《Killing [Gods] With My Sister》Chapter: 19

Ank
When I woke up, I was already at Taffy’s house.
Apparently, the “sun” inside the [Dungeon] was the place’s core itself, and it teleported us back to the surface shortly after we defeated the last boss, and, thankfully, my sister didn’t meet any monster on her way back; she said she used the generic skill we unlocked at level 30, however: [Exhale Aura].
Still, though, Taffy’s healing was really good, for when I woke up, Hunah didn't have time to even tell the older woman all about what has happened yet:
“Bones healed in exquisite positions, huge scars all over your bodies, lost limbs, and so much more… Oh, my! What just happened inside the [Dungeon]? Inside the ‘second king’?”, the retired adventurer seemed awfully merry for someone who just listed those somber clues…
“We completed it”, I said, seating up on the table where I’ve been laid on, and after noticing that my sister was already healed, flexing me re-grown arm. I laughed, seeing the beaming face of the older adventurer withering, as she visibly started to think that we wouldn’t tell her how the diving went in details; she deserved at least a little teasing for appearing so lively while facing our destroyed bodies. “Well, first we found some weird armadillos roaming around…”, then, I finally started the story. That was the least we could to Taffy after she healed us once again, after all.
Of course, my sister and I skipped… unnecessary details, but we described our adventure as vividly as we could as a way of thanking the older woman, and, in the very end of the story, we showed our status to her at once:

We received each of these [Levels] one by one (the exception being the boss fights, when we were rewarded with multiple [Levels] at once), so I didn’t really stop to think about it, but we made some progress, hu? There were yet ways to go so we could face the beings known as [Gods], who were capable of extinguishing life on the planet if they so wished; as they did multiple times already. Even with my [+40 Resistance] from my armor, and the [+80 Resistance] from Hunah’s armor, we were not close to even mere adventurers, like Taffy, who possessed hundreds of levels, but, still, progress.
“The unknown existing after every corner, the apprehension before entering a boss room, the subsequent fear of losing someone important or your own life, and the immeasurable pain of having your bones crushed and limbs torn off during the fight… Kyaaa! So cool!”, the older woman was shaking on her seat, way more excited than either of us, twins. After drinking from her black tea-thing, and calming down, she asked: “I can see the items you looted, but what about the skills you acquired?”, she made reference to Hunah’s [Deinonychus]’s tail flail, [Bison latifrons]’s horn and leather cape, and [Glyptodon]’s shell knee and elbow pads; plus my own simpler attire, constituted of entirely of [Cervalces scotti] and [Megatherium] leather (the dropped armor/clothing was purposefully light, however, for the [Dungeon] was clearly aware the outside world was hot as fuck – Hunah still carried the blankets and furry clothing inside her growing improvised bag, though…).
“We…”, I exchanged a tired look with Hunah, and both of us sighed.
“Look, it would take ages to list every single minimal development at this point, so we will shorten things up, okay? Starting with me: though there are, obviously, some differences from one item to another, I’m, generally, 20% better in dealing with a variety of short-ranged weapons, and 10% better with light armor, bows and arrows, while my spear skill is the highest, at 30% more damage right now.”

“Then, about my spells: I did as you suggested, and I’m trying to progress in all of the summoning branches, but my humanoid, dino, beast and necromantic branch are the ones who have the most advanced spells for now; the new ones worth mention being [Summon: Megatherium, Utahraptor, Megalonyx, Cervalces scotti], [Make Boss], [Make General], [Dissection]. Also, I unlocked the summoning of a bunch of new weapons, but the points I invested in this area more expanded the branch laterally than vertically, and they’re still pretty weak”, only after I mentioned the new spells I remembered that I still hadn’t checked their effects yet. Oh, well, I’d do it later.
Lifting an index finger, and pushing invisible eyeglasses up (even if she kept her eyes always closed; I mean, she was blind, right? Taffy was using some magic bulshit to see, right?), Taffy explained:
“Hm, I see. Well, Hunah’s [Class] tree may seem stagnated, underwhelming, but it still has a lot to grow, it just needs a really strong base. On the other hand, Ank’s class tree can appear overwhelming in its variety, but you shouldn’t think too much about it for now, the weakest summons have a very limited use, and you should think about them as investments for the future. I hope you understand, your classes have very a large range of specialization, and at some points this may seem as a disadvantage, but it isn’t”, the retired adventurer, then, got up from her seat, and moved towards the kitchen, concluding: “Now, while I prepare dinner, go take a bath: you may not notice this, but after 10 months killing monsters inside a [Dungeon] you two smell like a pair of necrophiliac necromancers.”
“Sure, sur-”, my sister and I laughed, and I moved, until the older woman’s words finally settled in, and we asked, once again at the same time: “H- How long again?”
“Ten months”, my sister and I repeated the words echoing inside our minds.
We opened the door to the bathroom, closed it behind us, and quickly started to undress.
“Well, at least now we know for sure that I’m not pregnant.”
“Aren’t you?”, I looked down Hunah’s belly. “Really?”
“I have enough [Strength] to explode your head with a slap, you better never make this joke again”, my sister replied, looking more serious than when she fought any of the [Dungeon]’s bosses.
“Sorry, sorry”, I smiled, only half sure that she was joking just like I was previously. “You’re just as beautiful as always”, I told the truth; Taffy said we were smelling, but we had become desensitized by our own odor, and it wasn't like we were covered in filth anyway.
“Hmphm”, my sister pouted, looking away, blushing just slightly. “Shallow compliments won't get what you want from me today; maybe this way you will think more about your jokes.” As soon as she denuded completely, however, she turned to me again, and finally noticed: “Hu? Why have you taken only your cape off yet?”
“I think I’ll need some help with my pants”, I replied, smiling, noticing the shy blushing on Hunah’s cheeks turning into a flaming red. She mumbled something, but I stepped closer, resting my right forearm on the wall behind her. “Now, be a good sister, and kneel down”, she obliged, already starting to pant, and more. And I had to say, there was something special in seeing her obeying me completely nude, while I still wore clothes. Both of us were visibly excited, while a translucent slimy pool grew drop by drop on the floor under Hunah, my pants became tighter along my thigh, highlighting me. “First, unbutton my pants...”
I hoped Taffy expected already a long bath because we surely deserved a rest before going after the last “king”.

Join the crazy adventures of a lazy God and his unwilling follower's rise to power. The first few Arc's of the story is an Academy arc. I think you will know if you like the story by chapter 6 as the first chapter may be confusing (or sucks, idk I like it so whatever)._________ The story is a slow burn. If you are expecting quick progression, I suggest looking at some of the other great stories on RR. I personally enjoy and Patreon several, but that's not what I'm writing. That might hurt my chances of trending anytime soon (or ever lol), but that is fine with me. I'm sure some of you will appreciate the story as much as I do in writing it. FAQ: The story has elements of xianxia and wuxia along with some GameLit (at some point). The story takes place in an age where tech has advanced to a complete integration with magic. Imagine everything running on mana or qi instead of electricity, and you will get the idea. There will be crafting but not until later in the story. It's actually a core plot elemenet for Layla. I'm writing this story for my own enjoyment and as a way of relieving stress in my life. I'm not a pro author or a naturally gifted wordsmith. I don't have beta readers and every chapter posted is a first draft. I'm still learning and will strive to improve as I continue the story. If you don't speak up I can't work on improving as an author. I welcome any criticism and encouragement that would help me become a better writer. I can't believe you read this far down! ;) Enjoy the story. --Cover Credit-- Cover art (emblem) by: Oxana Che Cover Design by: Miblart
