Chapter 930: 930
Chapter 930: Dreamlike Inheritance
Before Qin Feng could have a good look, the light switched to him this time. He was instantly teleported to the arena too.
Snow ladies sitting in the surroundings were not affected. The ultra beasts in the participant zone were still there too. Only those called to the arena had disappeared.
‘Is this… spatial overlap? Who is the creator of this secret dimension? His or her skill is unbelievable!’
Qin Feng knew that even with his current power, it would be difficult for him to create an inheritance to such an extent. He would need Bai Li’s help to accomplish such a taxing feat.
In other words, the owner of this dimension certainly possessed power beyond an S-tier. But Qin Feng had never met an SS-tier aptitude user before, so he was not 100% certain.
On the opposite side of the arena, Qin Feng’s opponent appeared just as he did. Luckily, his opponent this round was not Hu San. Otherwise, Qin Feng would be in a dilemma.
Qin Feng actually recognized his opponent. He had seen it at the edge of the rift days ago. It was an S-tier Ice Drake. Of course, the drake was only a D-tier creature now.
Its body appeared to have shrunk. Though not as huge as Qin Feng first saw it, its twenty-meter body length was still gigantic as compared to a human.
The Ice Drake peered at Qin Feng scornfully. It seemed to recognize Qin Feng too. Near the rift, Qin Feng was the pesky little creature that commanded a puppet legion to open a path for him.
Here in the arena, Qin Feng was stripped of his army. As a single entity, Qin Feng was unprotected and exposed. Naturally, the Ice Drake despised him.
Rawr!
The drake roared and lunged toward Qin Feng imposingly.
Undeterred, Qin Feng mobilized his conscious energy and created a layer of ice shield.
Then, he raised his hand to summon a winter storm. The storm plunged toward the drake like an avalanche.
“Great Avalanche!”

The ability ravaged the arena.
Except for the first time, when the “teacher” had taught him the basics of ice rune, in every subsequent time freeze, Qin Fen was asked to choose between different runic abilities.
It would be unwise to pick randomly. The “teacher” would set a time limit for mastering the chosen runes. If the participant could not complete in time, the participant would be disqualified immediately.
Thus, the wiser ultra beasts, or even Hu San, always opted for the easier one. They did not dare to challenge runic abilities that were too difficult to master or they had never encountered.
However, Qin Feng did not care. His ability was absorption, which could quickly digest the runes regardless of how complicated the ability was.
The Great Avalanche forcefully pushed back the Ice Drake. Thick snow submerged the drake and would suffocate it if the ultra beast did not escape in time.
The Ice Drake would not go down without a fight. It hissed angrily and spat an ice crystal from its maw, which then diverged into a few tens of long spears.
Qin Feng evaded the spears agilely. When he could not avoid it, he met the incoming spear with an ice spear of his.
Then, he cast another ability.
This time, an ice prison appeared on top of the drake and clamped down rapidly. It trapped the ultra beast in it and rendered it immobile.
“Dragon Roar, Ice!”
Qin Feng raised his arm and an ice dragon lunged from his palm. It collided with the drake trapped inside the ice prison.
Boom!
The heavy collision splashed the snow into the air. In that short instance, it was difficult to tell whether the drake was alive or dead.
Suddenly, the head of the drake emerged from the snow and opened its maw against Qin Feng.
When the snow finally settled down, others could see that the drake had only half of its body left. The other half had been shattered by Qin Feng’s ability.
However, it still had enough strength to close in. To the ultra beast, this meant victory.

Qin Feng, unfazed, set up a thick ice wall to shield himself from the drake.
Bam!
The drake bumped into the wall and started bleeding. Nonetheless, it did not stop its determination to break through the ice wall.
Qin Feng tapped his palm lightly on the drake’s head as soon as it emerged through the wall. But the drake succumbed to the immense strength and could not move at all.
But Qin Feng did not actually retain his physical strength. He said coldly through his consciousness, “You don’t understand, do you? We are just an illusion created by our own consciousness. We are equivalent entities here. Your size, though daunting to look at, is meaningless here. Since you can’t wait to die, I don’t mind enlightening you before that.”
After he finished the sentence, Qin Feng did not give the drake any chance and burst forth with yet another ability.
Instantly, an ice ball condensed in Qin Feng’s hand and it was then pushed into the drake’s maw.
“Ice Blast!”
Boom!
The ice ball exploded and burst through drake’s head. Its upper half blew up into pieces.
Then, the other half of the ultra beast’s carcass also disintegrated into light dots like a firefly and disappeared into thin air.
Meanwhile, a light wrapped around Qin Feng and returned him to his seat.
Now, only half of the participants remained in their seats.
Fifty percent disqualification, that was a rather high percentage.
Qin Feng peered at where Hu San was sitting. Unsurprisingly, Hu San had passed the first round too.
After all, if Qin Feng, who was unfamiliar with ice ability, could beat his enemy using raw abilities, then Hu San as the master would use even less effort.
When Qin Feng thought that the battle was going to continue, the “teacher” appeared again with a mysterious grin at the edges of her mouth.
“Congratulations. You all have officially graduated from this college. As a parting gift, you are now given the chance to learn different abilities at the Frozen Palace. Remember, each ice pillar there is carved with a specific runic ability. They are all free to be mastered. To what extent you could assimilate them lies on your own fortune. Now, go!”
Time around them suddenly sped up again. In the blink of an eye, Qin Feng found himself inside a great hall made solely with ice.
Everything that happened in here was dreamlike. However, Qin Feng managed to withhold his sanity and did not immerse himself completely into this world or believe that it was real.
A door was opened up. All the ultra beasts and the two humans swarmed in hastily.
Once they were in, one after another ice pillar began to emerge as told by the “teacher”. The pillars were imprinted with ice runes. The ultra beasts gathered up to the pillars rapidly trying to understand what were the abilities hidden within the rune arrangement.
However, these ultra beasts were initially S-tier creatures. They had ice runes on them and it attracted the runes from the pillars into their bodies.
Though some of the runes still remained on the pillar, the skill had become an imperfect arrangement.
At that moment, the ultra beasts seemed to have understood that this was going to be another turf war.
One had to secure a pillar all to itself. Otherwise, the runes would be diluted and none could learn the complete ability.
Roar!
Suddenly, the ultra beasts charged at each other. The hall had turned into a chaotic battlefield.
Hu San and Qin Feng were the only two who did not join in the brawl.
They said nothing to each other but tacitly dashed deeper into the palace.
Since there were so many ice pillars in here, why did they need to fight?
Two snowy foxes saw them and decided to follow them into the deeper zone.
These were the two S-tier snow foxes Qin Feng had met near the glaciers from before.
