The next morning, after an early breakfast, we dropped our house key off at the Merchant’s Guild before setting leaving Verulean.
Oh, just for everyone’s information, we had Soboro for breakfast. The rice bowl is topped with chopped lettuce, Soboro-style minced meat and soft-boiled eggs.
Everyone ate a lot, even more than usual since we’re going on a long journey soon. However, I made sure to eat less so that I don’t get sick on the way. [6] I don’t think Fer would appreciate me throwing up on him.
Since we’ve already said our goodbyes to Marks-san yesterday, we could leave right after dropping off the key.
I am really glad I made the decision to eat less breakfast today because Fer is going, really, really fast. Perhaps he’s too excited about diving into the dungeons?
Since our party has really fierce members, not a single monster dared to get in our way. Which meant we reached the next city in record time.
Dora-chan took this opportunity to reminisce, “Ah, this reminds me of that Troll last time. Those things look big and tough, but their heads are stuffed with grass!” [5]
That’s right, we encountered one major enemy on our way to Verulean. [5] [6] Well, I said one major enemy, but it only stuck out in my head because of the quarrel Fer and Dora-chan got into later that made me remember it. I had to coax a sulking Fer later.
I had kind of forgotten most of the monsters we encountered. They mostly ended up being sources of meat or money to me except… I try not to think of those monsters which could never be taken out of the [Item Box]…

Speaking of which, I should try and do some trading since I’m still half a Merchant. That’s right, let’s go visit Avering’s Merchant’s Guild too. I want to do something normal while I’m there.
The whole trip was relatively smooth. [1] The only exciting thing that happened was Fer leaping over some caravans moving in the same direction as us.
About five days later, we saw the high walls surrounding Avering City.
“So, that’s the dungeon city, eh?”
“As expected of a dungeon city, it’s rather lively, na.”
The line of people waiting to enter the city is quite long. Similar to Doran. Looks like dungeon cities will always be popular with both merchants and Adventurers.
“We may have to line up for a long time, so let’s go now,”
“Umu,”

“Phew, we’re finally in.”
It took us nearly an hour of queuing before we finally reach the city gates.
Sui’s fine because she naps in her bag, but I had a hard time trying to convince Fer and Dora-chan not to climb over the walls. [TZ1]
“It’s a stupid waste of time. Isn’t it so much easier to just go over the walls?”
“Yeah! I can just fly over that thing!” [5]
“Yes, yes, getting in would be quick. But what if we get into trouble later? What if they don’t allow us into the dungeon because we broke the rules?” Trespassing or forcible entry into a city is a crime and the punishments are quite harsh.
“Umu, well, I did not jump over the walls because of that. It would be a pity to miss the dungeon because of human pettiness.”
“That’s right, that’s right, we’ve come all the way here just for the dungeon. So don’t screw it up now.”

It was tedious to stand in line, but it was finally our turn. Our entry was very smooth. [2] The magic of a golden guild card was quite strong. Nobody even questions Fer or Dora-chan’s presence.
Well, when they saw the ‘S’ on the golden VIP card, Fer and Dora-chan did not get a second look, but I did. I got a second look and even a third look. [1] Sorry if this skinny looking guy doesn’t look like an S Ranker Adventurer, but it’s true.
Anyway, I thought it was kind of rude for them to stare longer than 20 seconds.
At any rate, we got in.
The first thing I did was find out the location of the Adventurer’s Guild. Let’s see, left from the gate and go on until I see a large building. [5]

Naturally, as the dungeon city guild, Avering’s Adventurer’s Guild was huge. [2] In fact, it might even be bigger than Doran’s. The building looked pretty new too.
I entered with my familiars and showed the receptionist my Golden S Class VIP card and sure enough, the receptionist stood up with a ‘please excuse me’ and hurried off.
She soon came back with someone…
“Ou! So you’re Mukouda-san? I’ve heard a lot about you from Marks. I’m Nadia, the Guild Master of Avering’s Adventurer’s Guild. It’s a pleasure to meet you.”
I stood there in a trance. The woman before me appeared to be in her 30s with long wavy red hair. She looked very robust and tall. [1] When I say tall I mean hugely tall!
She has to be about 2 meters tall!
A 2-meter-tall beautiful woman sure packs a huge impact.
“Gahahaha! I bet you’re surprised at my size. Guys who meet me for the first time always react like that. If I leave you like this, you’ll probably be standing there in a daze for a long time.”
Pushyuuu….
I felt something deflated. It was probably my ego, possibly my pride…
It’s kind of painful…
“Anyway, we have lots to talk about so come here!”
I was literally dragged away by Nadia-san into the Guild Master’s room. I look pitifully at Fer and Dora-chan who followed us with a bored look on their faces.
Fer, Dora-chan, I can count on you to protect me, right?
Right?
[TZ1: It would have been quite easier, right? :D]
[Gumihou: True, also, I don’t think they’d get into too much trouble either. S Class Whatever is known to be wild and crazy, lol]

Heart of the World (LitRPG)
This is the story of how I stabbed a bear. Well... technically speaking, that became the moment my life went into a vastly different direction, all on my way to 'The Mission'. The one I had been given alongside two other seasoned players. To help people in a world with a world. But, oh hoh, that bear... Don't get me started on that. So, apart from that, here is the gist of the other part. I'm a year long employee. Though, several years before I became an employee of theirs, this crazy ensuing madness of a Full Dive battle royale between even more companies started to boil over to a breaking point. Mine thought to search for something that would truly blow the competition out of the water. Well, they found it. Deep under the sea actually. They called it a game changer. Rumors abounded of course. But the most common knowledge became that it was a power source unlike the world had ever seen. However, I can tell you now, the unknown sometimes bump back. Especially when experimenting on highly unknown elements. Still, years safely went by and thus I became a developer there. Now, what does any of this got to do with stabbing a bear? Well, ask them that! They started it all. I'm new remember! Though, chaos ensued, and well, I was there. It probably helped that I had proven myself a good fighter in game and that I had some knowledge that could help with the triplets. Oh, but my sister would box my ears if she ever realized how little time I spent learning what the other developers created in the game before I had to go in there on, 'The Mission.' So, this is a story of a mission to save the people in Realm of Ancients. Not those rookies! Oh no, that was just a precurser. AND THERE WAS THE BEAR! Sorry, I had trouble getting over it. But that specific moment changed things. -- -- Hi! This is a project I have started for the fun. This is not your typical comedy. Yes, I added quite a bit humour to the story, BUT as things go into the eye of the storm the character will face challenges that hits him down. So it is not comedy in every chapter. But what do they say, when you've hit bottom, only way to go is up! :D I am always open to suggestions that might take the story to new heights, so you all are welcome to discuss the story in the comments. Just remember the all important SPOILER tags. ;) -Omri - I'd truly appreciate if you rate the story and leave reviews as we go. ;)

On the eve of his discharge from the army, a soldier, Seth, and the rest of his team get roped into a suicide mission by their General. Armed with runescrived weapons, armors, and items, they're sent to investigate the ruined temple of a fallen god. Author's aside here: I am writing this mostly to improve my writing and storytelling skills. During the course of developing and writing the first volume of this project, I've learned a lot, but I've also come to realize I have so much more to learn. I appreciate any and all suggestions, comments, corrections, and observations if they are, of course, reasonable. I hope you genuinely enjoy the story.
