The next morning, birds were chirping and hopping around on the tree branches outside of the mountain cave . A squirrel ran down the pine tree beside the mountain cave to pick up fallen fruit at the cave entrance, but it was startled by the sounds coming from inside the cave and scuttled back up the tree .

The sounds of footsteps rang out, then Yan Liqiang and Selena emerged from the mountain cave .

Yan Liqiang got up a lot later than usual, compared to when he was training alone . Needless to say, sleeping in for a few more hours occasionally wasn’t that bad at all .

Yan Liqiang’s face was glowing and he was grinning mischievously . Beside him, Selena’s gorgeous face was tinged with red .

In his great mood, Yan Liqiang only realized that it was a lovely spring day at the valley he’d been training in . He took in a deep breath of fresh air in the valley, then grabbed Selena’s slender waist and asked, “Nana, in which direction is the Great Moon Tribe?”

After a night together, Yan Liqiang had started calling Selena by an endearing name .

Selena observed the sun’s location and the valley terrain . “Mount Jade Dragon is vast and we’re in the deeper parts where people rarely set foot . Our Great Moon Tribe is probably this way…” Selena pointed to the east . “If we go in this direction, I’ll know where to go once we reach a more familiar location…”

“Great, hold on tight then!” As soon as Yan Liqiang finished speaking, he embraced Selena and soared high up into the sky . Yan Liqiang stepped on the precipitous cliffs and sped in the direction Selena pointed to with lightning speed .

Strong wind blew against Selena’s face . She could feel Yan Liqiang’s powerful arms and the terrifying speed they were moving at . The heroic feeling of traversing across the cliffs and having everything beneath your feet brought excitement to Selena . She couldn’t help but wrap her arms tighter around him and lay her head against his shoulder . She moved her lips closer to Yan Liqiang’s ear, then gently whispered against the howling wind . “Brother Long…”

With a beauty in his arms while sprinting, Yan Liqiang responded, “What’s wrong?”

“Will you stay on Mount Jade Dragon?”

“I may not stay too long on Mount Jade Dragon . It’ll only be another two months at most because I still have other things to attend to!”

“Will we see each other again after you escort me back to the Great Moon Tribe?”

“As long as fate wills it to be so, we shall meet again even at the end of the world!”

“Does Brother Long think we are fated?”

“Fate lies in the heart . As long as you will it, so will fate!” Yan Liqiang looked at the lush mountains beneath his feet and a strange smile appeared on his face . He didn’t know much about the Mount Jade Dragon before he came here . Now that he was here and had met Selena, he realized that there was more to this place than what met the eye through the information he gathered from her .

The ancient proverb: ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend’ was the most accurate way to describe their battle with the Shatu people . Since they were plotting something against the Mount Jade Dragon, then Yan Liqiang shouldn’t let them do whatever they pleased here .

“Selena knows that Brother Long is a man capable of great things . There’s a saying in our Great Moon Tribe that the skylarks will never get in the way of the male eagles just to fly with them . I shall be content to know that Brother Long will remember me when you return to Mount Jade Dragon next time!” Selena let out a soft sigh beside his ear .

“I feel that I am deeply connected to this place through fate . I shall visit more often in the future!”

Upon hearing Yan Liqiang’s words, a sweet smile appeared on Selena’s face before she planted a big kiss on his cheek .

Yan Liqiang traveled very quickly on his feet . In just less than half an hour, Selena started yelling excitedly in his arms . She pointed to a waterfall that was gushing down from the snow on the mountain peak like white silk under the sunlight .

“That’s the Thousand Feet Waterfall, Brother Long! If we go along the mountain ridge and go across the mountain, we will reach the Great Moon Tribe’s settlement!”

“Great!” Yan Liqiang continued dashing in the direction Selena pointed to . Just when he was going to cross the mountain that she mentioned, a black column of smoke suddenly rose into the sky .
