Levi was happy with the life he had built for himself. But then I asked myself: what past do they have between them for the Demon Lord to have so much faith in her second in command, and for him to be so loyal to such a horrible being? So this is my attempt at writing the origin of those two, who, while hated by all races in the world, still have each other as the only confidant to entrust their life to.
