Chapter 850: 850
Chapter 850: Reinforcement from the Long Family
The form of an ability was fixed once the runes were arranged in a certain way. It could not be altered easily, or else the casted ability would collapse instantly.
But this rule did not apply to an S-tier. They had learned enough to master the way of rearranging the runes while maintaining the ability’s power.
The sudden explosion would catch anyone by surprise.
Ayshan was even crazier than Z. No matter what, Z would spare Qin Feng’s life because he wanted Qin Feng as his experimental subject. That was why Qin Feng could always get away from Z unscathed.
In contrast, Ayshan only wanted Qin Feng dead. Despite his status as a prestigious S-tier, Ayshan was not shy from using such an unethical tactic.
It was a killing blow.
Qin Feng actually admired Ayshan’s unsympathetic approach. He suffered greatly sustaining the explosion head-on.
The moment the runes exploded, Qin Feng could vividly feel that his consciousness was starkly impacted too. The explosion seemed to have generated an echo in his conscious realm and shook the starglobe.
In that instant, Qin Feng almost fainted.
Such an attack would usually blow a normal ability user’s head apart the moment it hit.
But Qin Feng withstood it. The explosive shockwave brushed past three diamond starglobes and two elemental sacred stones before finally landing on Qin Feng’s dark planet. It had lost most of its momentum then and was unable to crush Qin Feng’s conscious realm.
Qin Feng survived the assault thanks to his mammoth conscious power. Even so, a lot of runes in his realms were blown apart in the process and lost from Qin Feng’s diamond starglobe for good. He would need to remaster them if he wished to have the runes back.
Abilities relied on the arrangement of its corresponding rune type. Without the rune, one could not execute the ability even if he or she knew how to cast it.
This was only the damage in places that people could not see.

On the outside, the onlookers witnessed how the sudden explosion of the fallen fire had blasted the earth shield into ashes. As the blast wave was about to reach Qin Feng and Bai Li under it, Bai Li reflexively dragged the Chiliad Orb in her hand and ripped apart a rift on top of them.
All incoming impact, as well as the fire, was absorbed into the rift. Qin Feng, Bai Li, and the igloo did not suffer any physical damage.
Bai Li pulled a long face. Rage burned brightly through her silver iris. She was obviously infuriated because Qin Feng was hurt.
“Qin Feng, will I be in trouble if I kill him?” Bai Li asked.
Ever since Bai Li had evolved into a beast deity, her strength was comparable to that of an S-tier. Then again, it did not mean that she would definitely win the battle against one.
But, at the very least, she stood a chance.
Of course, every S-tier currently in the Human Alliance was an immeasurable asset. Killing one would have immense consequences.
This Ayshan acted mental. In Bai Li’s world view, Hu San was a good type of S-tier, while Ayshan was naturally a contrasting presence—a villain, an enemy. Nobody would blame her for exterminating such a scum.
Bai Li was ready to move. Silver fur began to grow near the tip of her ears. Her fang became more apparent, while the fingers of her hands were getting sharper. Under her oversize gown, seven tails grew gradually as her aura quickly escalated.
She would need to use her deadliest form against an S-tier.
“No! Wait!” Qin Feng held Bai Li back. The buzz shrouding his mind had toned down considerably now. He did not want Bai Li to fight, especially in her true form. Though many might have figured Bai Li’s identity as a contracted beast, they would view her differently once her beast form was unveiled.
The dirty-minded people would look down on her and view her as a plaything.

Qin Feng would never allow that. If they really needed to kill the S-tier, then Qin Feng would do it.
“Later, send me behind him with your spatial runes. I will be the one who kills him.” Qin Feng knew this would be their final resort.
With the Verdant Emperor Saber in his hand, Qin Feng believed he could tear past any sort of difficulty.
“Okay!” Bai Li nodded. She had decided to teleport with Qin Feng at the same time but would emerge in front of Ayshan instead of behind him. That would draw the S-tier’s attention onto herself and further guarantee Qin Feng’s safety.
They had both prepared to bet their lives on this final assault. Their battle intent was at the highest of all time.
This was when two S-tier auras intruded the battlefield out of the blue.
Two young-looking men came into sight. One of them was at least two-meter high with a burly figure. He did not look undersized even among the North Africans, who were generally sturdier.
The other was much lighter. He carried himself tenderly, which matched well with his good-looking face. A gold-frame glasses sparkled handsomely around his eyes.
Humans had advanced tremendously to rid themselves of most diseases and ailments. Short-sightedness was one of them. An S-tier like him would not need a pair of spectacles. It was obviously just an adornment.
The users from the North America Alliance did not recognize the two of them. They could only guess that they might have come from Huaxia judging by their skin color.
Their figures got larger and larger and they finally landed in between Ayshan and Qin Feng. It took less than five seconds from the moment they had appeared to reach in front of them.
Qin Feng immediately knew who they were, even though he could only see their backs.
One was the renowned elect from Dragon Capital—Long Yue.
While the other one was none other than Master Long, Long Yunyi.
It was no surprise that they were here. Most elects in the Long Family were already in their late years. Though they all looked young, who knew how long they had actually lived? Perhaps someone in the family was approaching the end of his or her life span.
Even though they did not have an urgent need for the item hidden here, who could say they would not need it in the future? As such, it was entirely understandable for them to visit this place. Qin Feng was actually more surprised that they were not here earlier.
Long Yue stood in front of Qin Feng like a giant mountain. Qin Feng’s battle intent thus toned down a little. Though he was unsure whether they had rushed here purposely to save him, Qin Feng hoped they would at least help him chase away Ayshan. After all, he had offered them the Sky Demon Sword before.
Even one S-tier was overwhelming enough. Right now, just as the Blood River Realm was being exposed, four of them had shown up. The onlookers could hardly control their trembling bodies.
But Qin Feng, who stood among the giants, was the one who felt closest to death.
“Ayshan, what are you trying to do? Do you plan to kill a Huaxia’s guardian? Don’t you fear that I will take your life?” Long Yue’s voice sounded like a giant gong. It contained internal force and could be clearly heard even at three thousand meters away.
Ayshan’s eyeballs turned rapidly. The hideous look on his face had subdued a little.
If he was a normal S-tier, he would have been daunted by the threat. But Ayshan was everything but normal. He was a demon, a sick demon.
“S-tier from Huaxia? Stick your nose elsewhere. Have you two weaned? Let me teach you some respect!” Ayshan was again on the move as soon as he finished the sentence.

The Apocalypse Show - Dungeon Core
There were lot's of ways that people had predicted that the world would end. A few even had it partially correct. But how could they have predicted it would be a combination of the system apocalypse and aliens. Specifially aliens that wanted to create the equivlant of a TV show about the system apocalypse on Earth. Arthur woke up with a headache and the option to create a character. Most people would have gone with the safe choice and selected to stay a human. Arthur suspected that wouldn't be the safe choice in his new world. Instead he decided to see what other races were available. Eventually he decided to become a dungeon core instead. Of course being a dungeon core comes with a number of challenges. Starting with the fact that he was a giant crystal instead of having a body, managing a bunch of unintelligent minons, and most importantly the reaction of his human neighbors when they discover him. If he can overcome these challenges he may be able to enjoy some of the benefits. Such as the fact that dungeon cores are immortal and he would eventually have an entire army of dungeon minions that would obey any of his commands. Perhaps even find some female companions that are looking for a safe place during the apocalypse. Warning: If this fiction was a movie I'd rate it R for occasional scenes of violence, gore, nudity, and sexual content. This isn't something you would find in the young adult section. This does not mean that this would be rated NC-17 or X, if that is what you are looking for try lewd dungeon.
