Chapter 47: 47
North of the Nan Empire – Pesc Island .
Almost two months have passed since Eliana discovered that her sister managed to escape the laboratory .
Eliana threw the document in her hand, with a cold glow in her eyes .
A long time has passed . Her sister Nera disappeared into the air and did not appear again .
At her command, Eliana dispatched her best sea hunters to investigate secretly but had no idea where she might be now, despite looking for many days .
That afternoon, Eliana received information .
“Nan Empire, you say?” A cruel and sinister look formed in her eyes, Eliana got up and went to the window .
According to the information, it was said that someone similar to Nera’s descriptions was seen in a city called Esfin in the Nan Empire .
No matter what, she had to send someone to investigate first, as she finally managed to get a valuable clue .
‘Nera, Nera, Nera . . . this time, you need to disappear forever!’ Looking south, Eliana said cruelly in her mind .

Looking at Choko and the rest, Nero asked, “Are we going back now?”
“Yes, we better do that . ” Nodding, Jana said: “We killed a lot of monsters and acquired many monster cores; if we use it, we will level up and thus, making it easier to go to the third floor of the dungeon . “
None of them objection, so they started down the stairs on the second floor of the dungeon, heading towards the first floor .
“Nero, I totally forgot that I promised to massage you . ” As she walked, Choko asked, “Do you still want me to do it?”
“Yes, I’d love to . ” Smiling behind the mask, Nero nodded .
Receiving a positive response from Nero, Choko celebrated mentally .
“This is great, when we get home, I will do it . ” Smiling, Choko said as she looked at Nero .

“Choko, why do I feel that your thoughts are not pure?” With a playful smile, Jana said .
“Huh? What? Of course, they are . . . !” Choking up a lot when talking, Choko said with her cheek flushed in ripe apple tone .
Jair and Breno were in total silence, they do not dare to get involved in this type of conversation .
With an innocent expression, Nero asked, “What do you mean, Choko doesn’t have pure thoughts?”
Receiving Nero’s innocent look in her direction, Jana looked away, she was barely able to maintain eye contact, even though Nero is wearing a mask
‘Girl, what’s going on with you? You like a boy and not a girl!’ Jana tried to convince herself by repeating that phrase in her mind several times .
With an awkward smile, Jana replied: “I was just kidding, don’t take it too seriously . “
“Is that so?” Nero looked at Choko .
“Yes, she is just playing . ” Choko said immediately .
“I understand . ” Nodding, Nero did not persist in this matter .
As they walked, they already reached the exit of the dungeon .
‘Who is this girl with wings, she is new to the city? Even wearing a mask, she looks so beautiful!’ The guard at the entrance to the dungeon thought .
He is not the guard who was in the morning, after all, it was already night and the other guard changed his shift .
“Good night, be careful on the way back . ” The dungeon guard tried to act as professionally as possible .
“En . Good evening . ” Choko and her group nodded as they passed the guard .
The sky was pitch black, even darker than inside the dungeon . The cold night wind made Choko shiver slightly .
Seeing this, Nero removed the overcoat he was wearing and placed it across Choko’s shoulders: “Choko, you are shaking . “

