Chapter 32 – Strong Children Feared Nobody

“Right, I still have 50 words I need to memorize! Gotta go, gotta go!” Chen Yike said, putting on an act of realization as she attempted to dash back to her own room .

“Right!” Mimicking her elder sister, Chen Sanke patted her head and said, “It’s time for milk! Gotta go, gotta go!”

“Where do you two think you’re going?!” Having no intention of letting them off the hook, Chen Yu grabbed both Yike and Sanke and held them in place . “Speak! What did you hear!?”

Chen Yike: “I didn’t hear anything . ”

Chen Sanke: “Me too . ”

Chen Yike: “I only happened to pass by . ”

Chen Sanke: “Me too . ”

Chen Yike: “Why do you even care? Are you doing something sneaky inside? Even so, I have no interest in finding out!”

Chen Sanke: “Me too . ”

Hearing his two sisters’ responses, Chen Yu could not help but sigh . He then released them and said, “Don’t come near my room in the future! Otherwise, I won’t be giving you allowances anymore!”

“Big Brother, have you ever given me an allowance before?” Chen Sanke asked, tilting her head in confusion .

In response, Chen Yu took out two notes from his pocket: a ten-yuan bill and a one-yuan bill . “Here, happy? If you do these sneaky actions again in the future, there really won’t be any more allowances!”

After waiting at the entrance for a short moment, he quickly noticed Chen Erke running out of the tuition center and caught her when she pounced on him . She then started rubbing her face against his chest .

“Alright, stop rubbing . ” When his chest started to itch from all the rubbing, Chen Yu placed Chen Erke on the ground .

“I thought you would forget about me again today . ”

“How is that possible? You’re my precious little sister . ”

“You forgot about me last time . ”

“I didn’t forget that time,” Chen Yu said as he patted Chen Erke’s head . “It was your elder sister’s fault . She locked my room and prevented me from picking you up . ”

“Huh?” Chen Erke was stunned when she heard Chen Yu’s words . “Why did she do that?”

“Maybe she’s evil,” Chen Yu said, shrugging . He then took Chen Erke’s small school bag and held her hand as he continued, “I was heartbroken at that time . When I thought about how helpless you would be in the cold outdoors, my eyes became blurry . For a moment, I had even thought of jumping out of the window to go pick you up . ”

“We live on the nineteenth floor . ”

“Right, that’s why I stopped myself from jumping . Your elder sister really isn’t anything good . ”

Growing impatient, Chen Yike stretched out her hand to snatch Chen Sanke’s half of the ten-yuan bill . However, before she could achieve her goal, Chen Sanke smacked her face, sending her tumbling .

“Torn money can’t be used!” Chen Yike said on the verge of tears .

Meanwhile, Chen Yu walked through the front door and was stunned by the sight of his two sisters . After snapping out of his daze, he pulled out his phone and checked the time . Falling into a daze once more, he asked, “Ten yuan? You… You two have been fighting over this for the past three hours?”

“Brother! Third Eldest tore the money in half!” Chen Yike said, stomping her feet in anger and frustration .

“What do you think?” Chen Sanke asked as she pinched her waist and puffed up her chest in pride .

Chen Yu: “…You two really have promising futures . ”
