Suddenly, an image floated above the statue with an unclear face, but one could sense the aura from within. It was vast and unstoppable.

The aura slowly disappeared and the statue returned back to its original calmness.

Xue Zhong climbed up from his stunned state and knelt down in front of the statue. Along with the villagers, he prayed sincerely.

He believed what the chief said; all of this was real.

They had been saved by the chief and learned that he was really strong. They treated him like a hermit expert but he told them that everything he had was given to him by the god. They didn’t believe him then and just faked that they did.

What the chief said from the start was true. He didn’t lie to them and it was just that they themselves didn’t believe it.
