“Okay, I’ll get on it right away!” Wang Chen replied immediately, not even questioning why Qin Feng asked him to get those people.

Qin Feng nodded to himself after hearing Wang Chen’s reply. This was a real subordinate that he needed—someone who would do anything to fulfill his order, even if it meant doing something crossing one’s own principles.

If he could fully use this kind of subordinate, he could be the best kind of weapon in his organization, assuming that he did not overdo it and cut himself in the process.

Still, Qin Feng believed that all of his subordinates would not do any inhumane things under his leadership.

“Good. Now, I’ve learned that although this Fettering Land around Chongluo City is indeed a perilous place, the place actually does not affect the powerless civilians much. In fact, this could be an opportunity for people like them!”

Qin Fen then briefly explained what was going on in the Fettering Land. This was done so that Wang Chen could do his job better. More importantly, he needed him to find volunteers.

After hanging up, Wang Chen continued on sending out messages after messages, making calls after calls.

Therefore, not many people noticed that there was a spatial tunnel opening up in the sky. Qin Feng darted straight into the tunnel and quickly sealed off the entrance of the tunnel, not giving time for the creatures in the Fettering Land to absorb any of the energies from this side of the world.

“Crunch Crunch Crunch!”

After a few moments of hovering in the air, Qin Feng could hear some loud, eerie chewing from below. It sounded like some huge creature was chewing and devouring a lot of its prey in the woods.

Qin Feng quickly held his breath to conceal his presence as he landed on the ground. Even though he did not put much effort in presence concealment, due to not many people having their consciousness activated, Qin Feng was still as stealthy as a cat.

After a few silent steps ahead, Qin Feng saw it—a five-meter, chubby ultra beast with round ears and thick pelt. From afar, it looked like a big, fat bear!

The ultra beast was sitting on a patch of grass, using its long tongue to lick clean the corpses and blood on the ground.

More importantly, there was a young man riding on the bear’s back.

“Growwl!” The bear’s ears perked up as it instinctively sensed Qin Feng’s presence.

As soon as the bear saw Qin Feng, the young man on its back too had taken notice of Qin Feng and looked in his direction.

“Who’s there?!”

The young man’s voice sounded childlike and yet aggressive.

Qin Feng immediately recognized who that was.

“Chu Fan! It’s me!” Qin Feng opened his mouth as he stepped out of his hiding.

“You!” Chu Fan did not expect Qin Feng to appear before him. “I thought you’ve already gone home? Why are you back?”

Chu Fan’s eyes were glittering with doubt. Despite that, his eyes did not radiate hostility like he did the last time they met.

Chu Fan hated Z. He wanted to destroy everything that Z created. However, this did not mean that Chu Fan was completely consumed by hatred.

After observing for a whole day, Chu Fan could tell that Qin Feng was different. Everything he did in Chongluo City felt so different from Z’s methods.

To add more, Chu Fan was also able to determine Qin Feng’s faction through a day’s worth of observation—this Qin Feng belonged to a faction called “Fengli”; and “Fengli” was not part of Z’s organization.

“I’m just here to handle a few things… and a few words of advice, man. You’ve seen their research before; so, you should know that it’s a bad idea leaving these corpses lying around like this. In just one day, this whole place would be swarmed with giant bugs!”

Chu Fan’s eyes glittered with interest before opening his mouth, “You are so different from Z!”

“I did tell you that I’m not with him!” Qin Feng answered with a bitter smile. “Still, if I were you, I wouldn’t be showing myself without making sure that I could take on my enemy!”
