《The day I became World Administrator》6. Tutorial

A book suddenly appeared in front of Isaac, like the one that appeared when he reappeared. The book floated in front of him and opened, turning its pages before arriving at a new text.
[Entry: Mana]
A little confused, Isaac calmly observed the authentication button on the book, unable to know why it was not authenticated.
"Encrypted?" he wondered, pushing the button.
The instant he touched the button, intense pain flooded his mind. But this time, unlike when it reappeared, the pain wasn't just about suffering. Before his eyes, hundreds of thousands or even millions of windows opened, displaying lines and lines of code.
Isaac, unable to read the contents of the windows or understand their meaning because of their speed, only watched as he tried to overcome the intense mental pain that accompanied the appearance of all his indescribable information.
After several seconds, all the windows finally closed and the headaches slowly ceased. Although the pain was deep, it was nothing compared to what Isaac had felt earlier. Quickly, he got back on his feet and rested his eyes on the book.
Shortly after, a new window appeared next to the book.
[System] Warning: An entity attempted to perform an Administrator operation a second ago.
[System] Location: Latitude (43 ° 36 '39 N) Longitude (3 ° 52' 38 E)
[System] The attempt failed.
[System] Actions:

"..."
[System] You have found 1 [Admin Message].
[System] Reading message ...
- "Sit down a bit. I'll explain it to you." The voice then left a moment of silence, as if to wait for Isaac to be seated, which he did not do. He wasn't really in the mood to sit down.
After a few seconds, the voice picked up.
- "Good. As you could see, you don't have exactly all the Administrator rights. No, rather: You have them, but you can't access them. You are a smart person so you should understand: Whether or not you have access to something doesn't give you much if you don't know how to use it. "

Listening to the voice, Isaac nodded positively.
Having studied for a long time, particularly in Computer Science, he knew that the fact that someone has the authority to enter and control a system does not give him the skills to use it. Like having access to the control panel of a nuclear power plant without knowing what it does.
Granted with a rudimentary knowledge it is easy to navigate the basics of the system, but until now Isaac had no idea how the world worked or the system that runs it.
So he decided to continue listening.
- "Although in terms of brute force, you are far superior to most of the inhabitants of Falanx, you are nonetheless a new Administrator. Also, to introduce yourself a little to the controls, consider the locks that I placed as tutorials. "
Isaac thought for a moment and immediately understood: "So I can, I have the rights to unlock them, but I don't know how to unlock them." A holographic padlock consisting of 0s and 1s appeared in front of him.
- "To access an aspect of the world, you will first need to know how it works to avoid blowing everything up. Once you think you know how a locked aspect works, then you can try your hand at unlocking as if you were taking an exam." He paused for a few moments.
The holographic padlock suddenly opened and a sort of empty window appeared with buttons placed a bit haphazardly.
- "Once the exam has been validated and your knowledge confirmed, the Administrator control panel for this aspect will be unlocked. From this, you can control and monitor it at will. That's all."
The window disappeared.
[System] End of message.
"Strange ..." he said to himself. With such an advanced system capable of handling an entire world, Isaac figured it was probably run by Super Artificial Intelligence (AIS). Making and carrying out commands would thus probably amount to simple phrases like "dig a river".

