Of course, Gao Peng wouldn’t be able to see the articles and the comments. In fact, he wouldn’t have been bothered even if he had seen them.
This was merely a group of people who had jumped on a bandwagon, and also forums and media that craved the public’s attention. All their efforts were spent on earning views and comments online. Hence, they always favored the more controversial articles.
When Stripey went through the Spatial Rift and arrived at the Desolate Labyrinth, it suddenly felt a mysterious force acting on its body, holding it down. By the time Gao Peng turned around, he saw that Stripey’s height had been reduced by half.
Its height was accurately 65 feet, not exceeding this even a bit, and it was the exact same height as the walls around them. Gao Peng gasped at the terrifying yet creepy scene as Stripey’s body size and height were reduced so significantly.
“Gao Peng, I’m fine. I only find it a little difficult to breathe,” Stripey muttered.
So, being tall will affect your breathing, Flowing Light thought in relief. Luckily, I’m not tall.
Desolion was startled, too. This was its first time hearing about this. There weren’t many monsters that were taller than 65 feet. While monsters wider than 65 feet were somewhat common, those taller than that were extremely rare.
“Aren’t you the owner of the labyrinth? I think you’re a fake,” Gao Peng teased.
“I didn’t make the labyrinth. It was here before I was!” Stripey complained.
Gao Peng led Stripey as they made one turn after another inside the Desolate Labyrinth before they finally left the via the exit. The moment they left the labyrinth, Stripey expanded abruptly and returned to its normal size, like a suppressed spring that had been released, rapidly returning to its original shape.
“Where do we go now?” When the words faded, they were overwhelmed by a massive elemental wave. The intense Air of Death formed a gray river and rushed toward them like a wave. The Air of Death was everywhere. The only difference was its intensity in different regions.

“Don’t get too close.” Gao Peng ordered the other familiars to stay away from Dumby.
Dumby had left Xiao Hua on Goldie’s shoulder when it noticed the unusual behavior before the others. Hanging on Goldie’s neck like a koala, Xiao Hua stared at Goldie’s bald head, stupefied.
Under the sunlight, Goldie’s head was coated with a layer of colorful oil. It resembled a huge, beaming light bulb.
With both its fists clenched, Dumby lowered its head. The Air of Death around it was turning into a Death Storm. The gray storm was swirling at a high speed mercilessly. Every plant at the border of the area that came in touch with the dense Air of Death wilted immediately.
Five hundred miles away, there was a valley. It was a red valley, with red soil covering the slopes on both sides. From far away, the ground seemed to be soaked in blood. Scarce grass grew on the slopes stubbornly.
There was a lake lying in the middle of the valley. The surface of the lake looked like a mirror. There was a big black python of a length that no one was able to justify lying on the shore of the lake. A small part of its body and its head were lying on the shore, enjoying the sun, while the rest of the python’s body was dipped inside the lake.
The entire sky of the Black Fog World was red. The blood-like sunlight shone on the scales of the black python and coated them with a blood-red hue.
The python briefly sniffled. Its eyes that were initially shut were now open and formed slits as it looked to the east coldly. It seemed to have sensed that a monster was breaking through to the Emperor tier.
A hint of hatred showed in its eyes. Someone has the guts to break through right under my nose? It seems like I’ll have another great meal today.
The black python opened its enormous mouth nonchalantly as its maroon tongue licked the corner of its lips.
Rustle… A loud sound of movement could be heard. A deep trench was left on the ground from the friction.
The 23 ghouls, who were led by the Amorphic Hell Tree, were standing firmly at the edge of the Death Storm, the intense Air of Death continuously flooding their bodies.

The Air of Death was harmful to most creatures. However, it was different for them, as it was a very nutritious substance for them. Moreover, a Death Storm that was initiated by Dumby’s evolution was especially favorable for them.
“A strong monster is on its way,” Desolion said in a low voice as it turned around to look to the west.
A gigantic black shadow was approaching them without pause. As the shadow came closer, Gao Peng realized that it was an enormous black python. Indeed, the big guy was being attracted to them. Gao Peng flinched a little.
[Monster Name]: Black Flame Rock Python
[Monster Level]: Level 64
[Monster Grade]: Normal
[Monster Attribute]: Stone/Flame
[Monster Weakness]: Water
[Monster Ability]: Magical Rock Scale Level 5, Strong Muscle Level 5, Earth’s Power Level 3, Sharp Buckteeth Level 2, Fire Elemental Resistance Level 3, Earth Elemental Resistance Level 3
[Monster Description]: The Black Flame Rock Python can reach King-tier after reaching adulthood. A small number of elites can reach the Emperor tier at adulthood. They are greedy and gluttonous in nature.
Its gigantic body was bigger than a train. It accelerated as it saw Dumby, who was leveling up.
Gao Peng and the rest, who were standing beside it, had been completely ignored. They were just ants who had barely hit King tier, and the python could consume them at any time.
It wanted to consume its most menacing prey during the prey’s crucial time of evolution. The Black Flame Rock Python’s eyes were filled with greed. It knew that the defense system of the prey was the weakest at this moment.
Ghouls weren’t its favorite food, as they were thin and bony, and its stomach would be upset, but it had been starving and couldn’t be bothered.
I’ll take the bones as a supplement.
“Phew…” A creepy sigh escaped the Death Storm. All the monsters were scared by it.
A vague silhouette appeared from the Death Storm. Many of the familiars couldn’t even detect the silhouette with their eyes.
Dumby landed steadily on the top of Black Flame Rock Python’s head before its five fingers penetrated through the python’s scalp. “Bone Prison White Lotus.”
Dumby closed the gap between its fingers. The next second, the python shivered briefly, and a weary groan escaped from its bones. It could feel the movement of the bones inside its body, as though they were no longer under its control. It quickly focused to wrestle against this unsettling feeling.
There was another weird and unexplainable idea in its head. It felt fortunate that all its bones were in its spine, and they were all made of cartilage. The next moment, it felt an intense pain in its abdomen, as if something had dug out of the ground and pierced through its body from underneath.
Finally, it understood what was happening. It stared at the ground as it continued to crack and, one after another, sharp bones penetrated through the cracks. Bone spurs of different heights could be seen sporadically popping up close to each other. There was no proper order to it.
In a blink of an eye, the whole area turned into a hell made of bone spurs.
The python felt constant pain in its abdomen. It intended to move, but it was held still by the bone spurs that had pierced through its abdomen, firmly pinning it to the ground.
Dumby squatted on the top of the Black Flame Rock Python’s head. The bone spurs expanded to the radius of a 3,300 feet, with the python at the center. From a bird’s view, a gigantic white bone lotus was blossoming on the ground…
The Black Flame Python was surrounded by the blossoming white bone lotus. Suddenly, the petals of the white bone flower started to close inwards.
The bone spurs were drenched in fresh blood. The gruesome but beautiful blood ran down the bone spurs and dripped on the ground. The white and the red formed a beautiful scene on the field.
Goldie’s mouth opened, and its eyes widened. Meanwhile, Xiao Hua, who was hanging onto its neck, began to slide down. In the mayhem, Goldie quickly scrambled to hug Xiao Hua tightly.
