But they weren't the only ones to be chased down by some monsters coming out from a fantasy novel or just what they saw on the internet before the world changed.

The people around the world after the horde of beasts entered their cities were barely able to stay alive, with a small number of military camps that were close to the cities protected by a dome that survived the first part of the world change and now doing their best to repel a new wave of beasts.

But having a limited amount of weapon and ammunition it was starting to get difficult since they now had to use the weapon they got from the awakening room but not having used it even once and then suddenly had to face beasts with a higher level and slightly intelligent was impossible to kill for them, needing the double or triple of human to repel one beast not even killing it.

With huge losses among those that repelled the beasts, and this new wave of beasts was stronger than the beasts they met so far making their lives a veritable hell, the improvised camps near the military buildings in the outskirts cities that were built with the woods they got from the near forest when there hadn't beasts around to reinforce their camps.

SInce after noticing those change they sent some scouts that reported all the new change in the city and the near forests and some scout noticed new thing from trees that moved on their own in the forest to flower that ate beasts, but they were barely able to survive their trip to go in the city and come back at their camps with civilian slowing them down while they walked in a dance zone covered in tall grasses at the outskirts of the city with beasts roaming around.

although there had stronger beasts near the forest and lost many men while walking to enter the city, the woods from the trees in the forest were sturdier than the normal one with some special trees that they were able to take were as hard as iron.

since it was those walls with those special woods that they were able to cut once they learned how sturdy those trees were, that saved their life now but at this rate, they were barely able to stop those beasts, with birds bigger and faster that appeared attacking any person they saw making a huge shadow in the sky roaming in the sky near the cities and militaries camp attacking human and beasts that were apart from their group.

making it harder for them to fight the beasts that kept climbing the walls that were three-meter tall and with most of those beasts being two-meter high, it wasn't very effective but still blocked some insects and beasts that weren't tall enough to jump past the wall and enter the camp.

With Men shouting orders despite their fear of death, while trying to guide the civilians more inside the camp while doing their best to block the beasts that entered the camp, but some beasts still passed them causing people to run all over the place trying to hide their head looking around but only to see people being eaten alive.

the Militaries weren't able to split their attention, making the losses pile up and the beasts outside of the walls to keep their charge and after some times some of those camps that weren't enough organized, were overwhelmed and were taken by beasts letting a desolate area with the walls being destroyed by the weight and strength of hundred of level four beast.

But those Improvised camps were the luckiest ones at least those that survived, with some that we're able to survive the beast attack after three hours with half of the people in those camps that were dead and depending on those that fought against the monsters and helped in any way, they got one or two-level since the large part of the monsters concentrated their focus on the cities, they were still at risk of being destroyed but compared to those small groups of people that were at risk of being killed at any corner in the cities.

those small groups didn't have much choice to get as strong they could and find a place to defend waiting for the situation to calm down or to die since everywhere in the world was the same, and their fight to survive paid back since once the beasts' horde calmed down and that some groups that fight instead of just hide gained one or two-level, the beasts started to split up in the street with some beasts that started to come back in the forests.

And those that only hide gained one level making the gap of level less wide just enough to keep them alive and all the rest depend on them to go out and fight beasts to catch a chance to grow stronger.

It had been three hours already and the horde of beasts that entered most of the cities was starting to calm down, all the cities around the world had completely fallen.

restarting anew with some small groups in those cities that survived getting enough strong to survive this ordeal and maybe rise and shine in this new era.

Nature slowly envelops the cities with howls and growls from time to time, coming from some beasts to warn or claim the territories they won after fighting against numerous enemies.

With humans in this big ocean of green and monsters and beasts fighting to grow stronger.

It was enough to make people fear their new life on this new earth, with each passing day being worst than the previous one, they could saw grasses and vine slowly but steadily growing with little insects roaming around the corpses of dead beasts or humans in the street with the smell of blood still in the air, the once lively and noisy cities filled with human trampled by the might of nature and the evolution.

Chris in those three hours had been trying to reduce the number of beasts that were chasing after him but it didn't really work, he always had someone to cover his back before but now he was alone, even with his high sense enhancing his reflexes he was barely able to not have his head cut off, making him use the double of stamina to be able to fight and escape numerous beasts alone.

But the time was starting to play against him depleting his strength being now only able to run, hiding from building to building to try to lose some of the bigger beasts.

My sight filled with different beasts from wolves, bears, dogs, and cats the fact that they all heightened at least two meters make the street already small even more crowded.

with the monsters with two horns still waiting behind roaming around, the other beasts didn't dare to approach them, I checked my body doing my best to not scream with all the new wounds and gashes all over my arm and legs grabbing my sword tightly my hand now black and red from the new old and new blood, I could feel a scratch on my right cheek that I got from a cat that suddenly appeared from nowhere, his claws scratching my cheek missing my eyes of a mere inch.

Making me lose balance from the sudden movement I made, and finally being in this situation because of this fucker that appeared when I wasn't paying attention in front of me.

I did my best to not curse out loud but greeted my teeth instead and kept looking around while some beasts went further in the street with some still hanging around.

Encircled from every side it seemed just for me those beasts that normally should fight each other were working together even if from time to time I could see some of them fighting each other but stopped when they noticed that I was trying to run.

I couldn't figure out where I was anymore, I remembered when I used my energy perception 2 hours ago before I feel a strong headache when I was hiding in one building to escape them, that the area had fewer beasts which mean that I got in a totally different direction from the horde beasts.