Choko: ” . . . “
After a moment of silence, Choko smiled shyly: “Thank you . “
While Nero and her group were walking through the city streets .
” . . . Wow! My goodness!”
“What a beautiful woman!”
“What a body!”
“An angel? Not! She is a goddess!!”
“How should she be without this mask?”
“Urgh!”
“You bastard, look ahead, haven’t you seen me here?”
“Am I to blame? Look there!”
“What’s in there?”
“Hey, your nose is bleeding!”
” . . . “
“Nero, I think it’s better to wear the coat again!” Throwing deadly looks at pedestrians who kept looking in their direction . . . or rather, in the direction of Nero, Choko said uneasily .
Nero mistakenly thought she thought she was cold and wrapped the wings around her and Choko’s, which surprised Choko very much, causing her mind to leave her body for a few seconds .
“It’s warm . . . ” In a dreamy voice, Choko said .
“It is not? That way we both are not cold~” Smiling, she said: “By the way, Jana . If you want, you can come here too . “
“Not!” Jana took a deep breath and said calmly, “I mean, no . I’m, well thanks . “
“Oh, really?” Nero asked rhetorically and did not persist .
Seeing this, pedestrians in the city could only regret and wish that these wings would get out of the way, but even just seeing the pink-white wings, made them wonder how beautiful the wings could be .
“This is where we say goodbye . ” Getting close to the street of Jana, Jair, and Breno’s house, Jana said: “See you tomorrow . “
“Yes, see you tomorrow . ” Said Nero .
“Don’t forget to use the monster cores and level up . ” With a serious look, Choko remembered .
“Yes, we will not forget . ” They agree .
While walking just her and Choko, Nero couldn’t help thinking that this city was very similar to the city of the old European .
Houses built close together, narrow streets, only the main streets were wide enough to carry large carts, huge stone temples, Choko said earlier that there is a coliseum where hunters fight and earn rewards .
Walking like this, Nero felt like he had traveled through time . It was strange, but at the same time, exciting .
Before they even realized it, they had already reached the great terrain of the Choko family .
“Let’s go in . ” With her arms linked in Nero’s, Choko said .
“Yes . ” Nodding, Nero started walking with Choko into the mansion grounds .

The Saga of Armageddon: The Call of Crows
Bjorn Stormtamer's world has been turned upside down in more ways than one. His shipmates have left him for dead on an island for quarantining victims of a disease that he now has. His partner in battle despises him, his family thinks he's dead and everyone else thinks it was good riddance. Moreover, the world is under attack by a virulent plague that kills with light and an empire from the east whose intentions are unknown but whose methods are merciless and bloodthirsty. Little does he know that the world itself is nearly on the brink of cosmic collapse. But when a bold, charismatic woman from another nation seeks him out, Bjorn discovers that the plague he has was not a plague at all, but a trial. A trial to determine who is worthy to wield the power of gods in order to give humanity a fighting chance against the winds of fate. This novel was written 2 years ago and isn't exactly my best work. I'm still improving my skills, but I encourage you to enjoy it for what it's worth. ALSO, the whole plague thing was written about before the COVID pandemic. The plague is fake and actually magic in the story, but that has NOTHING to do with real world events. I am under NO CIRCUMSTANCE trying to make ANY kind of statement with it. Please just enjoy the story and stay safe.

Mary Susan Oceanrunner and the Brutus Saint's Academy
Join Mary Susan Oceanrunner on her quest to do... erm... something really important for the world... probably... Ahem. Long gone are the days when every hero could do whatever they wanted - now, we are civilised. We have government. Law. And proper forms. Lots of proper forms. (Final episode 25/07/2022. Also - beta readers far into the book rate the 'gore' degree as below 2/10, so the warning is a bit much) Mary Susan Oceanrunner is a poor girl from the orphanage, who like many others before, has to fulfil her destiny. The prophecy had been told, and she is the only one who can make things right. Erm... probably. Anyway, she can't just go and kill monsters like in the middle ages. First, she must apply for the appropriate permissions, fill the forms, learn about the proper loot taxations... Hey, no one said adventuring would be easy, right? Disclaimers: No claim made by any character by the book should be treated as the author's or anyone else's opinion on any subject. Most likely, it was just the funniest thing the Author could think of at the time of writing. This book contains many references to other works. It will probably be best enjoyed by individuals familiar with at least some of the following: 1) Computer games2) Fantasy in general3) Science fiction4) Tabletop RPGs5) Conspiracy theories6) Corporation work life7) Long forgotten prophecies uttered millennia ago in almost as forgotten languages under a starless night three dusks before the great convergence8) Filling any government-mandated form9) School10) EnglishMy ultimate goal is to make as many people experience something akin to joy while reading (think ~a bit louder exhale through the nose). It doesn't mean every scene will be funny or joyful because that's not how this stuff works. I can neither confirm nor deny having any other hidden agenda outside of that.
