Madoka gripped the doorhandle to her house/fort. It had taken all day, but she was finally here. Ready to apprehend the most evil villain of Mexico, and to save her wife from probable certain destruction, except she was probably just bored watching TV and didn’t notice him barging in there.
She realized that Former Sheriff Flint was gone. That was odd… Well, she guessed he had to go back home.
She opened the door and walked inside. “Hi honey, I’m--”
“SURPRISE!”
Wow!!! As soon as Madoka walked into her house, she was greeted with a gigantic cast of characters from the rest of the comic. Sayaka and her girlfriend Asuka, Kyoko, Former Sheriff Flint, El Guante for some reason, and-- hey, it was Crispina, the new recruit!
“Wow guys, this is so cool! Thanks!” Madoka had forgotten that today was October 3rd, her birthday! She was finally twenty, which was kind of crazy thinking about the fact she had been married over five years already, so she stopped thinking about it.
“I have to say, Kaname,” Crispina said in a grumpy tone. “You proved really hard to ‘take care of.’ I wasn’t supposed to let you go home all day, but it turns out you were never in any danger of getting home early after all.”
“Yeah…” El Guante said. “Eventually I had to attack you to convince you to come home at all. Sorry about the knee, by the way.”
“No biggie… (please pay my medical bills.)”
Kyoko stepped up to Madoka and gave her a big smooch. “How’s my birthday girl?”
“Uhh… a year older, I guess.”
“Good,” she said with a smile. Now let’s eat some cake and drink some punch. I made sure Sayaka didn’t spike it this time.”
Former Sheriff Flint tipped his hat.Madoka tipped her sombrero in return, and then the ghostly man phased through the wall, disappearing to who knows where.
“Okay,” Madoka said. “Let’s party!”

Does have GL subplot later on. Warning: Since some people do not seem to get the slice of life idea, this story is SLOW. There is action and I intend to write more of it but don't come here expecting it to be the focus 24/7. A young woman from Earth wakes up in a cave, disoriented, confused, amnesic and with her lower body replaced by that of a giant spider. She has no idea what she stumbled into and all the extra sensations were definitely not helping. "Did I get reincarnated into a fantasy world?" She's not quite sure. But, the goblin, the troll and (soon enough) the hot elf all suggest "yes." As much as it creeps her out, her new body is powerful and flexible in some very interesting 'spidery' ways as she slowly learns to live with it. Combined with what modern knowledge she can still remember, the newly christened Elania soon finds herself building a new life as an adventurer among the elves. Who knows what awaits her? Maybe, just maybe, she might even find happiness along the way. There will be a fair amount of errors in writing up until chapter 43 (where I got a proper proofreader/editor to help me out.) Chapters 1-20 or so will at some point receive partial rewriting because I don't quite like the flow and feel there are some parts that don't make as much sense as they should. It's my first time writing a story so you might spot a lot of amateur mistakes but feel free to criticize my writing as much as you like. Anyways, to give you a quick idea of what the story is all about, the original title of this novel was supposed to be "The Yankee in Another World" but when I thought about writing that in the cover I immediately thought 'HELL NAW' and went with a different one and I feel like the new title captures the essence of this story more. because although it's categorized as an Isekai, the story is more focused on redemption rather than the Isekai fantasy. Hopefully, I'll be able to update this synopsis once I thought of one.
