The Great Ruler Chapter 1546 – The Attacks of the Demons

As the battle raged on, the struggles continued. On both sides, the number of casualties was mounting.

Several people shouted, while all of the top powers in the continent shot into the sky and a majestic spiritual energy spread throughout the area. In the face of such a dire situation, all of the forces in the continent had to put aside their grudges and join forces to fight against their enemies.

The top powers from the Great Thousand World and the Extraterritorial Race were awe-inspiring. When they fought against each other, violent fluctuations burst out in every direction. The entire continent soon descended into chaos.

At the same time, cracks appeared in the Great Thousand World as the space were torn apart. Many top powers from the Extraterritorial Race dashed into the Great Thousand World, trying to create further chaos. As such, the inner region of the Great Thousand World was thrown into its own war as well.

Many people were standing in a towering palace as the Extraterritorial Race invaded the inner region of the Great Thousand World. All of them exuded powerful spiritual energy fluctuations. Their faces turned pale when they saw the screen in the air, as they could clearly see that several continents had already been attacked by the Extraterritorial Race.

“Patrol teams, listen up! Gather your team and wipe out the Extraterritorial Race from behind!” an elder with white hair shouted.

At the moment, two people were standing at the front of the hall, looking quite grim. The one standing at the forefront was an elder, who had white hair, and the other was a very good-looking man. Their gazes were sharp as they looked at the people around them.

Although everyone at the hall was a top power in the Great Thousand World, none of them showed any displeasure when they were commanded by the two men, who were presently passing them instructions.

One of the pair was the Flame Emperor’s teacher, and the other one was the sworn brother of Martial Ancestor. Needless to say, both of these men enjoyed very high statuses.

They were none other than Yao Chen and Lin Diao. Currently, they had assumed the positions of Commander and Deputy Commander and had been charged with taking care of the flank so that the rest of the army could focus on dealing with the enemies at the forefront.

“Team number 30…” Yao Chen looked at the three ladies in the hall and said, “Luo Li will be the captain, while Xiao Xiao and Lin Jing will be the vice captains. Gather your men and head toward the northwest region. Once you get there, drive out those demons!”

“Yes!” Luo Li shouted.

As she held her sword in her hand, her delicate face was shining and radiant. Many of the top powers who were still in the hall glanced secretly at her. They were absolutely mesmerized by her.

After all, she was an outstanding lady, who captivated everyone. However, it was a pity that she had already found someone to love.

As Xiao Xiao and Lin Jing cupped their fists and waited to receive their instructions, they looked excited. Apparently, they had been waiting for this moment a long time.

She then turned her head to look at Lin Jing and Xiao Xiao and said, “We shall deal with the three Demon Emperors ourselves. Let the rest of our men split up to help defend the cities.”

“Okay!” Lin Jing immediately nodded, while a cold look appeared on Xiao Xiao’s face.

“Yes!” The rest of the team members immediately responded in unison.

“Act now!” After Luo Li shouted this command, a hundred shadows shot out immediately.

At the same time, Luo Li took also shot into the sky. In less than 10 minutes, she had spied the most powerful Demon Emperor in the entire continent.

The Demon Emperor was a Dark Demon Emperor, whose strength was comparable to a God Grade Heavenly Sovereign’s. Given his strength, no one in the continent could possibly take him on. His face had a savage look on it. It was clear that he wanted to capture her!

Although the Ancient Diagram made him feel that he was in great danger, Luo Li did not seem that powerful. So, he thought as long as he could capture her, he would be able to get escape this dire situation.

Suddenly, the Dark Demon Emperor turned into several Demonic Shadows. At the same time, he clapped his hands, causing a sticky Demonic Energy Stream to whiz toward Luo Li.

Luo Li looked at the scene in the sky. The spiritual energy of the Great Spirit Ancient Diagram was overflowing and filling the sky.

Even a master at the initial stage of the Divine Heavenly Sovereign level would have a problem dealing with it. Thus, it was impossible for a Dark Demon Emperor to contend with it!

After the top powers from the Extraterritorial Race saw that the Dark Demon Emperor had been killed, they were shocked and tried to escape. The top powers from the Great Thousand World, who had been trapped in the city earlier, took advantage of this opportunity and rushed out to pursue the Extraterritorial Race.

After the situation had been stabilized, Luo Li waved at the top powers. She then led them to another continent that had just been attacked by the demons.

During the next two weeks, the team that had been formed by Luo Li, Lin Jing, and Xiao Xiao was like a team of firemen. They went around to all of the battlefields to help chase out the demons!

Under the trio’s stellar leadership, the team managed to destroy all of the demons in the most demon-stricken regions. However, inevitably, just as one demon-stricken region had been dealt with, new demons would appear in another region!

The wind blew across the continent, which was in ruins. Even the mountain range had collapsed. The entire area looked as though it was the end of the world.

At the moment, Luo Li stood on a mountain peak, while the wind blew on her face. As she looked at the devastated area post-battle, her face became grim.

The area had been badly damaged by the demons. By the time they had rushed over to save the day, so many dead bodies were already piled up, and many of their top powers had already been seriously injured. Needless to say, Luo Li and her team had a tough time of it before they finally managed to suppress the demons.

“Captain, the Extraterritorial Race has finally been chased out!” Luo Li heard a voice coming from behind her, and she turned to see Lin Jing and Xiao Xiao rushing over to her.

The two ladies, especially Lin Jing, had changed drastically after these last two weeks of battle. Lin Jing no longer had an innocent look on her face, as it had been replaced with a look of fierce killing intent. After all, in the past two weeks, they had both killed many Demon Emperors!

“This has been hard on you,” Luo Li said to the pair.

For the past two weeks, they had been rushing around non-stop, and even Luo Li could hardly take it. Needless to say, Xiao Xiao and Lin Jing looked quite tired.

“Do you want to rest for a bit?” Luo Li asked.

Xiao Xiao shook her head, then looked at Luo Li and said softly, “I don’t think we have the time for that…”

“Why? Has another region been attacked by the demons?” Luo Li asked.

Lin Jing nodded.

“Where?” Luo Li asked as she raised her brows. Although she was tired, she instantly perked up and was alert.

Xiao Xiao and Lin Jing looked at each other, then Lin Jing said, “In the Northern Heavens Continent. We heard that the area has been attacked by the demons, placing the current inhabitants in quite a perilous situation!”

“The Northern Heavens Continent!” Luo Li exclaimed. She was stunned when she heard this news. She then squinted her eyes and clenched her fists.

Her face looked fierce as she cried out, “On no! They are attacking Northern Heaven Spiritual Academy!”
