Chapter 92: Kindest Elder Brother
Chapter 92 – Kindest Elder Brother
Opening his eyes, Chen Yu stared at Little Peach in a daze momentarily . Immediately afterward, he turned to look at the Spiral Ascending Aircraft sitting in a corner of his room .
“Yeah, why didn’t I host additional livestreams for points?”
Little Peach: “Yeah . ”
Chen Yu: “Yeah . ”
“Yeah!” x2
Jumping out of bed, Chen Yu walked up to the Spiral Ascending aircraft and picked it up . He then carefully packed it back into its white box and resealed the box .
“Let’s review this thing . The marketing staff previously already said that aside from the monthly official livestreams, I can also purchase additional products to conduct reviews . I can’t believe I failed to realize that additional livestreams can also earn additional points! What a mistake!”
“Are you going to livestream now?”
“It’s early in the morning right now . There won’t be many people watching it . We’ll host the livestream tomorrow night,” Chen Yu said . He then set the box aside and visited the Transdimensional Store page through his watch .
Currently, it was already past midnight, so the store should’ve been updated already .
Previously, as he had only one point remaining, he did not dare visit the store page . Now, however, not only did he visited the store page, but he was even prepared to make a shopping plan .
Unfortunately…
…
[Transdimensional Store Recommended Products (Refreshes at midnight every day . )]
[Sorry, but your current points are only sufficient to pay the minimum tax . They are not enough to purchase any products . The store will temporarily stop refreshing . ]
Chen Yu: “…”
“Damnit! Are you looking down on the poor?!”
Exiting the store page, Chen Yu angrily laid back onto his bed . Grumbling, he demanded, “Hypnotize me . I’m going to sleep . ”
“Yes, sir!” Hurriedly raising the Hypnosis Rattle, Little Peach asked, “What scene do you want?”
“The imperial palace . I want to have a sumptuous feast displayed before me and have concubines entwined around me . ”
Little Peach: “…”
“Hurry up . ”
After a moment of silence, Little Peach expressionlessly raised the rattle and shook it three times .
Ding, ring .
Ding, ring .
Ding, ring .
After the ringing ended, Chen Yu fell into a semi-conscious state .
“You, are in a magnificent palace . Many eunuchs serve you…”

Chen Yu’s eyeballs rapidly moved, and he vaguely mumbled, “The palace… The eunuchs… Where… Where are the concubines…”
“At your command, the concubines have arrived,” Little Peach said while giving the rattle another shake . She then started talking nonsense, “They are walking in a neat line . Every one of them possesses handsome and muscular features . ”
“Co-Concubines aren’t…aren’t men…”
“The concubines are men . It is because you are the empress!” Little Peach said, shaking the rattle .
“N-No…” Chen Yu’s body started trembling intensely, his eyelids struggling to open .
“Fine, then . We’ll change the scene . You are the emperor! Under your command, the female concubines have come! They’re lined up in a neat line as they walk up to your side . Every one of them looks like a wolf with a fat belly . ”
“N-No… Something isn’t…right…” Chen Yu’s body started trembling once more .
“Nothing’s wrong . You are going to sleep now . Sleep well . Fall into a deep sleep . When you wake up tomorrow, you will forget all of this ever happened . ”
“N-No…”
“Go to sleep . ”
“…”
“Go to sleep . ”
“Sleep…”
“Go to sleep!”
Little Peach frantically shook the rattle, forcing Chen Yu into a deep sleep and preventing him from putting up any more resistance…
…
Buzz… Buzz…
The next morning, Chen Yu awoke to the buzzing of his phone .
As he dazedly opened his eyes, his consciousness gradually returned to him .
“Good morning, Mr . Chen,” Little Peach said, beaming a smile at Chen Yu while her fingers tapped away at the keyboard .
“I think I had a nightmare…” Clutching his head, Chen Yu said, “But I can’t seem to remember anything about it . ”
“You must be too tired . Why don’t you rest at home today and I’ll go to school in your place?”
“…No need . ”
Giving his face a rub, Chen Yu got out of bed and changed into a fresh set of clothes . He then went to the bathroom to wash up before sitting on the living room’s sofa and falling into a daze .
Just what kind of nightmare did I have? Why do I have no memory of it at all?
Perplexed, Chen Yu subconsciously picked up Chen Sanke’s gold-plated feeding bottle, unscrewed its lid, and took a sip of the goat milk contained inside .
“Hm?”
Smacking his lips, Chen Yu found the goat milk’s taste to be slightly strange . Lowering his head, he immediately noticed small bits of red floating on the milk’s surface .