But with what he had just learned, the system seemed to be like a computer with a simple operating system reserved for the elite knowing how to use it?
It was a bit ridiculous, but who was he to criticize a system capable of handling an entire world. All in all, having to research and analyze this world the hard way would surely be a good experience, especially if he had to administrate it.
"If I can unlock everything, for sure I'll create an SIA ... Sia, that would be a good name for a system that runs the world." he thought, taking another mental note.
After this quick succession of information, Isaac turned his gaze on the ground. Instinctively, his vision seemed to be able to change from normal vision to "magical" vision, allowing him to see mana currents in the ground.
With a glance, he could notably observe the concentration of mana still present in the ground despite the sphere having been removed. Afterward, a new thought crossed his mind.
"But ... I'm ... still naked actually," he thought. "F * CK !!!!"
Reflexively, he put his hands down to hide his private parts and looked around, his face flushing slightly. "With the protective aura around me, I barely have the feeling of being naked !!! I am neither cold nor hot !! What a pain. Quick, a big leaf."
Immediately Isaac set out to find a possible plant that could provide him with a leaf large enough to use as clothing. But unfortunately for him, the only plants large enough for that were probably in the forest, much further.
He then looked at the trees, the bushes and everything around before an idea occurred to him. Immediately he closed his eyes and began to concentrate.
"Okay ... the aura responds to emotions and sensations. So if I ever think about it hard enough, it should be okay, right?" More than a question, it was above all a supplication.
After a few seconds of extreme concentration, white filaments then began to appear around Isaac and began to weave, mingling, intermingling with each other and vice versa.
The young man then opened his eyes slightly to see if what he was trying to do was working and smirked: "It works! Yes!"
After some time, the white filaments finally produced a large white fabric emitting a white glow illuminating the surroundings starting to darken. Isaac then took the fabric and put it on so that it formed a long mage robe.
The fabric touched the ground and covered his entire body and his hands, like a child in a garment far too big for him. Isaac felt much better when covered. Although it didn't change much in terms of temperature, subconsciously, he already felt much better.
Isaac looked at the clothes for a long time, visibly satisfied with their accomplishment. "Aura suit," he thought. "I am going to name you Vestments of Aura."
[System] Conditions met.
[System] You have unlocked the title [Mana Weaver].
[System] You have unlocked the title [Finally dressed].
He then smiled when he saw the first title, visibly satisfied before reading the last line of the window. Breathing lightly from his nose, Isaac turned and walked towards the nearest forest again, lighting up the surroundings with his robe like a lamp.
The sun had almost set. A few scarlet rays continued to light up the sky as across the horizon the stars began to appear one by one until Isaac noticed something relatively unexpected as he looked up at the sky.
"Two moons?" he thought, looking at the two white globes glistening in the night sky. "The tides must be a mess here ..." he continued, continuing his walk towards the forest.
"Tonight's mission: Find a place to sleep."

In Pursuit of Bark's Finest
On the frontiers of transhumanity’s expansion into the galaxy thousands of light years from the light of Sol, things can get rather chaotic. There are countless millions of nascent interstellar nations securing their interests, pirate ships prospering off plunder and deniable mercenary work, dissidents setting up their own civilizations, and other groups all trying to push an agenda. When these groups crash into each other, the results can become extremely messy and convoluted. Recently, a frontier nation calling itself the Red Star Union has found itself at the focal point of one such complication. A freighter under their protection has been sabotaged, hijacked in interstellar space, and robbed of its cargo. This would be bad enough even if all it were carrying was luxury goods, but the freighter Nebula Plow was carrying more than just normal trade goods. Indeed, her cargo of Non-Orientable Wormholes for use in starship power plants was both very expensive and very, very dangerous. Now the Red Star Union has to worry about a pirate crew running around with several extra devices capable of converting matter into antimatter with negligible energy cost. With those, the pirates could be capable of inflicting untold damage if allowed to leverage their ill-gotten gains into a stronger position, a possibility the Union finds completely intolerable. Unfortunately, all that the Red Star Union has to go on for evidence is two names; that of the captain, and that of the ship. The Captain is going by the possible pseudonym of Fuller, while the ship is named Bark’s Finest. And thus the orders came down to the Union’s Bureau of Starforce Intelligence: find more information on these pirates, conclusively identify them, and figure out where exactly they’ve gone to ground so that the fleet can crush them before they get established. Of the many agents that the bureau assigned to this mission, one would happen to play an important role: Field Agent Madeline Zargosty. This is her story. This story is entirely pre-written, and will have one chapter released per week. If you want to read it all ahead of schedule and get access to some premium-exclusive bonus content, the entire book is available for purchase; links to the appropriate storefront pages will be posted at the end of each chapter. This story is also being posted to Scribblehub.

Author's note: Things to expect: - Adventure, magic, and myth? Sure - Action and a bit of dry humor? Why not~ - OP MC & VILLAINS. - Mind the tags. It's a litrpg and slow-paced. - Oh! MC is a bit suicidal! Things not to expect: - Romance. I've no intention of adding romance in the foreseeable future. - Good grammar (Fair warning: I'm not native and might have some issues with the language. I hope you guys will be helpful and kind to point out the wrongs.) Greetings! 'The Direwolf Sorcerer' is my first work, so be supportive and kind by pointing out my flaws. Thanks! ( This went by the name 'I died & reincarnated as wolf in fantasy world' almost a year ago in RR. Due to personal reasons, I dropped it only after 4 chapters. Now I'm writing it again, just with a new title.) *UPDATES EVERY SATURDAY I've plans for the cover art, but that's for later.
