Clattanoia's POV

This should be a normal family dinner... I'm really excited earlier since I never had a proper family dinner before, even though I'm not really part of their family, I'm still happy.

Then... what the hell's with this heavy atmosphere?! The air is so dense, I can't even breath properly!

Our current position at the table is:

Hinata Father

Me Mother

Euclius

The Father is looking at Hinata so intensely while slurping the noodles! Is this is the noodles from hell?! What's with The killer bloodshot eyes?! It looks he's going to charge at Hinata any second!

And Hinata himself is so out of It that he barely touches his food. It's like he's already saying that he's not worthy of the food. I understand why you'll be scared of your father but in the end, he's still your father! Why are you so scared shitless?!

"The atmosphere is so gloomy here, Papa! Hinata brought some of his friends, that's a rare sight, isn't It?"

Finally, Mother tried to break the ice! Way to go, Mother! Break this creepy, dark and annoying atmosphere out of the way! After Mother's words, Father shifted his stare from Hinata towards me and Euclius...

Euclius is so dense to get the hint and just continues to slurp the noodles like It's the most delicious thing on Earth! For god's sake, Euclius, we ate too much noodles back at Hinata's home, why are you so greedy on It here?!

Look, I admit, I'm kind of slow on things but when something's wrong I can feel It! And the fact that bloodshot eyes are now staring at me is the fact that there's something wrong!

"His friends are wasted on his degeneracy"

That's the only thing he said and goes back to eat the noodles. My eyes crossed to Hinata who reacted to the word, he flinched a little but in the end, he never did anything. Hinata... He's insulting you like that, why are you just taking It?

"I'm done, I'll go ahead and sleep. Hinata, stay here If you want but don't expect that I will, once again, treat you like a son"

At those words, Hinata's eyes darkened. His eyes are already dark before but this time, It's like It lost all of Its light. Saying heavy those words, Father stood up and gone upstairs. No one, even Mother was able to do anything at this event

Is that how a father really acts? I don't have anyone I can call a father but I do know that that's not how a father should act. I should go speak to him and give him a lesson!

"Clattanoia! Whatever you're about to do, don't do It..."

I was about to stand up and follow him but Hinata stopped me halfway. He only said those words to me and he just stood up, took his plate to the sink and walked to the stairs.

"I'll go out to get some air, please don't follow me"

I don't know why they're like that but Isn't something like this bad?!

"Sorry, Clattanoia. You're a guest here and yet this is the sight you had."

"Ahhh, I'm fine, Mother. Don't worry about It"

"I'm also fine"

Shut up, Euclius! You don't even know what transpired!"

"This is honestly my fault... I know forcing Hina to come back here would just reopen wounds but I just can't just let those two being like that"

I see now... I want to ask what happened. I want to know. It's just two weeks since Hinata and I met but I'm already attached to him. He's the very first person that didn't attacked me immediately. It's normal to be loyal to the very first person you met, right?

"It might be sensitive to ask this but... Just what happened between the two of them?"

"No, It's better If Hina himself will tell you. Who knows, maybe he's more comfortable with you guys more than me."

That's the only answer I've got from her but It's enough for me. Now that I about It, I also need to apologize for what happened earlier so It's the perfect timing.

I stood up removed the dust from my skirt then said with full confidence with myself

"I'll bring Hinata back, I promise"

Mother just nodded at my words and although, I didn't expect It. Euclius is actually listening to us, he just sent me a smile before I finally gone out to fetch Hinata.

"Hinata! Hinata! Where are you?!"

"I'm here."

Ehhhhh?! He suddenly appeared like a ghost! Now that I think of It, their yard is pretty small so there's no way he wouldn't hear me without shouting, that's kind of dumb for me

"So what Is It? Do you want to go home? Don't worry, I already booked a train ticket to Tokyo. We're going to leave tomorrow morning. It's a mistake to come here"

"No, It's not that! There's something I'd like to ask you?"

"Something you want to ask me?"

This is It! The cold wind shivers my spine and It makes my skin shake but that doesn't matter to me, we could talk here, or even freeE to death here. But I'll help him at all cost!

"What happened between you and your father?"

A cold silence occurred. Just earlier he's talking like there's no tomorrow but now not a single word comes out of his mouth.

"Well... I'm kind of guilty for what happened earlier. So I guess, I'll tell you."

Here It goes. I slowly gulped my saliva and let It slide down my throat. I don't know where this route would go but wherever It was, I'm going to stick to It.

"My father, my mother, my mother and me is part of a group. A legendary group to be exact... It was called... The Generation Of Miracles..."

LIES!!! This whole story already reeks of bullshit! If you suddenly joke when we're in the verge of a drama, we'll have tonal problems, for god's sake! Also, you don't have a brother! You literally said It yourself!

"Hinata, seriously? You expect me to believe that?"

"Oh? So you don't want the Generation Of Miracles? What about the Akatsuki?"

"It doesn't make a difference! Also, why would you call yourself The Generation Of Miracles when your parents are in a different generation! That's messed up!"

What the hell... I'm so serious about helping him and here he is, spouting bunch of nonsense. But for a moment, I actually saw Hinata smiling but only for a bit, one tiny moment.

But after that one moment, a portal behind us sudden opened. From Hinata's position, he can't see It but I can see It clearly. There's a hand coming to get him

"Hinata, duck!"

"Eh?"

I'm too late, the hand already grabbed his shirt! Instinctively, I also grabbed Hinata's right leg at the same time. What the hell is this portal?! Is this a teleportation portal?! an endless nothingness kind of Portal?! Or maybe... It came from another world?!