This is . . chili?
Chen Yu was stunned .
How ruthless! To prevent others from stealing your milk, you actually put chili into it?! Doesn’t that mean you can’t drink it yourself either?
However, after getting over his initial shock, Chen Yu shook the bottle around slightly before emptying the whole bottle into his belly .
The small chunks of chili inside the milk might be too much for a child to handle, but for Chen Yu, who had grown up eating spicy bars, the heat they provided was utterly negligible .
Gulp .
After swallowing the last mouthful of milk, Chen Yu chewed on the chili bits . He then recapped the bottle and put it back in place .
“She’s still a kid, ahahahaha . ”
After laughing out loud in satisfaction, Chen Yu suddenly got an idea . Overturning the feeding bottle, he squeezed out a few drops of reddish goat’s milk that remained in the feeding bottle and wiped them onto the corners of the slumbering Chen Erke’s lips and face . He then got up and left, hiding his merit and fame…
Half an hour later, Mother Chen got out of bed to prepare breakfast .
Chen Sanke, who obviously had her mind occupied with thoughts, ignored her sleepiness and got out of bed together with her mother . With awkward steps, she stumbled into the living room and picked up her feeding bottle .
“It’s gone again…”
Chen Sanke’s lips started trembling . Although she wanted to cry, she desperately held herself back . When she saw the traces of reddish milk on Chen Erke’s face, however…
“Wah!”
Chen Sanke immediately burst into tears . Raising her feeding bottle, she threw it at Chen Erke’s head and shouted, “It’s you!”
Clang!
A crisp sound echoed throughout the living room, and Chen Erke immediately awoke from her slumber . However, before she could react to the situation, Chen Sanke had already dragged her down from the sofa .
“It’s you! It’s you! You stole my milk! I knew I didn’t eat my snacks! Wah~~”
“What?”
“You stole my milk! I’ll beat you!”
“Ah, it hurts! Are you mental?!”
“Thief! I’ll beat you to death!”
“Mom! Third Eldest is hitting me!”
“Mommy! Big Sis is a thief!”
“You’re the thief!”
“You are! You are! You are!”
Unable to come to an agreement, the two children promptly started fighting each other .
On the one hand, Chen Sanke possessed immense strength despite her young age . On the other hand, Chen Erke was taller and ran faster . For a time, the fight between the two remained even .
Meanwhile, when Chen Yu, who was lying on his bed, heard the commotion coming from the living room, he excitedly rubbed his hands together .
Only after Father Chen, Mother Chen, and Chen Yike had all came out to stop the fight, did Chen Yu leisurely walk into the living room, and blankly asked, “What happened?”
“No idea . ” Rubbing her heavy eyelids, Chen Yike said, “I’m still not fully awake yet . ”
Meanwhile, Mother Chen was hugging Chen Sanke, and Father Chen hugged Chen Erke while loudly berating their daughters, “Why are you two fighting?”
“She stole my milk!” Chen Sanke said as she pointed at Chen Erke while aggrievedly wiping her tears .
“I did not!” Chen Erke said as she brandished her fists while similarly shedding tears . “She hit me for no reason!”
Putting on a stern look, Chen Yu slapped the coffee table and said, “Speak . Which one of you started the fight?”
“She did!” Chen Erke shouted while crying .
“Okay . Third Eldest, come over here . ” Pulling Chen Sanke to a corner, Chen Yu whispered into her ear, “Third Eldest, I support you! You’ve suffered . However, no need to bicker with Second Eldest . Didn’t she just drink your milk? Big Brother will buy more for you . ”
“Big Brother…” Wailing loudly, Chen Sanke tightly hugged Chen Yu’s thigh .
“Don’t cry . Big Brother will pamper you . ”
“Mhm! Big Brother is the best . ”
“Good girl . ”
After comforting Chen Sanke, Chen Yu pulled Chen Erke to another corner and whispered, “Your little sister is relying on her young age to have her way at home . I don’t believe for a second that you will steal her stuff . I understand you the most . You’ve suffered . ”
“Big Brother…” Wailing loudly, Chen Erke tightly hugged Chen Yu’s thigh .
“Don’t cry . Where does it hurt? Big Brother will give it a kiss . ”
“Brother, you really are kind . ”
“Hey, you’re my favorite little sister . Of course, I’ll be kind to you . ” Rubbing Chen Erke’s head, Chen Yu snuck a glance at Chen Yike before continuing, “If I’m not wrong, I think that your elder sister framed you! She’s the greediest out of us all . ”
“Mhm!” Chen Erke nodded in agreement, her eyes flaring with rage .

