Chapter 1042: The End of the Great Rift Age
Qin Feng’s stare was full of murderous intent.
Since his own realm had suffered a blow in this battle, why not have a stroll around someone else’s turf?
An SSS-tier aptitude user could not stop Qin Feng’s movements.
Meanwhile, on the continent where the Dragon-borne resided, they looked up into space as a bright blue planet came into view.
The planet was so beautiful that they could not help but gasp at the sight.
There were only a few Dragon-borne S-tiers but they realized that something was wrong, so they flew off their landmass and stepped off into space.
At this time, Qin Feng had already stepped into their realm.
The huge SSS-tier Dragon-borne had been seriously injured as the hole in its chest was bleeding profusely. Qin Feng’s Verdant Emperor Saber was infused with blood before he slashed forward.
Pfft!
The head of the SSS-tier Dragon-borne was sent floating off into the cosmos.
Within Dragon Capital, everyone who had been watching was staring with widened eyes.
The lower-tier aptitude users roared with excitement. They were not aware that there was such a strong individual that had appeared in their realm.
And those who were SS-tier aptitude users felt a chill go down their spines as panic filled their hearts.
Especially the aptitude users of the Dark Coalition. They were frightened. Previously, when Qin Feng threatened them, they still had the idea to spread the news about him after leaving.
Such an idea had disappeared completely at that point. They did not dare expose their intentions toward him as they wiped away any plot and deception they had been brewing up.
His strength made them scared beyond scared!
It was at this time when Bai Li’s ten tails moved again. The effect of the dimension space disappeared and Dragon Capital returned to the Blue Star.
Then she gracefully lept up and flew toward the void. With a gente sway of her tail, the giant rift in the sky began to mend.

The cracks that appeared in the sky began to disappear. The last thing people saw of Qin Feng was him in the Dragon-borne’s realm over their continent, just as giant draconic figures began to fly out.
Some people could not help but worry about him being in danger, but they quickly realized that their realm was also in danger.
The two Dragon Breaths that the SSS-tier Dragon-borne blasted out had caused detrimental damage to their realm. Now, it was riddled with holes. Bai Li only sealed up the big one and did not bother with the rest.
Then, she transformed into her human shape before she descended toward Dragon Capital.
“Lady Bai Li!” Long Ting called out to her from a low-rise building and bowed to Bai Li while she was still in the void.
“Thank you!”
Long Ting said with sincere respect.
If it were not for Bai Li, if it were not for Qin Feng, the disaster they faced today would have probably been the Blue Star Realm’s final hour.
“Thank you, Lady Bai Li!”
“Thank you, thank you for saving us!”
“Lady Bai Li, my life is indebted to you. I wish to be of service!”
A bunch of aptitude users called out, caught up in the moment’s excitement.
After surviving what would have been their end, they would naturally be excited.
Even those S-tiers and SS-tiers were being respectful to her.
She was stunned for a moment, but she was a fox who had seen the world. Quickly composing herself and nodding lightly, she announced via her consciousness.
“As I said, this is my realm. It is under my protection. Nothing more, nothing less.”
This kind of cool attitude made Bai Li satisfied with herself.
However, she also had her own business to deal with and could not stay in the air forever. In a flash, she reappeared in front of Long Ting.
“This attack by the Dragon-borne had a great impact on us. In the beginning, the spatial beacon was leaked but I managed to seal it, but the seal was not absolute and it was broken.”

