Chapter 469: You Are Just Too Arrogant
Lin Fan’s words were really arrogant and he didn’t hold him in any regard at all.
Even if he was in Heaven Covering Demon Sect’s territory, he continued to act with total disregard of the law.
A wave of rage points reached him.
However, some disciples gloated seeing Young Master being taught a lesson.
But when Lin Fan said such words, they felt that he was going too far.
They were all Heaven Covering Demon Sect disciples. They supported Lin Fan insulting the Young Master, but why did he have to drag them down? So, when the elders appeared, their expressions were all filled with rage.
They were all from an evil sect, so they themselves were arrogant people. If they were slightly stronger, they didn’t respect anyone else.
Some of them clenched their fingers and they were thinking about how to teach Lin Fan a lesson to open up his eyes. They wanted him to see some blood and then learn what words could be said and what couldn’t.
The elders who walked out were all top experts from Heaven Covering Demon Sect. One of them looked towards Young Master and said solemnly, “Young Master, are you okay?”
Although he was an elder and the Young Master was just a disciple.
In terms of status, no one in the sect apart from the sect leader could compare to him.
Young Master didn’t want to say anything.
He didn’t even want to reply to that.
He felt so bad.
Everything that had happened felt like a dream to Young Master.
But his silence sent a bad message to the elder; it was like he had suffered terrifying torture which resulted in him giving up.
Logically speaking, such a thing shouldn’t have happened.
After all, the Young Master had people protecting him and he wasn’t weak either. But it could only be concluded from the current situation that Old Shadow had been suppressed by this person.
“I am Heaven Covering Demon Sect Elder Black Prison. Who are you?” Black Prison asked Lin Fan about his background once again.
Suddenly, an old man beside Black Prison said, “Senior Brother, do you feel that this person is quite familiar?”
“Eh?”
Black Prison frowned.
He looked closely and he was shocked. The face he was looking at instantly merged with a portrait.
Instantly, he was astonished, “You are Lin Wanyi’s son Lin Fan. Who knew that you would actually jump into a trap?”
He recognized him, he really did.
The Alliance wanted to capture Lin Fan and wanted to use the four alliances but because it was too shocking, the four alliances didn’t believe it. But what happened next told them that Lin Wanyi’s son was terrifyingly strong.
He couldn’t be left alive.
He had to be killed.
Lin Fan smiled, “I really didn’t expect that you would be able to recognize me.”
When he said those words, he felt really proud. It was like he wanted others to know that his reputation was already so huge.

Actually, Lin Fan’s reputation in the Evil Alliance was poor.
Evil Spirit Old Ancestor had been conned by him once and the Evil Alliance and Celestial Alliance war had also been started because of him.
To the Heaven Covering Demon Sect people, he was just asking to get caught.
Black Prison said, “Young Master Lin is really bold, you actually dare to come to Heaven Covering Demon Sect alone. My sect’s Young Master is indeed in your hands and you do have chips for negotiation. What do you want?”
Pata!
Lin Fan kicked the Young Master and said calmly, “I don’t really care, I was just free and wanted to come take a look. But to me, your Heaven Covering Demon Sect isn’t much. These disciples surrounded me for so long but no one dared to attack. How disappointing.”
Young Master really wanted to curse him.
Damn.
Who did he offend? Why did he have to kick him? Didn’t he know that his position in the sect was really high?
To the Heaven Covering Demon Sect disciples, they saw their Young Master being kicked like trash and they actually didn’t know what to say.
“Kid, you are asking for death.” Black Prison’s gaze turned cold. Young Master was Heaven Covering Demon Sect’s face and for him to be treated like that was the same as their sect being slapped.
From start til now, Lin Fan maintained his calm demeanour.
Even against an Evil Alliance top sect, he didn’t feel nervous at all.
He silently sensed everything.
He was surrounded by all of their rage.
The disciples were all furious. Maybe because his mocking reached their hearts and harmed their pride, they could only use rage to describe their true feelings.
“I don’t know whether or not I am asking for death but I can tell you that I really came here to find trouble.” Lin Fan said. He had zero good feelings towards the top sects or rather it had reached a negative amount.
The disciples looked at him in rage.
At the same time, they were all really shocked.
They had never seen such an arrogant person.
