Lei Yun was scorned in his entire way towards the dungeon inside the Spirit Pagoda by the entire Spirit Race, who was there just to scorn him!
Yi Tianyun could feel the hate emanated from them, even though Lei Yun was of the same race as them, he was still the one who advocated the betrayal of many Spirit Race to the Netherworld Empire.
Yi Tianyun had thought that he would have to kill all of the intruders that day, but it seemed Lei Yun had to be judged according to his crime, so Yi Tianyun let it slide.
As Ye Qingxuan reached the Spirit Pagoda, she threw Lei Yun inside the hall and once again pushed him forcefully.
The elders who were standing by on the Spirit Pagoda’s hall saw Lei Yun with anger on their eyes.
Elder Yan soon came forward and asked Lei Yun angrily while also activating his aura about the truth regarding their imprisoned people and the Old Ancestor!
Lei Yun, who had his cultivation core destroyed, couldn’t stand Elder Yan’s pressuring Spiritual Energy, knelt on the floor in humiliation, but he surely wouldn’t let them satisfied with anything!
“It’s impossible. I don’t know anything about what the Netherworld Empire had done to them in that prison. But I know that there will be nothing good happened inside the prison and that the Old Ancestor is probably already dead after so much interrogation and Soul-Searching Technique that been done to him! The Spirit Race Prison Key isn’t even inside that prison! General Long held it!” Lei Yun said while laughing deliriously.
Ye Qingxuan frowned after hearing Lei Yun’s word; she knew that the weakest General Long would be 9th Level Core Transformation Stage, which meant some of them were even in the Void Spirit Stage! She didn’t have the power to beat someone like that!

“You have no power to fight against that kind of expert! Just give it up and join the Netherworld Empire! This would be your final opportunity!” Lei Yun said while smiling crazily.
“If you didn’t join them now after they learn of what happens today, the General Long would be coming here in no time! You all will burn with all your pride and stupidity!” Lei Yun said while laughing out loud.
The elder of the Spirit Race become scared as they were afraid that what Lei Yun said was real!
But Yi Tianyun quickly slapped Lei Yun to shut him up and raised the morale of the Spirit Race.
“Would you mind if I injure him some more? Or maybe it was better to kill this trash?” Yi Tianyun said indifferently.
“That wouldn’t be necessary, Master Yi. We will imprison him within the Ice Boundary so that he could feel the freezing pain until his death!” Ye Qingxuan said coldly.
At the same time, Lei Yun’s complexion had changed, it seemed that he knew the horror of that place, so Yi Tianyun chose to shut up for the time being.
Lei Yun began to mumble and scream as the guards began to drag him to the Ice Boundary, as Ye Qingxuan requested!
Lei Yun’s struggle was a wasteful action as he didn’t have his Spiritual Core any longer, which made him look like a struggling kid with no chance of escaping!
“You all will die! Spirit Race would be destroyed after all this! I am the only one who can lead this cursed race to salvation! You’re all making a big mistake!” Lei Yun desperately said as he was being dragged to a deeper part of the Spirit Pagoda.
Ye Qingxuan ignored Lei Yun’s word as she knew that as long as the Spirit Race tried their hardest, there was no way the Netherworld Empire could destroy them!

“Saintess, we should fortify our defenses! The Netherworld Empire will definitely send many experts here as they don’t receive any report after this attack!” Elder Yan said seriously.
“We still had time to worry about those things; we need to make plans on saving the Old Ancestor first! They couldn’t hold out any longer! How can we save them when we didn’t have the key to save them!” Ye Qingxuan said seriously.
“This key thing that you are talking about, I think I have it!” Yi Tianyun said embarrassedly.

This is the life of the man, a life of no importance. At the impulse of desiring food, he left his small and cramped apartment. Regretting his actions immediately, he was left with the prospect of a complete panic attack due to the numerous amount of people outside at that day. However, he pressed on, determined to find some sort of delicious food to consume. Life had other plans for him. He gets hit by a car, and after hearing strange words from an even stranger voice, he dies. However, minutes, hours, maybe even days later, he awakes, his senses of smell, sight, and hearing robbed of him. Author's Note: This is my first story on Royal Road, so it might not be the best. Although, I hope you enjoy! I'll probably write around 2000 words or more per chapter, but on average a bit more. If you're wondering, the cover art is drawn by me, just in case you thought I wasn't giving credit to the creator.This story might often times lean more into the comedy side of things, but stuff can still get pretty serious at times, especially in the later chapters. The story isn't super dark or anything, but character death is of course going to be a thing. Who? Well, you'll find out, eventually. Also, I'll upload chapters on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I hope it makes for a fun read. Place: Eoroth, a vast, flat world with many continents set in oceans that reach out and mingle with the Celestial Sea. Our story takes place on the continent of Thalion in the middle, unsettled region called Midthalion. Peoples: Races in Eoroth aren't different species; the species of man is just incredibly diverse, consisting of many known races (and perhaps some unknown). There are no humans in Thalion. Thalion's races include variations of elves, dwarves, halflings (billowits), pierros (clownish men), bergeracs (long-nosed and swarthy men of honour), orcs, trolls, goblins, and hobgobs. The Church: There's one dominant religion in Westhalion. The faith of the elves is an analogue to Roman Catholicism while the dwarves practice an Eastern Orthodox analogue. (Forgive me for not having figured out names yet.) The practitioners worship a triune god (the All-Father, Son-of-All, and Holy Light). There are many powers in heaven, all created by God. These include the Twelve High Thrones, individual, created beings who take on the role of guiding mankind in different aspects, drawing them closer and closer to God. (That should be the essentials. I could write pages on the theology. Comment where something's unclear in the story.) Natural World: There are plants and animals in Eoroth, but the world is also inhabited by spirits called aeons. Aeons are transformative beings; in the wild, they'll change based on whatever is happening nearby. Pollute a pond? Expect to see toxic toad-men running around. Leave a bunch of dead bodies strewn across a battlefield? Expect the place to become haunted with ghouls and ghasts. Druids are important for making sure that the aeons are pacified; that their needs are met so that they don't become rampaging monsters. Where the wilderness becomes overgrown, so too do the aeons. Aeons and People: Long ago, men learned how to trap aeons in stone tablets and use them for war. Now, anyone can capture an aeon into a special staff made by a druid. Men train, raise, and bond with these aeons. Druids often build entire ranches devoted to raising healthy aeons as allies and companions. Aeons are divided into twelve known families, and the church sees these as corresponding with the Twelve Thrones in Heaven. Direction: My goal is to get the story to one million words by June next year. I have tons of content in mind for the world. I want to release novels set in different ages of the world depicting different historical events. I hope to expand the setting into a tabletop role-playing game as well as a series of old-school JRPGs. But, it all begins with writing some stories and publishing my novels.