Long Ting thought of the previous battle followed by the rifts being wiped out. Dragon Capital was indeed safe for one and a half years and it was only when the SSS-tier Dragon-borne made a move that the seals were destroyed.
She quickly became alarmed. “Then, could you seal it again? Just look at the state of the Dragon-borne’s realm, I’m afraid that it is a superior realm and might contain an Immortal. Then our realm would really just be a clod of dirt that they can easily step on!”
Bai Li confidently raised her small chin. “That’s what I’m talking about. I can close off the rifts in this entire realm, except for the spatial passages that humanity has already established, but after that… After that, unless I unseal everything, the spatial beacons used to go to other realms or to return from them can’t be used. What are your thoughts?”
How important were spatial beacons? The easiest example would be the Dragon Gate Tower. If Bai Li started sealing, the Dragon Gate Tower would no longer open.
There were many other things as well that would be similar to this.
However, all the rifts also meant the rifts that existed on the frontlines. If there were no ultra beasts, then the entire human race would finally get some breathing room and maybe after a hundred years, humanity would finally regain its supremacy.
This news thrilled people.
“About this…” Long Ting was really surprised but she knew that this was not something she could make a decision on.
However, it just so happened today that all the SS-tiers of the Blue Star realm were present and they had a right to decide on this matter.
“Everyone, what do you think of Lady Bai Li’s suggestion? Is anyone against it?” Long Ting transmitted this through her consciousness and those surrounding SS-tiers quickly started thinking about all the resources they had.
“Seal off all the rifts? You know that our realm is an inferior realm, the spatial rifts are a hazard but they are also a resource!” An SS-tier quickly retorted. There were indeed a few spatial rifts under his command that had special qualities that he could enjoy on his own. Not establishing a spatial passage also meant that he did not have to share these resources. He then carefully explained himself, fearing that Bai Li would be unhappy, but after he finished explaining he felt a twinge of regret.
“I agree with the sealing. For the Blue Star Realm, this is a good thing. Then, perhaps the true disaster would pass.” Another said with a smile, looking a little too supportive and perhaps even sycophantic. In reality, for these SS-tiers who had countless realms and countless resources, so what if the Blue Star Realm was destroyed?
That usual saying “Fend off ultra beasts”, was only something said to children.
“But there are some realms that would only open at special times. Must we give up on these? We hold few of them and the lower-tier humans need those to get stronger.” Another person warned.
“Then, we can mimic what the Human Alliance does and establish realm gates. If there are enough realm gates then what would be our limits?”
“Then suggest…”
The Human Alliance began to debate amongst themselves and some were even talking about where the realm gates could be built. Obviously this was for the importance of resources in the future and these gates would require Bai Li to open them. These people just did not have that kind of power.
However, with the entire realm currently being torn apart by rifts and these people continuing to discuss, it only proved that they were too blinded by profit.

The Voice of the World
Jason Elric used to be an ordinary college student living in the heart of San Francisco. He had a part time job, he played online games with friends he got along moderately well with, and he earned reasonably good grades. The worst he really had to worry about in life was turning in his coursework on time and not being late to class. Now, though? Now fighting for his life and running from a horde of giant frogs that want to make him their next meal is just another Tuesday. Thanks to a summoning ritual gone terribly right, Jason has found himself trapped in a world eerily similar to the role playing games games he used to play for fun. Unfortunately for the now ex-college student, everything happening around him is terrifyingly real and if he wants to survive, he’ll have to figure out how to exploit the system for his benefit before it’s too late. The Voice of the World is the first part of what is planned to be a multi-book, Isekai LitRPG story with crafting elements, set in the fantasy world known as Verdania. This is my first time posting online for public consumption, so bear with me as I work to find a style that people like. While I may occasionally write scenes that may deal with heavy concepts, expect this story to be primarily light hearted high fantasy. There will be a lot of common fantasy tropes involved, as this story got its start as a simple practice exercise, rather than any plan to actually post it. However, it’s grown on me, so I felt it’s worth sharing after all. Thus, if you’re looking for more serious/original/unusual stories, you might want to look elsewhere. For the rest of you, feel free to leave suggestions, as well as to point out grammar and spelling mistakes; I’ll do my best to make edits to correct them. I do my own editing currently, and it’s easy to miss things when you know what’s supposed to be there, so such call outs are highly encouraged. Content TLDR: No harems, probably no romance (unless it makes sense for the story later on) (it did, eventually), definitely no sex (keeping this PG-13 or close to it), limited profanity. Does/Will contain mixes of magic and technology (think Warhammer, Final Fantasy); copious amounts of blue tables; race, gender, and sexual equality concepts; crafting sequences; and (slightly, but not overbearingly) strong protagonists. If you don’t like these things, go elsewhere instead of downvoting people for content instead of writing quality. Update Time currently varies, due to personal injury, but the goal is 1/week on Wednesdays, with a possible smaller chapter on weekends if time/health permits.
