Chapter 39 – Demons of Sixth High (1)

On Saturday, at seven in the morning, Chen Yu was awakened by the ringing of his phone’s alarm .

“Ugh…”

After waking up, Chen Yu wearily reached out and grabbed his phone from under his pillow, then turned off the alarm . His eyes remained squinted as he waited for his consciousness to come online .

“Mhm!” Chen Yike nodded while tucking a sun hat into her backpack . “My class is heading to Erlong Mountain for a tour today . We’re setting off at eight, so I’m preparing in advance . ”

“Oh . ” Chen Yu nodded in understanding . After washing up in the bathroom, he walked up to Chen Yike and evaluated her attire . Frowning, he said, “That skirt’s so short you might as well be wearing nothing . ”

Lowering her head to look at her light-blue skirt, Chen Yike said, “It’s not short! It covers up to my knees!”

“It doesn’t matter what you wear at home . It doesn’t even matter if your dress only covers up to your thighs . However, you cannot go out like this! Change to a longer skirt!” Chen Yu said sternly .

His little sister was so beautiful . How could he possibly let outsiders look at her?!

“A long skirt is inconvenient for activities! We’re going to climb Erlong Mountain today!”

“Wear pants, then . ”

“Brother!”

“No means no . You’re just a little teenage girl . What’s the point of wearing such a short skirt? Wear pants,” Chen Yu said, fully demonstrating his authority as an elder brother .

Helpless, Chen Yike had no choice but to return to her room and changed into track pants .

“Not bad,” Chen Yu commented when he saw Chen Yike walk out of her room wearing a long pair of pants . “It’s much more convenient to move in a pair of pants . The only problem is that the pant legs are too short . Your ankles are exposed . Make sure to wear longer socks afterward . ”

“Are you trying to wrap me into a mummy?!”

Paying no heed to Chen Yike’s dissatisfaction, Chen Yu walked forward to inspect her face . Immediately, he frowned once more as he exclaimed, “You’re actually wearing makeup?!”

Three minutes later, Chen Yu walked out of the bathroom with Chen Yike, who had regained her natural appearance .

Ignoring Chen Yu’s pain, Chen Yike stomped her way to the living room and resumed packing her backpack with an ugly expression on her face .

“Can’t you switch to another leg when you kick me next time?”

“Really?” Chen Yu asked .

“Really!”

“You’re going to ignore me?”

“I’m ignoring you!”

Nodding, Chen Yu took out a 100-yuan note from his pocket and walked up to Chen Yike . He then waved the bill before her eyes as he asked, “Do you have enough money for the trip?”

After a brief moment of silence, Chen Yike bent her waist and hugged Chen Yu’s left leg as she said, “Big Brother is the best!”

“Kekekeke…” Chen Yu laughed evilly at this scene . “Take it . Make sure to buy something good to eat . ”

“Big Brother is the best!” Chen Yike repeated .

At this time, Chen Yu also felt someone hugging his right leg . Turning his head, he noticed that the culprit was Chen Erke .

“Big Brother is the best!” Chen Erke said as she tightly hugged Chen Yu’s right leg, looking at the 100-yuan note in his hand longingly .

“Second Eldest, you’re still too young . ”

“You’re too young . ”

Five minutes later, Chen Yu arrived at Sixth High and climbed to the fourth floor in accordance with the test admission card he received previously .

It’s just a monthly test . Do they have to make such a huge fuss?

When Chen Yu entered the exam venue, however, he was stunned . Hurriedly, he exited the classroom and took a look at the class sign at the entrance .

“Year 3, Class 1… It’s correct . ” Confused, Chen Yu double-checked his admission card . “Year 3, Class 1… It’s this place .

“B-But…why is there only one table and one chair inside?!”

Inside the large classroom that was over 100 square meters, there was only a single table and chair! No matter how he looked at it, this was definitely a strange scene!
