After understanding that they all chose their path which is maybe related to a faction I started thinking that I was maybe more weak than anyone here at least for those who chose a faction.

I then looked at the round shield and sword I took myself since it's was the only weapon that wasn't too heavy and the shield is good to help to cover my body and with the range of the sword it will be ok I think from what know will happen after we get back on earth, it's at least easy to use even if I don't know anything about swordplay and I always wanted to feel the excitement of a battle every time I read a scene of fighting with a weapon.

I then looked the other the middle-aged woman took a staff and a dagger that she placed around her waist with a belt in a sheat, the highschool girl took a sword too but she had in her back a bow look like she doesn't want to fight but still take the sword and the girl next to the beautiful one took a hammer which surprised me because it's looked really intimidating how easy she raises it to look like they really got benefice for joining a faction.

For the guys, the middle-aged man took a sword but it was not so exaggerated like the big guy and the high school guy took a shield and an ax the school driver just take the same weapon looks like he is really confused about what is happening.

Finishing the choice of weapons, the only armors accessible was a leather armor that protects our chest and back, the ball then started to talk to us again.

"Since you choose your path and prepared yourself for your new life I will now send you back on earth good luck"

And all of a sudden we felt again this feeling of being sucked and then we were on the bus like if nothing changed except that we were wearing medieval cloth.

But when I was thinking what to do now I felt this time, not a headache but a sudden wave pass through my body and I felt something changing in me and my blood started to boil but just after that a pain came across all my body and I wanted to ask for help so I looked around and I saw the middle-aged man and the beautiful girl too in the same state.

I wasn't able to keep my mind clear because the pain continued to grow and now it wasn't just my blood that was boiling but now even my bones, eyes, and skin boiled inside of me like a furnace and I was thinking I will go crazy but then it stopped and a warm feeling came all over my body my skin was all red and steam came out from my body, I cursed in my mind after all this pain.

I've taken a look at the other who was in the same state as me they started to emit steam from their clothes, just when I was trying to understand what was happening to my body a panel appeared in front of me.

I was taken back with this panel since I was thinking that I will no more have access to the system why can I still see my status but from what I can see, it seems like I've awakened a bloodline which will make sense of all this pain and the change in my body before I wasn't really muscular but even if I can't see my body because of people around I know I got some muscle and I can hear the voice of people around me.

The woman and the middle-aged man was also surprised it and then the milf hughh, i mean her name was Sarah she came toward me and asked

hearing what she said I looked outside of the bus and people were really running wearing the same clothing as us but it seems like the scream were not near us since there didn't look like running for their life but I started to remember what the ball of light said about energy and the animal who is changing.

I then started thinking about what to do but when I looked at others they were talking and giving their name I came next to them and I heard the high school talking to the others people on the bus.

then the middle-aged man introduced himself too

he didn't trie to talk about his life so no one asked about it the other also introduced themself

the big guy was Edward, the high school guy was hector, the bus driver Philip and the girl with the hammer was Alex and the beautiful one was claire.

I looked outside and I remarked that more people were coming the street in front of us I felt like if something terrible was coming toward us so I tried to tell them about that

the big guys responded

"We know but we need to understand something first it should not take too much time, what path did you choose I asked others and they choose the help of a faction to expect john and claire said they choose not to get help from the system and you "

Edward then started to reunite others to ask them what they will do I just looked at them and think what I wanted to do I don't have family and not friend with who I really care but I will try to call some of them I know i take my phone and called Lisa and Fred they were the only person I could call a friend even if I don't hang out too much with them

when I started to call Lisa it did not take long before she responds

" hey, Chris I don't know how to ask you that since it's really strange what is happening to us now and there this ball of light then we got!!!!..."

she was starting to scream on the phone so I calmed her.

"calm down Lisa yeah it's happened to me now I need to know where are you now and where is Fred "

she started to calm and respond to me

But when she was talking the feeling I felt before started to be so strong that I take a look outside and then I saw a big dog about 2 meters tall with sharp teeth coming out from an alley of the street my body started to tremble as if I know that if we don't move we are all dead but just after this feeling of fear my body started to heat up I looked the others and told them.

" guys I think we took too much time we need to move now Philip start the engine and drive"

after hearing my word they all looked at me and then at the dog outside the bus

Hector who didn't talk pushed Philip and told him to drive to wake him up from his shock and started driving away others grabbed their seat but we were too late the dog run at us in just a minute and caught up us he then pushed the bus on the side of the road. the bus then bumps into the car next to the road and then stopped.

hector was the first to help others they got some scratch but not a big deal, I looked outside and I didn't saw the dog but then one of the windows next to the Philip blow up and the face of the dog was just an inch from Philip so it takes out is tong and started to pull Philip with just is tong but Alex was just next to his head was quick to react even if her body was trembling she raises her hammer and slammed the nose of the dog wich make him retreat and howl in rage at her I was thinking his nose will explode but I was wrong I looked at Alex and she said

"Sorry I was afraid and I didn't use all my strength "

her body was still trembling

claire came close to her and calmed her

"it's ok at least you saved Philip"

Edward who was in the back of the bus came in front and said

"so what should we do now this monster or dog not sure is still outside "

I also wondering what to do but then again my body heat up but this time I was able to control myself but when I looked outside I wasn't afraid but wanted to fight this fog so I said

" ok guys look I don't know why but I am not afraid of this dog so I will go in front and hector will follow me "

Edward then said

" not it's too dangerous for just the two of us let think of a plan first since we got some advantage for choosing faction we should use them "

I was thinking he wanted to block me from coming out but look like it was not that

Sarah then advanced and said

"I can use something like magic so maybe I can use it against this dog and you guys attack him at the same time "

I looked at her and she gave me a look then looked at others again asking their opinion

the other accepted and we decided to let Lisa help us with her bow which she accepted immediately Alex and claire will say behind Edward while I and hector will block the dog

just when we finished the plan quickly the dog came back and throw himself on the bus look like he wanted us to really kill us but before that, I came out of the bus and he directly throws at me with his mouth open I used my shield to block him and stepped aside sending him on the floor not wanting to be throw by the weight of the dog I was surprised that I was so calm but when I was distracted.

it landed its paw on the shield and I directly fall on the floor I coughed a mouth of blood, and I started to think why I even wanted to fight this dog in the first place but it did not take too much time before hector came out of the bus and throw himself on the bus despite he was trembling of fear which gives me the chance to come at him.

The Dog then howled at us

wouffff woof!!!

I was expecting him to throw again at us but he just turned around us and when Edward was coming out of the bus he launched on him I was startled by it I quickly came next to Edward who was not so far from and pushed him aside but the dog use that to land if fang on my back but even if have the leather armor his fang went deep inside then he retracted I screamed in pain

ahhhhhhh fucking dog !!!

just after that my body heat up and I felt that the wound on my back healed a little but was still less horrible compared to before since the blood had stopped flowing, I didn't have time for that so I take my sword and charged the dog he was attacking hector who was alone since hector was on the ground it didn't pay attention to me and tried to bite hector so I take this chance and cut his hind legs which make him fall next to hector.

The eye of the dog became red and he bites hector with his sharp teeth on the shoulder who was still stunned because of falling on the ground I took my sword jumped on his body and pierced his head who was on the floor the dog howled several time before letting go hector shoulder and when it finally died I felt a wave of energy coming to the dog entering my body didn't know how it's worked or why I could feel his energy but just after the energy went in my body the back was almost closed, and I felt I was more strong than before.

I then saw a panel appearing in front of me
