Chapter 15 – No Time for Talk! Get On!

The ringing of the school bell rang across the school, signifying that it was the end of the school day . At the same time, the students of Class 2-2 shot up from their sleep . It only took half a second for the sleepy students to be in glowing spirits .

Just then, a PE teacher, who was practicing basketball by himself nearby, heard Chen Yu’s landing sound . He turned around right away to see Chen Yu sprinting off . His eyes lit up immediately .

“That fast? A good seedling!”

Without the slightest hesitation, the PE teacher threw the basketball away and paced up, chasing after Chen Yu . “Student over there! Hold up!”

Hearing the PE teacher’s voice, Chen Yu turned around to discover that he was being chased by a tall and strong teacher . Assuming that the teacher was here to lecture him for jumping out of the window, Chen Yu picked up his speed without hesitation .

“Hey, don’t run! Slow down, kid! Stop!”

In response to the PE teacher’s words, Chen Yu ran even faster .

With the additional boost of the basketball shoes, the difference between Chen Yu and the teacher’s speed was as different as night and day . In just thirty seconds, Chen Yu had dashed out of the school gate and turned left .

“Wait!” The PE teacher gritted his teeth and used up all his energy to go after Chen Yu . “Stop running! Stop there!”

“Is this teacher nuts?” Chen Yu found a short moment to look back at the “fierce and scary” muscular teacher, which left him puzzled and in a slight panic .

He had only jumped out of a window . His actions did not bring about any serious consequences . Was there a need to chase after him so intensely?

“Kid! Don’t run! What are you running for?!” the PE teacher yelled, ignoring the strange stares the passersby were giving him . Picking up his speed, he shouted, “What are you running for?! I’m not going to beat you up!”

“He’s going to beat me up as well?”

Sprinting on the bustling street, all Chen Yu could faintly hear was the word “beat . ” He was so scared that blood drained from his face . Chen Yu did not dare to stop at all now .

Just then, a policeman patrolling on his motorcycle saw the scene . Thinking that Chen Yu was a thief, he immediately made a turn and sped up . Under the growling of the engine, he made his way over to the PE teacher . “Get on!”

The policeman turned the throttle and put the police siren on, dashing for Chen Yu, who was slowly getting further from them .

Hearing him, the PE teacher on the backseat nodded his head hard . “Yes!” he said with excitement . “That’s why I’m having such a tough time chasing after him . Such a good seedling! A champion in the making!”

Squeak!

The motorcycle came to a sudden break . The policeman took off his helmet and turned to the PE teacher in utter disbelief . “What…did you say?” he stammered .

“Ah? I… I said that I’m after him because he’s fast… . ”

Policeman: “…”

PE teacher: “…”

After staring at each other for three seconds, the PE teacher was thrown off the motorcycle as the policeman put his helmet back on and turned the throttle furiously, leaving behind a puff of exhaust gas in the PE teacher’s face .

The PE teacher covered his nose and mouth, coughing furiously . He stared into the end of the alley, but Chen Yu was nowhere to be seen .

“He’s gone… . ”

The PE teacher stood rooted to the ground for a long time . He sighed regretfully and turned around immediately, making his way back to the school .
