It was just a low level aptitude user with only E-tier capabilities, but obviously, that person was quite well known within Chongluo City.
Perhaps a little tyrant from the slumps.
“Ah!!!”
“Li Wen, he killed Li Wen!”
“Isn’t that Minister Li’s nephew?”
The crowd looked at the abandoned decapitated head and was struck by cold chills down their spines.
The kill had definitely triggered fear within them and put the chaotic scene to a halt, all of them were frozen still.
“I will kill anyone who dares to force their way through. I do not wish to repeat myself, it is better for all of you to get into the queue, or else, get lost!”
At that moment, Qin Feng made use of violence to instil fear!
The crowd was haunted by fear as they trembled, none of them dared to disobey Qin Feng’s order. Guan Shan led a few other aptitude users to throw out punches and kicks toward the crowd that tried to push through the queue. Although they had not resorted to killing like Qin Feng, they were still being very harsh to those who disobeyed.
Guan Shan was more desperate than the others.
He observed Qin Feng’s expression and knew that he could not voice out his intention to leave first.
Hence, the only way for Guan Shan to leave the eerie place was to arrange for everyone to leave.
However, the more desperate he was, the larger the crowd grew. When looking at the metal boxes that had left, the crowd realized that those were their only way to be rescued. Those who had rushed over were not just from the northern part of the city, the western, and eastern were also there. Even the southern crowd who was the furthest away had also come.
An hour later, the crowd was not reducing, it had even grown bigger.
Two hours!
Three hours!
A team walked out from the north gate, they were in a bloodbath, obviously heavily wounded. Since they were capable of surviving the journey, they were definitely equipped with powerful capabilities.

Qin Feng glanced through them and noticed that one of them was a B-tier aptitude user.
However, as soon as the person came forward and saw the dead body on the ground, he was livid.
“Who killed Li Wen!!!?”
That person was exactly the finance minister of Chongluo City, Li Yuanshan!
Guan Shan heard the roar and was immediately alerted, he looked in that direction and noticed that it was really Li Yuanshan.
Li Yuanshan had also noticed Guan Shan.
“Guan Shan, were you here? Did you see who was the one who killed Li Wen?”
Although his nephew had always gotten himself into trouble, for Li Yuanshan, those were merely harmless deeds that would be of no great matter. With his capabilities and past endurances in achieving his accomplishments, all he wanted was to provide a better future for his own child. Would he not also wish for his close ones to live a carefree life?
It was an unexpected misfortune, he was too late in protecting his close ones, and he was not there to save him from being killed.
Judging from the scene, someone had decapitated him using a sword.
Qin Feng answered with his deep tone, “It was me, what’s the matter?”
Li Yuanshan heard the answer and was instantly livid, how could someone who had killed his nephew still react in such an arrogant and righteous manner? He turned around and saw Qin Feng who looked ridiculously youthful.
“You!”
Li Yuanshan was about to curse in rage and kill Qin Feng to release his anger, however he saw the similar B-tier badge that Qin Feng was wearing.
Also, it was a familiar face.
“General Qin Feng!” He was clenching his teeth while calling out Qin Feng’s name.
But Qin Feng was unable to recognize Li Yuanshan. From his memories, there was no such B-tier general.
Perhaps Li Yuanshan remained at the Fettering Land since the beginning, hence, Qin Feng would certainly not know about him.
However, Guan Shan had only revealed to Qin Feng the identity of the dead person after he had killed him. Qin Feng was not remorseful about the death of the insignificant aptitude user, such a person deserved to be killed.