No one had ever dared to come to Heaven Covering Demon Sect to cause trouble. Such a thing had never been heard of at all.
“Kid, you are too arrogant. I am going to teach you a lesson.” An old man beside Black Prison couldn’t take it anymore and attacked. The surrounding space shook and a shocking power exploded, forming a black serpent. The black serpent opened its bloody mouth and it was obvious that he wanted to swallow Lin Fan.
This old man wasn’t weak and his status in the sect was really high.
With just a raise of his hand, he was able to show his strength.
Black Prison didn’t stop him and he wanted to see how strong this kid was.
But at that moment, there was a loud explosion.

A shocking explosion resounded through the sky. A loud, thunder-like sound reverberated through their ears. It caused the hearts of many disciples to tremble and buzz.
Shock appeared on all their faces.
It was just too terrifying.
They didn’t expect that the Young Master being held hostage would be so terrifying.
Shortly after, they saw something that they didn’t dare to imagine in their entire life.
“What?”
They looked at such scenes with their eyes opened and mouths agape. The elder who attacked was kneeling on the ground with one hand supporting his body. With the other hand, he covered his chest and coughed intensely. With each cough would large amounts of blood were spat out.
All the disciples didn’t believe that this would be the outcome.
The elder actually lost…
In less than a blink of an eye, such a thing had happened. This was just too terrifying.
Black Prison’s expression slowly changed.
He had seen everything that happened.
He didn’t expect this kid to be even more terrifying than the rumors had it. Didn’t they see that he was at Dao Realm Stage Two?
But looking at the situation, it wasn’t just that.
One foot and it landed on Junior Brother’s body.
Although the kick seemed simple, it contained terrifying strength. If it landed on the ground, Heaven Covering Demon Sect might have collapsed.
“That kick was still so-so.”
Lin Fan tapped his pants and was really calm like this was all just really simple.
Too much!
Lin Fan’s casual description totally infuriated Heaven Covering Demon Sect’s disciples.
A large number of rage points surged towards him.
This felt fantastic to Lin Fan.
He knew that coming to a top sect to cause trouble felt the best.
Now that he was at stage three and he had 90 Dao Patterns, as long as he continued to work hard and accumulate rage points to increase Dao Patterns, then his cultivation would naturally continue to soar. If he reached stage four, wouldn’t he just easily beat up everyone else?
The elder who Lin Fan kicked to the ground raised his head. His eyes were bloodstained and he really wanted to swallow Lin Fan up.
The elder who was standing couldn’t take it, “What an arrogant kid, it is my turn.”
This rash elder was stopped by Black Prison, “Don’t be rash, you aren’t his opponent.”
His words were a little humiliating.
Although he was the Senior Brother, he couldn’t say that… He was a Dao Realm Stage Five expert, so how could he not be his opponent? Junior Brother was just half a foot into stage five and could be considered stage four, so it was understandable that he was not strong enough. But he was already so strong, so how could he not be his match?
But there was nothing he could do.
Black Prison was his senior brother, so he could only retreat unwilling.
Black Prison was shocked. If not for junior brother being suppressed with just one move, he wouldn’t dare to believe that Lin Fan would be so terrifyingly strong.
“As expected from Lin Wanyi’s son, your cultivation is really shocking. In the past, I was wondering how Lin Wanyi improved so quickly, but now it seems like you are even more talented. But unfortunately, you shouldn’t have come here to cause trouble and you shouldn’t have attacked our Young Master.”
Black Prison’s voice was really calm and he wasn’t as angry as before. His idea was the same as what the Alliance thought.
This kid couldn’t be left alive.
If he was alive, it would be a problem for all of them.
Lin Fan smiled. It felt good to be praised but he really wanted to tell him that he was wrong.
He just wanted to laugh.
What talent.
His cultivation was from stats.
Since he said that, then Lin Fan didn’t say much more. Who cared what he thought? He would just agree with him.
Lin Fan waved his hand, “Stop saying such nonsense. If you want to fight, then quickly do so. I think that your Heaven Covering Demon Sect is just so-so. You are all just cowards. Since I came here, I’m still perfectly fine and I didn’t lose an arm or a leg. Truthfully, I am disappointed in all of you.”
Damn!
The disciples all couldn’t help it; they really wanted to curse.
This kid was just too arrogant.
He was just lawless. They really couldn’t take it anymore, they really couldn’t.
