Chapter 753: Perilous Hell Island

Qin Feng began his journey in Hell Island with a rewarding first kill. He was happy to gain the plant beast’s wooden core.

Other users might have already paid with their lives if they were the ones landing in Qin Feng’s spot.

Most participants would usually tie themselves with their comrades before jumping into the vortex to increase the chance of survival. Luckily, they saw a small piece of land that they could land on.

However, the “land” suddenly turned around and transformed into a giant crocodile head. The three users were instantly swallowed by the maw.

On the other side of the island, a few A-tier aptitude users descended near the foot of a volcano. To their horror, a flame red double-winged wyvern flew right above them.

The wyvern’s size was not very huge but its aura spelled danger. It was an A-tier beast deity.

The few A-tiers quickly concealed their aura but the wyvern had already seen them.

The beast tilted its head and opened its maw. In the next instant, a scary fire breath came gushing out from its mouth and drowned the few A-tiers.

Horrible incidents like this happened in every corner of the island. However, there were also people with a better fortune—those who landed beside rare herbs, or deceased aptitude users from the past that left behind their lifetime possessions.

As for Qin Feng, he was still searching his way inside the jungle.

There were some herbs and fruits around him that might be lucrative to common aptitude users. But to Qin Feng, who had adventured the Divine Mountain and filled the entire Fengli City with Glittering Gold Sand, this was nothing.

Other than the flora, the forest was also crammed with numerous mutated beasts.

Powerful B-tier mutated beasts inside the forest could not escape Qin Feng’s slaughter, not to mention the fearless C-tiers that jumped at Qin Feng recklessly.

Though the forest seemed to be borderless at first glance, Qin Feng walked out of it rather quickly.

He focused his consciousness on a mountain right in front of him. In his perception, the mountain appeared to be a treasure.

It was a rocky mountain with little vegetation. On a closer look, the rocks were no ordinary rocks but a very rare type of ore.

‘Sulphuron Crystal! Such a huge quantity at that!’

Qin Feng was astonished. He did not plan to leave before emptying the entire mountain.

A palm-sized Sulphuron Crystal was equivalent to the value of a B-tier herb. How much would it be worth for a mountain of them?

Sulphuron Ants were a very tough species of insectoid. Each individual ant possessed the power of A2-tier and above. Sulphuron Crystal was costly because it was the excess energy excreted by the insectoid after they had absorbed natural forces.

A-tier beasts were the pinnacle of existence on earth. One A-tier beast could only be defeated by the collaboration of ten A-tier aptitude users. How many Sulphuron Ants were there with these many Sulphuron Crystals?

Amid his thoughts, the mountain began to quake.

One after another giant head came out from the other side of the mountain. Qin Feng’s usually unmoved expression finally changed.

They were countless Sulphuron Ants swarming toward him.

His consciousness told him there were even more ants crawling out from inside the mountain. There were at least ten thousand of them.

‘Time to go!’

Qin Feng immediately ran without a second thought.

This was not something he could handle alone.

However, the ants refused to let him loose easily. The scent of Sulphuron Crystals lingered around Qin Feng, making him unable to get rid of the pursuing ants easily.

Qin Feng infiltrated their nest and was robbing their reserves. It was unforgivable.

No one would believe that a group of ants could tremble the land. But when the group of ants was the size of a truck convoy, then the scene was truly something to behold.

Qin Feng was forced to turn back into the forest facing such an unstoppable force. The ants had no intention to stop and chased right after him into the forest.

The giant ants trampled the trees and marched on furiously.

“Phantom Shift!”

“Dark Shroud!”

“Shadow Leap!”

Qin Feng tried everything to shake off the ants.

After he ran for a few tens of kilometers, only three Sulphuron Ants were left chasing him. Qin Fen was surprised that they could actually match his full speed.

‘The rest are probably not coming. If that’s the case, I will kill them here.’

Qin Feng drew his Verdant Emperor Saber and turned back to fight.

The Sulphuron Ants were tougher than he expected. They were A2-tier beasts after all.

“Dark Laser!”

“Burning Sword Glare!”

Qin Feng exhausted a large portion of his internal force to finally break the ants’ resilient shells.

He finally put down the last ant.

“Phew!” Qin Feng let out a deep breath looking at the three corpses around him.

‘It’s better to avoid A-tier beasts next time! Man, this is tiring!’

These beasts could resist attacks using internal power with their bodies alone. If not because of the Verdant Emperor Saber’s unique property, it might take more out of Qin Feng to defeat them. He had exhausted a great deal of his internal strength.

Qin Feng owned 560 pools of internal strength but the battle and killing three A-tier beasts already cost him 50 pools. It would be difficult to fully replenish the lost energy if this went on.

‘Eh!?’ Before he could relax, his consciousness caught another approaching beast emperor.
