Helian Mingjie’s words were clearly hinting that he would not help them at all now in this operation.

However, all his words did was invite pity from Tung Yang. This kid… did he think that Qin Feng needed the help of someone like him?

Still, Tung Yang did not want to say it out loud to embarrass the young man. After all, Helian Mingjie was still young, and he still had a lot more to learn and grow. He did not want to demotivate the young man.

“You’re not here to help, General Helian. The reason I’m bringing you out here is to give you some opportunities to learn.” Tung Yang sighed before following Qin Feng into the control room.

Helian Mingjie was stunned and stood alone in the lobby. Then, he recollected himself and walked toward the control room. He wanted to see just what kind of joke Qin Feng would make himself out to be later!

“Yeah, I’ll see what this Qin Feng could teach me!”

Meanwhile, the Glutton was moving forward at a rather fast speed.

It was spring. So, there were a lot of ultra beasts raging in the ocean. Although Qin Feng had killed so many of them last year, these monsters seemed to always find a way to recover their number and come back.

It did not take long before the Glutton entered the red zone. Qin Feng gave the order to keep on moving without batting an eye. There were already several ultra beasts appearing nearby; however, they looked like babies when compared to the gigantic Glutton.

Thus, the Glutton kept on going onward, entering an area that humans had not explored before. The waters in the surrounding area were pitched black, giving out an eerily terrifying presence.

An ultra beast let out a furious roar, warning the vessel to not come closer. Then, it swam swiftly toward the Glutton, attempting to defend its own territory.

The alarm in the control room sounded as a red dot appeared on the radar.

It was an A-tier beast general!

Qin Feng connected his consciousness and controlled the half-flesh, half-machine Glutton.

The Glutton let out a deafening roar, stunning the beast general. Seeing this, the beast general turned tail and attempted to flee.

However, it was not fast enough.

The Glutton opened its massive jaw, leading to the waters in the area flowing into its mouth. The beast general was forcefully brought toward the Glutton by the powerful water current.

Then, in a single crunch, the Glutton had sunk its teeth and fangs into the beast general’s body, penetrating its sturdy scales and body before sending a surge of dark runes into its body, rotting its body even further.

In mere seconds, the beast general was completely chewed to pieces and sent into the Glutton’s “stomach”—the storage area of the vessel.

After taking care of the beast general with ease, the Glutton kept on going.

Witnessing all this, Helian Mingjie was completely stunned. Then, he gave Qin Feng a belittling smirk.

“So what? It’s just because you have a powerful vessel. If I also have a machine like this, I could be even greater than you.”

Helian Mingjie looked around the control room in envy.

Then, the alarm sounded again.

This time, there were twenty one red dots.

“Oh no, these are the Mountainous Tortoises!”

The Mountainous Tortoises were beasts that were about six-floor tall, hundreds of meters in length. Although they did not stand a chance taking on the Glutton alone, if they could combine their strength they might actually defeat it.

Not only that, amongst the tortoises, there was also a three-hundred-meter long beast king.

Seeing this, Bai Li said, “There’s no need to worry. Leave them to me. Oh, and remember to do a video recording of my battle. We could use it for my A-tier rank-up mission!”

Tung Yang raised his eyebrow and wanted to suggest that she take down the beast king. However, before he was able to open his mouth, Bai Li had vanished into thin air.

“Stop talking.” Tung Yang spoke softly to Helian Mingjie. Now, he could not help but feel that he was making a huge mistake in bringing this brat along.

“Regent, Sir! I’m saying this for everyone’s good!”

“Stop talking!” Tung Yang raised his voice. The tone of his voice was not only stern but also filled with shame.

Suddenly, a girl’s voice could be heard from behind.

“For everyone’s good? For what? What’s wrong? Why are you fighting?”

Helian Mingjie was surprised to hear that voice. He turned and saw Bai Li standing behind him.

“What? How… when did you come back?” Helian Mingjie was dumbfounded. He stumbled on his words when he posed his question to Bai Li—he intended to ask how long she had been standing behind him. It was very unthinkable for him to not sense her presence at all.

Bai Li tilted her head and looked at Helian Mingjie curiously, wondering why he was so surprised. “I was here the whole time!”

“Ah, I see. You did not leave to take on the Mountainous Tortoises then? That is a smart move, girl. Yeah, there’s no way for you to take on so many of them at once. I thought we’ve lost you back there. Good. If you want to rank up to A-tier, there are many other ways to do this. There’s no need to act hastily.”

Helian Mingjie spoke to Bai Li like a teacher, trying to teach her the ways to be an A-tier.

Bai Li, however, looked at him even more curiously.

Finally, Lin Qiao opened his mouth, “General Helian, Miss Bai Li has already killed them!”

Helian Mingjie thought he had misheard him. However, when he looked at Lin Qiao, he realized he was being serious.

“She did? Come on, this is not funny at all!”

“Who’s joking with you?! If you are too dense to read the room, why don’t you look out the window and see for yourself?!” Tung Yang scolded, “I told you to stop talking, didn’t I? Have you not embarrassed yourself enough?!”

Helian Mingjie took a look at the radar and saw that all the red dots were already gone. He quickly looked out the window and saw nothing but blood on the sea surface.

Not even one minute had passed since he suggested a retreat.

“How?! How is this possible?! How did she kill twenty Mountainous Tortoises and their beast king in under a minute?!”

It was then, Bai Li had sent the recorded video from one of the Glutton’s terminals to Tung Yang.

Tung Yang then purposely played the video in front of Helian Mingjie.

“Well, perhaps it’s also high time for us to do an inspection on Miss Bai Li’s abilities. You two can be my witness of my grading.”

This was one of the real reasons Tung Yang wanted to bring these two A-tiers with him—to help rank Bai Li up to A-tier.

In the video, the Mountainous Tortoises were swimming slowly and surely toward the Glutton. Suddenly, a white dressed girl appeared above them. She raised her hands and sent ten rays of silver beams into the water.

Then, each of the silver beams burst into several dozen black threads!