Truthfully, they felt proud to stay in Heaven Covering Demon Sect. Now that someone was constantly slapping their faces, they obviously couldn’t suppress their rage.
This was just too out of hand.
They only had one thought in their hearts which was that elder Black Prison could teach this arrogant kid a lesson. It was best that he died on the spot and they could use his head as a football.
Black Prison was expressionless but the creases on his face started to shake. It was obvious that Lin Fan’s words had angered him too.
He had seen many arrogant people but he had never seen one at such a level.
“Great, it is normal for one to be young and rash, but today, I will see how much ability you have.” Black Prison said coldly and then did a hand sign to invite Lin Fan to another place to fight.
After all, their cultivations were really strong.
If they fought, it would affect a large region.
But Lin Fan was stunned by his actions.
What is he saying?
Who cared?
Maybe he wanted to start the fight.
Honglong!
Lin Fan’s aura exploded and he didn’t try to hide anything. His power spread out like waves.
“Fight!” Lin Fan hollered.
Elder Black Prison was stunned.

School-life & Swordfights: A Clubs and Stubs Tale
Warning: Clubs and Stubs contains strong language and situations throughout that may not be suitable for younger readers. "This story takes place in a fantasy world with a modernish setting. It mainly follows four students of Hardires High School who are members of one of the greatest Team Arena Squads in the history of gladiatorial school athletics. Already two-time high-school world champions, they have entered their fourth and final year of high school in hopes of capturing a third straight world championship—something that no other school on the continent has accomplished. As they prepare for an upcoming match with a rival school, it becomes evident that keeping their two-and-a-half-year winning streak alive will be tougher than expected. As both personal and external problems abound for the student-gladiators, can they manage to keep it together under the constant pressure of being the perfect fighting unit? A blend of action, drama, adventure, and humor collide in this brand-new series!" Thanks so much for checking out my story! This is the first time that I've released any of my work to a public space so any feedback, be it positive or negative (but please be respectful if so) would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping that this story is only the beginning of a long-running series of short stories set in the Clubs and Stubs universe. Temporary Book Cover Design by David Watson The release schedule is rather tentative, but the goal is to release a chapter every 2-4 days. I want to make sure that every scene is the best it can be before it’s released, so it may take a bit longer especially if it's a longer chapter. However, no chapter should take more than a week to be released. Each scene varies in length, but are usually between 1,000 to 2,000 words.

Ocean Attuned - A timeloop LitRPG
In the mids of industrialization, Liana, a girl of almost twelve, awakens her flow and follows her newly awakened calling, the ocean, and thus the path of the last remaining god. With the advent of industry, one's status and the accompanying skills slowly grow to be secondary as people choose more recreational skills and classes. The clear exception are flow bringers. Humans with an increased affinity towards flow and attunements are the only real remnants of the age of gods and mysticism. Terrors on the battlefield, saints in hospitals, saviours during drought, are just some examples of the wonderous abilities they display. As civilization grows less dangerous so does the stress that is often associated with the awakening of the flow reduce and only the real talents remain. Please be aware that this is a first draft at best. Tag/Genre analysis: Action: A theme that will appear in the story at some point (probably 15+ chapters in) Adventure: Yes Fantasy: Yes Magic, Beasts, and other fantastical elements are totally at home here. Tragedy: Life is not always fun. For what is fun when there are no downsides. I don't know how heavily I am going to lean into this genre. I want to but don't expect too much. Loop: Yes, though I will not divulge anything else. Just be aware that there isn't nearly as much looping as in MoL for example. Female Lead: Yes, Liana is female. Dungeon: Yes, there are dungeons. Yes, they will get explored. LitRPG: Yes, read the first chapter if you want an example. Magic: most definitely because who doesn't like calling lighting down from the heavens. (Disclaimer: No actual lightning will be called down from the heavens) Mythos: There are gods. So maybe, I don't know if that is enough to qualify? Progression: yes Slice of Life: There is plot, and the story will mostly be about that plot, but there will also be downtime because there can't always be action. The first "loop" especially the first 20-30 chapters will be heavily SoL. And afterward there will be a lot less. Profanity: The ocean (see title) includes sailors and we all know how the stereotypical sailor is. Gore: Hmmm, some but I will have it be not graphic at all.
