It's been quite some time since the incident at my parent's house. We came back to Tokyo, thinking that Clattanoia is there, waiting for us, but to no avail, there's none.
It's exactly three months since then and yet she still hasn't come back. I don't know what happened to her, nor Euclius. Both of us don't have the slightest idea where she is now.
"Have you seen this girl?"
"No, but you'll probably see her at a cosplay convention given her outfit"
That's the same answer I'm getting every time for god's sake! So every Saturday, I'm going out of my house, rides a bicycle, and asks If they saw Clattanoia around, showing them her picture.
She probably used one of his notebooks as a portal to go home but got transported to another place randomly. I hope It's just like that. I've been doing this for three months and nothing produced any kind of result.
"Let's see, I'm done asking around at Chiba... Maybe I should go back and try again next week."
Once again, I experienced failure while looking for Clattanoia. I spent half of my day bearing no results. Clattanoia, wherever you are... I hope you're in great health

"I'm home."
"How Is It?"
The moment I entered the house, Euclius already bombarded me with questions. I mean, geez, at least, let me take off my shoes for Pete's sake.
"Hinata! Where have you been? Black Clover's chapter this week is so great!"
"Yeah, I still haven't read It though."
The girl that talks excitedly is, of course, Frieda. Well, that's her name. She told me It was her name 2 months ago. It took me quite a few weeks but I got her name nonetheless.
Back then, It was communication was so hard. I just call her "girl" and some other kid will look at me. Well, those were the times. Well, she's pretty cheerful now.

"Asta will definitely be a Wizard King, I knew It!"
Yeah, he will. That's obvious. Also, she's an avid fan of Black Clover, I kind of feel bad because Black Clover is the first manga I presented to her but whatever. With that, our lives are pretty peaceful.
The moment I knew It, I'm already past the point where I'm alone. This point... I have friends and comrades now. A cute kid accompanies me, a nice guy also hangs out with me. I think... bit by bit... this boring world is starting to have value for me

Recruit - An Infinite Labyrinth prequel
A prequel to The Infinite Labyrinth. The year is 1816. The British Empire is in full swing, under the auspices of King George III. The Infinite Labyrinth has been pouring out its product from beyond our reality and fostered a new industrial revolution. Times are changing, and the people of London are feeling the winds of the revolution while British Professionals push into the Labyrinth. The newly formed Artefact Hunting Company is looking for recruits, and they have new technology to help them. From the slums of London, they aim to recruit a new wave of Professionals. And make Zacharias and the Earl of Carnavon lots of money. So, for Rowan Rivers and a handful of lucky ones, it's time to head into the Labyrinth, and discover what makes it different from England. And what makes THEM different? Recruit is a bunch of chapters I wrote to create to the setting, mood, and game systems of the Infinite Labyrinth. It is NOT a complete story in the classic sense. It's more of a slice of life view of early days of a normal Professional from the Infinite Labyrinth, and it's heavy on info-dump. It's 90% canon - there's probably a bit of a difference between how some characters and common behaviour are portrayed here and how they'll come out in the main story. Set two years before the events that kick-start the main series, it features some of the secondary/peripheral characters of the Infinite Labyrinth and will tell you all about the basic mechanics of the Labyrinth's RPG system. It can be considered a spoiler, as the characters in the Infinite Labyrinth are going to need to figure out all that, on their own. But if you like a much deeper exposition in the mechanics, here it is. The entire prequel is about 80 pages long.

Garion Greensleeves always was an oddity. The first son of High-Wizard Garius Greensleeves and Adricor, a Noble woman of well renown, he would of stood to inherit much. His parents, after much frantic searching, found the babe crying in a small clearing of trees, a large feline creature pacing defensively around him, the bloodied corpse of a fox resting at its feet. As the parents approached, the beast transformed into a small owl and flew around the clearing before perching on a low branch of a tree nearby. From this moment on Garion's fate had been decided. Only those with magical blood could be capable of calling out to such a being as this. As Garion grew older, the transforming creature remained by his side.
