Chapter 748: A Warning from an S-tier

“Stop chasing after that one. The real one is over here!”

A voice yelled out loudly to the crowd.

It was Liu Hang. He had seen Qin Feng before; so, he knew how to differentiate Qin Feng’s presence. After seeing that Qin Feng had disappeared into thin air, Liu Hang was already suspicious of what was going on. Thus, he quickly emitted his consciousness and spread it out to scan the area; and that was how he was able to lock onto Qin Feng that quickly.

Having fought before, Liu Hang knew just how powerful Qin Feng was. Right now his hand was still wounded; so, he did not dare to go forward to face him head on.

However, even if he could not take on Qin Feng, he could tell others about his whereabouts and have them attack him.

Meanwhile, Guan Jinhau was not able to run too far from the A-tiers. His Phantom Shift was good at creating diversions, which would allow him to escape. This meant that his qinggong was in fact not any faster than the ordinary “Disorienting Steps”; and thus, it was quite difficult for him to outrun all these A-tiers.

After hearing that someone was calling out Qin Feng’s whereabouts, Guan Jinhau too yelled out joyfully, “Yeah! Not here! They’re not here! They’re over there!”

One of the ability users quickly scanned their consciousness at the direction they were pointing at; sure enough, they were able to locate Qin Feng and Bai Li almost instantly.

“He’s there! He’s right there!”

“Hey, boy! Hand the beast deity core over if you want to live!”

This person dashed toward Qin Feng at great speed, almost as fast as a split of lightning!

This person was a lightning ability user!

However, Qin Feng hugged Bai Li’s waist and let out a cold smirk.

“Phantom Shift!”

Even though Qin Feng had just learned about this qinggong, he already knew about the concepts and techniques of the Disorienting Steps. As such, it did not take long for him to master it. To add more, Qin Feng had a lot of powerful internal energy within him; so, it was quite easy for him to activate the qinggong—a martial art that relied a lot on the mastery of internal energy.

Almost instantly, Qin Feng had already zipped too hundreds of miles away! Not only that, he had also left hundreds of mirror images behind that moved toward multiple directions!

Guan Jinhau’s mirror images were created from his Phantom Cape. When he fused his internal energy into it, the cape would create dozens of mirror images for him. However, Qin Feng’s mirror images were created from his own dark runes. They were more in numbers; and their presence felt almost like the real person!

After seeing Qin Feng’s Phantom Shift, Guan Jinhau could not help but to yell out excitedly, “Holy sh*t! What the hell?!”

He could not believe his eyes.

He could not believe that Qin Feng could use this skill only minutes after he first learned it. Not only that, Qin Feng did not have a Phantom Cape. As such, how did Qin Feng do it? Did he just create hundreds of mirror images out of thin air?

And the most shocking thing to Guan Jinhau was…

As soon as the lightning ability user got near to one of the mirror images, the black humanoid silhouette turned back and grabbed him!

“Pfft!”

Then, the other “mirror images” that were nearby dashed toward him with dark shadow-like sabers in their hands and attacked him!

The lightning ability user did not expect this to happen. It was like a split of lightning was diving straight into a pool of black ink! To add more, he noticed that his body was weakened by the shadows around him and could not move as agilely as he usually could.

Pfft!

A saber was stabbed into his abdomen. Then, in a matter of seconds, the wound was torn open rapidly.

“Argh!!”

The lightning ability user’s stomach was completely ripped open, with his intestines completely crushed.

“Lightning Form!!”

The Lightning ability user activated an ability without hesitation. His body morphed into a cloak of thundering clouds and then crackled into multiple lightning zaps in various directions, trying to flee from Qin Feng’s mirror images.

Yet, these shadowy mirror images still kept on lunging at the lightning zaps, like they were performing rounds after rounds of kamikaze attacks.

A few moments later, several lightning zaps were completely taken out, leaving only one small lightning ball left.

Pzzt!

In a blink of an eye, the lightning ball morphed back into a human. The lightning ability user’s mouth was bleeding; a huge hole was ripped open in his stomach.

As he tried to flee away, the ability user kept unleashing lightning zaps to defend himself against the shadowy mirror images. Yet, this did not stop them at all!

Pfft!

A shadowy saber had cut down the ability user’s head.

Despite being an A-tier, he was no match against Qin Feng’s mirror images.

Right now, Qin Feng looked more like a fearsome killer than Guan Jinhau—he was able to use the Phantom Shift and kill an S-tier!

After burning the lightning ability user to ash, Qin Feng turned briefly to collect his spatial ring and then left.

As for the others, all they could do was stand and watch. After taking a deep breath, they quickly got blinded again with greed.

“Wait. That guy… the guy who got killed was the leader of the Eagle Hunter Guild!”

“His wealth is about 30 billion power credits, right?”

“This means that… that kid has robbed every cent of it by killing him!”

“Let’s kill him! Then, we’ll divide the loot!”

Thus, they quickly gave chase. They did not stop to think about the consequences at all. Deep down, they believed that they would be the ones who were lucky enough to not be killed by Qin Feng.

However, they did not dare to dash toward the direction of Qin Feng’s shadowy mobs.

As they were trying to give chase from a different direction, suddenly loud thunder could be heard from the middle of the Dark Citadel before a gigantic black dragon rose up to the sky.

“Leave my island!”

A loud, deafening voice thundered in the area!

Qin Feng took a glance at the Black Dragon Boulder. It was a unique building that was built as a unique rune mechanism. When there was any fierce battle happening on the island, the Black Dragon Boulder would be activated to release that loud yell!

A loud yell from an S-tier!

This yell was a warning—a warning that this island did not belong to any lowly schmuck. In fact, it belonged to an S-tier ability user.

Even though the A-tier ability users were large in number, they did not dare to offend the S-tier ability user.

“Sh*t! This is that S-tier’s island!”

“I wonder if he’s on the island at the moment…”

“What do we do now? Do we just let that kid go?”

“Hey, look! he’s fleeing out of the island!”

The A-tiers then quickly gave chase again.

Qin Feng scoffed and turned back toward them. If they wanted a fight, he would give them one. Even though Qin Feng’s tier did not ascend when he came back from the Amazon Alliance, his internal energy had tripled.

He was no longer an ordinary B-tier that needed to carefully calculate his moves when facing seven A-tiers.

Also, his newly improved Verdant Emperor Saber and Bai Li were enough to help him to remain undefeated when facing these greedy A-tiers.

Whoosh!

Several shadowy mirror images were still moving about. Even though the A-tiers did not know where Qin Feng had gone to, they knew that these mirror images could not stay far from the original—this meant that Qin Feng was still moving about with these mirror images.

A few moments later, Qin Feng had finally flown to the ocean. Right now, he was in relative safety—away from the Dark Citadel.

And the number of A-tiers that were tailing him seemed to have also increased in the last few minutes.
