wolves.
“I was hoping you would tell me where he is.”
Soo Hyuk didn’t answer the man’s question once again.
The man, Ross, slightly frowned. This was due to Soo Hyuk not answering his question again and the fact that he realized the red wolves encountered trouble. ‘Out of all times, it had to be now.’ Ross thought while staring at Soo Hyuk.
‘He just left, so it would take him about an hour to return.’
The situation did not look good. Carten just left, and it would take around an hour for him to return.
“What are you planning to do if you find Haccid,” Ross asked.
“If I find him?” Soo Hyuk paused and continued,
“Of course, I’ll leave with him.”
The quest “Kidnapped Haccid” only required to rescue Haccid from the mansion. He was planning to leave as soon as he found him, and then to complete the
“Abducted Haccid” quest, he had to take Haccid to Romian.
“Alright…”
Ross nodded and said, “I’ll take you to him.”