“Minister Li!” Qin Feng nodded.
Li Yuanshan refused to accept the outcome and questioned with a deep voice, “I wonder, what sort of unforgivable act did my nephew do to have General Qin take the matter into your own hands?”
Qin Feng answered without any emotions, “Disobeying military order!”
Since Qin Feng’s rebirth, he did not have such powerful capabilities before, and he had been through a lot. When he was questioned by Li Yuanshan, he immediately stated the accusation.
Aptitude users who belonged under the Human Alliance would have to adhere to the orders given. Although most of the orders would not make any major difference, when facing such a massive threat, such rules played an important role.
At that time, when Qin Feng was at the Longchuan battlefield, was he not also oppressed by the same pressure and forced to join the Dark Coalition?
And now, Li Wen’s offense was exactly disobeying military orders.
If it were not because of his barbaric and reckless act, the others would not have engaged in such a riot. If it were to become worse, the crowd might swarm in together, a massive armed fight might be triggered, and the rescue mission would be prolonged for an undetermined period of time.
“Provoking disruption, asserting arrogant dominance, delaying combat aircraft, mortal crime!” Qin Feng listed out the offenses.
It was too much for Li Yuanshan, he was livid with his bloodshot eyes. He was aware of the personality of his nephew and immediately connected the dots, Qin Feng had most probably killed his disobeying nephew to set out a warning to the others!
When equipped with such capabilities, nobody would be simple-minded anymore.
From Li Yuanshan’s point of view, it was totally an insignificant issue!
“Minister Li, please stay calm, prioritize the rescue mission and allow the others to leave first.” Guan Shan advised.
But Li Yuanshan had heard none of it.
“Speaking of rescuing, what about my nephew? This is utter nonsense. What do these people have to do with me? They are but a bunch of trash. My nephew is an aptitude user, why allow these ordinary humans to go up but not an aptitude user?!”
Li Yuanshan looked at the long queue in front and shouted in rage.
Despite suffering heartache from the death of his nephew, Li Yuanshan had noticed another underlying issue. With such a large amount of crowd, when would it be his turn to leave?
Hence, he intended to stir up the chaotic scene to allow him to get ahead of the others and leave with the other aptitude users.
Also, Li Yuanshan’s capability had declined significantly, and he did not wish to go against Qin Feng.
Guan Shan noticed that Li Yuanshan was pestering endlessly so he immediately rebuked with anger, “Minister Li, what are you talking about? You are an aptitude user, but you were still an ordinary human before sixteen, and now that you are a leader from the Human Alliance, how could you express such statements, what is in your brain? Faeces?”
Li Yuanshan sneered, pointing at Guan Shan’s nose as he scolded, “I dare you to bring this up to the higher authority. I am not wasting my time on this, who can stop me from leaving? With such capabilities in us, we should not waste our lives for these trash, we can just leave and allow us to create a better city and space. By then, we can have as many civilians as we wish!”
Establishing the foundation of a colony could be done by purchasing fill-ins. If Li Yuanshan really intended to set up his own establishment, it would not take him too long!
However, Qin Feng did not wish to witness that!
Qin Feng’s grin was as cold as accumulated snow on a giant snow mountain, the cold chills would strike deep into the bones.
“Perhaps there is something that all of you might not know, the Human Alliance has already abandoned this mission!”
Qin Feng pointed to the location of the metal box again and loudly declared, “This item was discovered by my research, without my permission, none of you are allowed to get onto it!”

Path of Righteousness
What do you desire? What are you afraid of? You run away from one, pursuing the other. Is that all you are? Conquer your fears. Dig to the bottom and confirm, what you really want... ...For you cannot escape suffering and death. You only have a little time. Use it wisely. Uru, a young boy with no talent for magic or fighting, sets out on a quest to become an avatar of order, the physical embodiment of righteousness, in a distant future, where control of origin energy allows people to defy physics and manipulate causality. Mocked by fate and broken by impossible dreams, all that's left is to stand in defiance to cruel existence. Because there is a Truth out there, somewhere. Singular, transcendent, eternal. What would you sacrifice for it? *** This is a fantastic sci-fi epic. It's going to blend both western and eastern traditional fantasy tropes – like might & magic and cultivation – with rational sci-fi grounded fully in reality, to produce a purely fictional fairy tale. I'd like to deliver something light-hearted and yet wholly serious. An uplifting adventure exploring the unfathomable reaches of humanity, free of indecency, with a healthy dose of humorous banter, legendary beings, and most importantly – lots of exciting, firework-filled mayhem! I've tried reading many web novels, but there's a fundamental problem with them – the eastern ones are annoyingly repetitive, superficial and morally destitute, while western ones are often dark, convoluted and profane. There's only so much one can do to filter out the bad and try to fill in the gaps with their own imagination. It's one thing to eat tasty fast food, but if it's moldy and filled with toxins, then it's not only poisonous, but also disgusting. The appreciation of beauty and higher values is disappearing at an alarming rate. Although there are throngs of talented people out there, none of them are creating what I want to witness – an inspiring battle against impossible odds, ending in absolute victory. A triumph of the spirit so overwhelming, it crushes the spectator into his seat and takes his breath away. I'm looking for a real paragon, so now I'd like to try conceiving one. *** The MC's name comes from Tolkien's Elven dictionary in Silmarillion, 'Uru' meaning 'Fire', and 'Dagnir an Uruloki' meaning 'Slayer of Dragons'. *** Note: I'm neither a native speaker, nor an aficionado of literature – I've never written anything before, and despite proficient English my literary prowess is abysmal. It therefore takes me a painful amount of effort to polish the chapters and bring them up to par. Last year I wrote and posted some on FictionPress, but I stopped since it wasn't going anywhere. The appalling amount of filth and mediocrity being peddled in all the media nowadays – a result of no conspiracy to manipulate the masses, but plain supply and demand – is no longer just the triumph of form over substance, but most worryingly corruption of the latter. Who wants to read about ideals anymore? And yet, masses flock together to gobble up perversion and depravity. That being said, I can't rule out pitiful exposure as the culprit to my failure, so I am now once again trying to increase it here, possibly for the last time. If there are still human beings present, hungry or in need of a detox after eating too much garbage, make yourselves heard, so I can see a reason to continue the story. Otherwise it's pointless – I'm not going to make fodder for the masses, and I'm most certainly not going to throw pearls before swine. I'll simply stop writing altogether.