Saga of Fallen Kings, Book I: The Revenant Prince
The Philosopher King once conquered the known world, his power seemingly unlimited and his armies inexhaustible. Since that time his might has slowly unravelled, and his once steadfast empire has begun to crack, splinter and devour itself. In the isolated Southern Realms, where even magic has abandoned them, none of that matters. For years it has been filled with warring kingdoms, where as many kings die to the blade as to old age, and constant battles tear apart the land. When one such kingdom invades its old enemy, the King and his heir, Prince Caden, are killed. Unable to accept the loss of his family Prince Arian is broken, and when the Philosopher King stretches out his hand in aid, Arian takes it without a second thought. When Caden wakes from death, he's different. His eyes and soul have changed, and he finds a world filled with friends who no longer trust he's even human. Suddenly thrust onto the throne and indebted to the Philosopher King, Caden has no choice but to keep going - he must finish what his father started, and try to survive the machinations of the figure who now owns his fealty. Meanwhile something beyond death stirs for him, desiring nothing more than to drag him back into its embrace. Author's Note: This story used to be known as "A King of his Own", but after some consideration I have decided to rebrand it. The first reason is that I was growing increasingly dissatisfied with the title. The second is that I have come increasingly to view this story as a 'saga' containing multiple 'books' rather than one long, continuous publication, and as I did so I realized that as I was quickly getting to a point in the story where I wanted the first 'book' to end. This doesn't mean I'm going back on the things I said below - they're just going to continue in the next book of the Saga of Fallen Kings. :) Also, be aware that I do plan to edit this at some point. Though I take care to squash out any obvious errors when I proof-read, and do simple edits in that process, at some point I'm almost certainly going to do large edits that might significantly change parts of the story. Old author's notes: This started as a completely random writing session. There was no purpose or direction, but as I kept typing an entire world began to form in my mind that I knew I had to write about. My plan is to turn this story into a veritable medieval fantasy epic that spans an entire world, follows multiple character and storylines, and takes place over many years. The story has quite a grounded, almost 'realistic' start, but many more fantastical elements will be introduced, expanded upon and become central to the narrative. I have ideas for this story that make me genuinely excited and I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy writing it, and join me on what will hopefully become a truly massive fantasy epic. If you do enjoy this story please consider following, rating and leaving a review. I'm also happy to answer any questions or comments you have. The Novel's Extra's Extra
As a reader, Cristopher always looked for things that entertained him, didn't matter what the "critics" said, all that matters was his own opinion on the novel, so he started reading "The Novel's Extra", a webnovel that despicts an author who is transmigrated to his own novel. It was fun and all with its own good and bad points, really, one of his favorites novels at the end of the journey, and that's taking into account the little fact that he didn't have too many things he was able to enjoy, not in that empty shell that was called life for him... Why could someone be born like that? With a void inside, an endless void that slowly consumes oneself... But... for better or worse... everything changed one day, the same day he woke up to discover he had the same faith of the author whose novel he just finished reading, becoming an extra in a novel, becoming The novel's extra's extra... /Ok, now that's the description I thought of... first of all, for those of you who are reading this, if any, a few points I have to make clear: 1. I'm not an english native speaker, so if you find anything wrong in the text, please let me know, that would help me learn, and I would be thankful for that.2. I'm writting this out of pure "enjoyment", so while I'll try to be constant, I'll not make any promises.3. True reason why I'm writing this is because I'm going through a moderate to crippling depression right now (and no, is not because anything trully bad and horrendous happened to me, it seems to have something to do with my brain's malfuctioning, among other things), and doctors told me to try writing as I enjoy reading. So yeah, this is more like a self-help excercise, to keep myself distracted while trying to be safe from my self.4. I choose to make a fanfiction of "The Novel's Extra" as I don't trully know how to write, and because I really loved that webnovel, though there are some points I didn't particulary liked.5. If you see some (let's be clear, really much) self insertion on this series, well, that may be me trying to escape reality, to which I make an early warning and disclaimer, and also ask for forgiveness, as I said before, this is more of an excercise, so don't take it too serious.6. I'll be a slow writer, as I have to still check a few things from the novel, even when I've read it like 3 or 4 times already, and because I know shit about writing a novel or a series.7. If you get to enjoy this, then that's good, I would be glad about it, maybe even more motivated, but I don't really expect this to be any good. Thanks to you all who may, or may not, be reading this novel./
