Chapter 808: Staying After the Disaster
While Qin Feng had been slaughtering, it was a completely different scenario in the world outside.
As the communicator contained energy, once there was an overlapping space they ceased functioning but the moment they left, everything was restored!
Aptitude users all had their strength restored and civilians could also contact other people, telling the others in a panic about their situation and the joy of being alive after all of that.
They felt as if they had returned to where they were supposed to be and were able to gain a peace of mind.
However this peace of mind soon brought along new worries.
“I can’t reach my daughter’s communicator, what should I do? Did my daughter not come out with us?”
“I shouldn’t have let him go out, I just wanted to eat some barbecue. If he didn’t go out, maybe we could have come out together!”
“Sir, when is the next rescue operation going to be?”
“Waaaah…I want my mommy, I want my mommy!”
The chaotic sounds all blended into one.
They had managed to escape their end, but their livelihoods were destroyed.
The city that they lived in, Chongluo City, had always been known for its fairly high safe factor, and that had been established for over fifty years.
That being said, the people born here were unaware of the dangers outside and had lived a comfortable life since birth.
And now, the city had fallen. They had no more homes, no more houses, no land to call their own.
There were deposits in their communicators, but these people had never left their own city before and did not know what the other places were like.
It was at this moment that a dialog box automatically popped up on their communicators.
Messages were posted with advanced authorization.
On the communicators’ screens, someone who people saw as a breathtakingly beautiful woman appeared.
“Dear Chongluo City residents, I am the vice governor for the North Sea State of the Huaxia Alliance’s Northern Region and I am specifically responsible for this rescue operation. On behalf of myself, I can only express my deepest sympathies for your experience. Later, we will contact the Zhongcheng Group’s hover trains and take you to one of the three cities near Chongluo City! Choose any location!”

“You have another option, which is to follow the Fengli Organization to the North Sea State. The airships will take you to Fengli City free of charge. As compensation for the disaster, the Fengli Organization will provide accommodations and essentials and allow you to live tax free for the next ten years. Later, there will be a prompt on your communicators for you to decide!”
After Bai Li’s speech was over, everyone’s communicator screens shifted into a selection screen with the names of three different cities near Chongluo City and one of those choices was Fengli City!
These people did not even know where Feng Li City was!
However, they recalled that when they were scaling the metal stairway they saw four large words tacked onto it which read ‘Made By Feng Li’.
Not only that, when they raised their heads they could see four airships hovering in the air. They were huge and vast and the signs on them blared brightly with two words, ‘Feng Li’.
Whether it was before or now, they had this name deeply etched in their memory. So they made their choice, unless the other cities had people they could rely on, most of them chose Fengli City.
Meanwhile, there was still another group of people. This group was different.
Unlike the disorganized crowd, they were outside of a command vehicle. All of them were aptitude users and there were quite a number of them, going up to a thousand people.
Of course, they followed by terms of strength. The weakest ones stood at the perimeter, but they were all E-tier. That meant that they were qualified to be there.
There were D and C-tiers that made up the inner circle.
From the command vehicle, six B-tier aptitude users stepped out.
Jiang Haolin was the first to step out, followed by the first aptitude users to scale the stairs, Long Tao and Zhou Ce, and then finally Li Yuanshan, Guan Shan and Ning Xin who were the last aptitude users to exit.

The surrounding atmosphere was filled with tension.
“Jiang Haolin, are you seriously going to betray Lord Liu? Are you bored of living?” Li Yuanshan asked in a serious tone.
“There’s no betrayal. I just resigned, so there’s nothing wrong with that right?” Jiang Haolin simply replied.
Among the six people, he was the one who exited Chongluo City first and witnessed the most.
Liu Chong gave up on Chongluo City, the regent gave up on Chongluo City.
Only Qin Feng did not give up.
He had made the decision, this time he would leave with Qin Feng.
Besides, Jiang Haolin was not a member of the Huaxia Alliance’s administration, he was just a patrol corps general. He was not the deputy duke like Guan Shan, nor a finance minister like Li Yuanshan.
“The duke also has situations that are beyond his power, don’t you know? What’s more you’re the first one to escape, what do you have to say about that?” Li Yuanshan roared.
Li Yuanshan bore a grudge against Qin Feng. Naturally, he did not like Qin Feng and did not want him to develop further, gaining more and more subordinates. In his mind, it was better if Qin Feng died in that overlapped space.
Jiang Haolin let out a bitter laugh and said, “Yes, I can’t refute the decision made by Lord Liu Chong, but without a single thought of returning? Obviously, he did not care about the people in the city, he did not care about aptitude users like you and I! You shouldn’t be thanking your good luck, you should be thanking General Qin for not giving up, otherwise you would all be dead!”
“Jiang Bro, think about this again!”
“Yeah, don’t be impulsive!”
Long Tao and Zhou Ce both spoke up. Although alarmingly dangerous, even if Lord Liu Chong was here what could he do, would he not be as powerless as them?
As for Qin Feng, they were naturally grateful, but he was just a B-tier ancient warrior with parallel training.
As for Jiang Haolin, who was also B-tier, he truly wanted to take refuge from the other person, they thought he had gone crazy.
Why did they follow Liu Chong? Was it not because Liu Chong’s resources could be easily accessed and helped with their cultivation? Could Qin Feng do that?
Jiang Haolin looked at the disapproving faces of these two and knew what they were thinking. There was a smirk at the corner of his mouth, these people did not know how powerful Qin Feng was.
For this group of arrogant and defiant people who respected nobody but themselves, how would they understand?
Just that moment, another voice chimed in.
“I’ve decided to follow Brother Jiang!”
It was Ning Xin!
Ning Xin was really stunned by Qin Feng. He had heard some news about him, an ability user who was also an ancient warrior, wielding both fire and dark abilities. The weakest note about him was that he was the number one prodigy.
More importantly, when the others were powerless, Qin Feng, being a parallel martial artist, still rushed into the danger zones to rescue people.
In the last fight, Qin Feng’s outstanding marksmanship was what stood out the most to Ning Xin.
This person was beyond a genius, he was a straight up demon.
Maybe Qin Feng was B-tier now, but it would only be a matter of time before he reached A tier. What was more, he might reach a level that they could only look up to but never see a trace of!
S-tier!
Ning Xin decided to place his bets on him!
