《Ardent Tears》Guide — Beasts of Ferran - The Vhoraks

Vhoraks
Vhoraks are a type of Moon-touched Creature, Originally, they were a rather mundane mammal akin to a ferret or a weasel. The main difference is that they have notably longer legs. This all changed at the start of the last epoch, 1926 years before the naming of the third Ardent Flame of Midiris.
For those that don't use Ferran calendar, this aligns with the double solar eclipse anomaly that caused the first generation of Ferran to arise from the humans that lived under the lunar shadow during totality.
As previously mentioned, Vhoraks are Moon-touched, much like the Ferran, and were thus dramatically changed by the event. They went from small carnivorous mammals to being ferocious predators with needle like fangs and horrifying razor claws. This change also came with a significant increase in size and the gaining of a third eye.
The Vhoraks can be recognised by their long slender forms, white fur and distinctive red patterns. Should you see a Vhoraks, run and pray they didn't see you. Each of their eyes serves a different purpose that makes them deadly optical trackers. Their left eye can see infra-red, their right eye can sea scents, and their third eye can see auras. To make matters worse, a single Vhoraks can eat an entire person in a single sitting.
There is, however, one trait that makes Vhoraks even more terrifying than any of the ones that have been discussed so far. That is their ability to control the wind and use it as a weapon or tool. This required a large amount of energy which is fuelled by their voracious appetites. This is similar to an Ardents ability to generate/emit energy (typically heat or electricity, but sometimes light) with their anger. Like with Ardents, they don't actually eat enough to fully fuel the ability, so is believed that the additional power comes from their connection to the other side.