And with the building being almost the same here with some big buildings not too far that I could see in the distance, it didn't at all helped me to figure out where I was and I couldn't find a building that was enough high but not easy for those beasts to destroy or just not infested with some low-level monsters that wouldn't attract attention if they found me.

since part of the buildings I had been in was attacked by the bears, with their strength and huge body charging like a bull destroying easily the doors or walls to let some of the smaller beasts enter chasing after me in the building, with some beasts already inside depending in the buildings I was in that were already inside making me realize that the buildings once safe because of the huge size of the beasts after their evolution that makes them unable to enter weren't anymore so safe with danger lurking everywhere, I finish them off before going further in the building searching for another building.

I was thinking about what to do to find the others or if I should even try to find the others, Sweating from the pressure this group of beasts emitted all around the street and the buildings near me even if they were a few meters from me.

I took a glance from behind the car I was leaning on, the place was filled with different cars, and the smell of gasoline filling the air coming from some cars in a sorry state.

trying to figure out what was my best choice now, it was stupid to seat here waiting for them to leave but if I got up now and try to reach the closest building I would be quickly found out and it will be harder to escape them this time, I could feel that I didn't have much left of energy my bloodline boosting me now I could felt the warm current coursing me every time I try to feel my bloodline with the faint response I receive like a signal from it telling me to fight or die.

The bear was fast but couldn't control his speed making him fall on the car I was leaning on just a moment ago, I jumped on him not waiting what the other beasts would do, slashed at his neck blood flowing pointing my sword, and continued making sure to kill piercing his big eyes that looked horrified from the realization that it was going to die and dig it deeply in its eye and stopped only when I felt that I wasn't able to enter anymore before pulling it out when I noticed the others beasts following just behind the bear and others around the street and buildings taking my sword out in one go, I heard the bear beneath me let a small growl but didn't get up.

Before I received a prompt killing it, that I dismissed and in front of me appeared one of the two-horned beasts, my mind blanked out for a second, but it was all that needed the monster clawing at my chest tearing part of flesh sending me on the cars behind me near the bear I just killed I looked at the monster that had a smile on it face while he was coming for me.

' How did he come here so fast..... '

My mind and body screaming in pain from the shock but I didn't let go of my sword, one wolf jumping at me before I could even adapt to the surrounding my mind still wracked, with my head that got knocked on the door or the window of the car behind me, touching the back of my head and saw blood I wasn't able to think what was happening to me.

' ohhhh I am screwed ...' it was ll what I could think but still raised my sword instinctively in front of me making the wolf impale himself on it.

but his charge was so strong that the car and I got pushed back making the car turn while I and the wolf's body fell behind the returned car, my sigh blurred with the view of the sky before I got my face hitting the ground.

I could feel my strength slowly leaving me, I wasn't sure why my body was starting to be weaker since the last hours, even if the shock I took was strong my body should have been able to take it, after all the levels up I got, with the stage of my bloodline being lower than my level but still enough to give me a stronger and tougher body to fight the beasts at stronger than me.

I didn't try to judge at which distance they were from me and started to run before I felt a strong wind behind my back and head but still kept running, my body shivering from this close attack I escaped from, growls of anger or whatever it was ringing in my ears.

Entering the street starting to look for a way to lose them.

My body aching suddenly from head to toe but I couldn't stop, I could still hear and feel stomps and growls behind me, the ground shaking at each step I took from the number of beasts behind me.

I couldn't understand how I was able to keep going so far even if I could tell that my body shouldn't be moving after that last blow, even with my regeneration ability, until I felt my bloodline suddenly boiling inside my blood vessels I could feel it coursing inside me, but this time instead of boosting each part of my body, this time it destroyed my cells or whatever was important to me before recreating and remodeling it while the little spark of black and faint blue in my body entering those new cells mixing in it.

I wasn't sure if I was still running from the beasts or if I had stopped at some point trying to figure out what was happening to me, and in this split second to understand what was happening to me my surroundings turned black but I could still somehow feel instinctively that I was still running not sure how much time passed in this state, I felt or heard something break in this black environment like if it was some bone being broken or glasses before I felt my senses coming back to me with an atrocious pain at my heart that was beating faster suddenly like if it was going to pop out of me, placing my hand on my bleeding chest but it didn't help at all, all of of this happened in a split second but I wasn't able to understand what was going on.

' Seriously I was fine just a second and...!!'

I couldn't think straight anymore my mind trying to do its best to coordinate my body that was now walking like a drunk man zigzagging like a snake before I balance myself to keep running.

I almost fall from the sudden pain when I felt energy entering my body like a tsunami mainly in my blood vessels while some part of them mingled with my skin, hair, and organ but at a slower rate, I wasn't sure what to think anymore I was escaping for my life with my body barely able to keep on and now I got a new change in my body and all of this without even being absorbed by me like if it was washing me.

' What is it arghhhhh ....The fuck is happening to me....arghhhh'

I looked around me for a place enough strong to keep those beasts until I could finish this new phase I was going through I could tell it wasn't over like if my body was hungry, asking for more energy to complete the process of whatever my body was going through.

At the same time I could feel the wounds I got the last hours being healed, The beasts behind me stopped chasing after me for a second growling at me when I tilted my head to the side looking behind me.

But like if they were enraged by my sudden burst of violent energy they restarted to chase after me, even if I was able to distance myself from this split second even with my state my body doing his best to keep running.

' AHH what the fuck is happening to me and of all the possible times it's now it had to happen '
