Chapter 609: Radiant Queen

Endless waves of attacks did not harm Qin Feng in the slightest . Countless Dino Bees kept swarming down from above, ramming their bodies—ones that were as huge as small dinosaurs at Qin Feng .

However, Qin Feng’s internal energy was quite powerful . Thus, naturally his energy shield was quite sturdy too . The bees’ attacks could not leave a dent on his shield at all . Instead, these bees were ramming at him so hard that their wings were torn off . This was what Qin Feng wanted though—to lure the bees down and render them immobile .

The Dino Bees, despite having lost their wings, kept climbing up and crawled toward Qin Feng, seemingly determined to kill him .

“Magma Skill!”

In an instant, a huge carpet of magma burped out of the ground in front of Qin Feng . In less than a minute, the ground had turned burning red .

“Go!”

Magma burst off into the sky, like a massive tsunami .

Booom!!

Loud explosion could be heard as another pillar of magma burst off behind the first magma pillar—this one went so high that it struck most of the Dino Bees that were swarming above in the sky .

Pulling out his Verdant Emperor Saber, Qin Feng dashed forward to take on the C-tier beast king .

Standing atop two hovercrafts, Bai Li slayed all the Dino Bees that dared to come her way . As minutes went by, there was a hill of Dino Bees’ scaffolded corpses next to the hovercrafts .

Qin Feng, on the other hand, was fighting with his foes furiously .

“Bzzzzzz!”

As the bees flapped their wings furiously, loud buzzing noises screeched into everyone’s ears . Not only that, they could also smell a hint of fragrance . In that instant, Bai Li’s eyes widened with joy . In the middle of the beehive, she saw an extremely beautiful Dino Bee, one that stood out from the rest of the bees, flying out .

This one looked much smaller than the rest of the bees; but its body seemed to be covered in a layer of gold . Gold and platinum trims could be seen on its body as it buzzed its golden wings .

“Bzzzz!”

Golden ray sparkled out of the bee’s body and shone on the injured Dino Bees below . Suddenly, as though by miracle, these bees’ wounds had all healed up . Even their long, spear-like venom stingers had grown back too!

This one was the queen bee—the Radiant Queen!

Although she was known as a “queen bee”, her rank and designation had reached beast emperor rank, not a beast king . She was called a “queen” because back in the days when humans first encountered and researched them, they labelled the leader of the hive as “queen” .

As the queen bee, her strength was quite formidable . In fact, when her golden ray hit Qin Feng, he felt as though his skin was being burned as his energy shield began to deplete steadily—as though a bucket of energy acid had been poured onto his energy shield .

“Bai Li, I’ll leave this to you . The others! Do your best to stay alive!”

“Wokay! Here I come!”

Bai Li leaped into the air, seemingly not using much power at all; yet, in just one leap, she had jumped across a dozen meters! And all the Dino Bees that tried to block her were all slayed by her .

As for Qin Feng, he kept on slashing and slashing his Verdant Emperor Saber to slay every insectoid that escaped the magma .

“Get down! Get ready, guys!”

Yuan Xiaoguang had regained his composure now . In fact, he wanted to join the battle too—watching Qin Feng and Bai Li taking on the Dino Bees was an extremely uplifting experience . Yet, he knew he could not head out and aid them . He was too weak to be of any help .

Nonetheless, with his wood-type powers, he could still take on a few of these dreaded bees for a short while .

As though reacting to his command, a massive tree grew up from the dried ground and circled up all six of them in the middle, covering up and hiding their presence from the bees .

And it worked . The Dino Bees stopped attacking them .

“Sir, could you open up a small window for us . We’d like to see what’s happening out there!”

“Yeah, come on! Show us what’s going on out there!”

The others eagerly nodded as they urged Yuan Xiaoguang to let them see what was happening outside of the tree barrier .

“Certainly!”

Well, Yuan Xiaoguang too wanted to watch the fight . As such, he ordered the tree to form 6 small holes so they could see what was going on out there . If the other aptitude users were to see this, they might laugh at their cowardice . Yet, to these 6 men right now, the only thing they were interested in now was whether Qin Feng and Bai Li could defeat the bees out there .

“To be honest, I didn’t think that things would turn out this way . ”

“Yeah, even if those two can’t defeat them, at least they destroyed their hive!”

“Geez, that’s one hive, man . This thing is worth about five trillion, right?”

Then, the five E-tier aptitude users started to sigh in admiration .

As for Yuan Xiaoguang, his doubt from earlier was now totally gone . He was now sure of it .

“This is it . We could take out those Blight Butterflies because of these two . You should know… the butterflies’ king was much more powerful than the Dino Bees’ Radiant Queen . So, I suppose it’s going to be a piece of cake for them this time too!”

“Holy crap! Just who are these two? I have never heard of them!”

“Yeah, and they look so young too!”

Right now, Qin Feng did not know what these people were doing . He did not know just how much respect Yuan Xiaoguang had for him right now too . All he knew was that these men had now retreated to safety; so, he could give it his all to take on these monsters .

Due to the bombardment earlier, there actually were not many Dino Bees left . At most, there were only about two thousand bees left . Of course, there were also the wounded ones lying on the ground .

Now that their queen had joined the battle, these bees seemed to have regained their courage as they flew up to rejoin the fight . Even Qin Feng’s magma did not seem to do much to hold them off now .

“Return!”

As he pinched his conscious energy, the magma instantly retreated back underground . The ground had turned from burning red to scorched black in a few seconds .

“Heh, let’s see if you can come back to life this time?”

Two pairs of blue, fiery wings burst out behind Qin Feng’s back as he rose to the sky .

“Burning Sword Glare!”

In just one slash, five Dino Bees were cut in half mid-air before falling to the ground and to their deaths .

Qin Feng kept on slashing and slashing . With each slash, more and more bees got diced and fell down from the sky .

In less than a minute, a small hill of bee corpses started to form below .

As Qin Feng’s attack grew stronger and fiercer, the Dino Bees’ number steadily dropped .

The ones that were hiding in the Colossal Tree could do nothing but stare at what was happening, for the whole four hours .

Meanwhile, Bai Li was already standing lazily near them . It was evident that the Radiant Queen was dead too .

Qin Feng struck out his last attack and slaughtered the last of the Dino Bees .

It was a four-hour slaughter . Not a “fight’—it was a slaughter .

If it were the others, they would have been overwhelmed by these Dino Bees in under five minutes . Qin Feng’s energy shield did not crack at all even after withstanding the bees’ attacks for four hours .

This young man was insanely powerful .

“Alright, guys . All clear! Come on out! Time to gather the materials . Be careful now! Don’t get stung by their stingers . If you see any one of these still moving, give them the last blow too!”

As Yuan Xiaoguang and the others came out from the Colossal Tree, they were so shocked when they saw just how many insectoid corpses there were on the ground .

These were all money! Uncountable amount of money littered on the ground!

Despite being a C-tier, Yuan Xiaoguang too felt as though his head was spinning from seeing so many insectoid corpses around him .

When he decided to tag along, Yuan Xiaoguang was curious if what he witnessed before was just a hallucination from the Blight Butterflies’ pollen . Even if it was hallucination, he was certain that he could aid Qin Feng with his wood-type powers .

Well, he was able to aid him—by collecting all the insectoid corpses with the tree roots…

As for the other members, they were overjoyed .
