What do you want to do with the time you have left? It's a question most people never consider. Too busy thinking they have more time.

4 Hours Later (Lighthome Time) - Ignatius - The Roc’s Nest
Molly sloshes over with another pitcher of beer. Dear friend. We don’t need it, but we kinda do. I ain’t sending it back.
We’re the only Dark Elves in the tavern, nest, thingy. Probably. It’s definitely a tavern - they sold us beer. I think this place actually started as a roc’s nest. It looks like it was built by a giant bird. Also, the bar is a giant bird skull. Suggests something of a hostile take-over. Anything can be a thingy. That’s just math.
Molly tops up my pint. We’re probably the only Dark Elves in the bar. It’s hard to say for sure. We’re practically identical to our Light Elf cousins. Our differences are purely philosophical. To blend in, I pretend that time doesn’t exist. Beer helps.
Roland storms into the tavern. Uh-oh. He’s grumpy. Either he fucked up or I did. I’m afraid to ask. He slams himself into our booth, sending glasses tumbling. My shadow snakes out and catches mine, returns it to me. "Thanks." I murmur. Roland and Molly tense up, but I'm not worried. No other patrons noticed - my shadow is very discreet.
This small amount of excitement wakes Molly enough to notice Roland's mood. “Did we fuck up?”
“No.” Roland grabs the pitcher, drains it. “I lost Copycat.”
I shrug. “It happens. She’s a runner.”
“She didn’t run.” snaps Roland. “She was poached by Longstrider.”
“Longstrider?” I’m baffled. “The fuck? You sure? There’s lots of drunk gnomes.”
Roland grunts. “Had his first mate with him.”

“Cyan?” Well shit. That’s a bizarre complication. Blast from the past. “I thought The Silence had scrambled their brains.”
“She did. Repeatedly.”
“I guess it didn’t take.” Longstrider probably didn’t have enough brains to scramble. Cyan’s a worry, tho. Guy’s a fucking weapon.
Roland shrugs. “Hard to say. Longstrider always seemed a little brain damaged. He never even saw me. Or he’s playing a long con. Fucking Longstrider. Anyway, sober up. I need help.”
I shake my head. “Can’t. I got a line on Vali. His bounty is double Copycat’s. It’s gonna take you, me, and a team of expendables to bring him in.”
Roland grunts. “So we leave Molly to track Copycat?”
“Naw, I have a better idea.” I turn to Molly. “How are you with awkward silences?”
Molly says nothing.
I laugh. Her comedic timing is impeccable. Or, she’s asleep. It’s funny either way.
“Grab another pitcher.” I tell Roland. “We’ll sort it out in the morning.”

HELM.ONLINE
“We all die but not all adventurers truly live” Helm.Online, a Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online game boasting “Grounded Virtual Realism” and “An Immersive Reality Unlike Any Other”, takes the world by storm, becoming a resounding international success. H.O creates a virtual world unlike any seen before, where players aren’t just simple adventurers. They stand at the forefront of a war against primordial, cosmic beings known as The Nevermore who seek to break the inhabitants of the virtual world. Kazim is fed up with hearing about the hit game. Having played many games in Virtual Reality, he writes off H.O as another boring addition to a quickly oversaturating market but the phenomenons’ constant media barrage eventually stimulates his curiosity and he finally joins the millions of players in the fight against The Nevermore. There, Kazim discovers Helm.Online’s unforgiving and random nature and immediately struggles to find his footing. But, with the help of three new friends and an impending in-game event, Kazim just might find a way to keep the game from kicking his ass and have some fun while doing it. *This is the story of Kazim's journey to the maximum rank in a virtual reality game that's trying to be as realistic and immersive as possible. Nothing more, nothing less. No harems or anything like that. *Feedback, bad and good, is always appreciated. I mean seriously, tear my story to shreds. Its my first story and It helps me grow and get better. This is a hobby but I have a lot of fun writing my own stories and reading stories created by others. Thank you *Chapter every week, they may be out sooner than that

Reincarnated As A Benevolent Tyrant
NOTICE: This story is under rewrite. New novel has been published. Search **RE: Tyranny** in Royalroad for the new novel.Link- Re: Tyranny Thank You! ------------------------ "Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory." What a brilliant line, isn't it? James was a boy who had nothing to worry about. A happy family, a nice childhood. What's more to ask? But one day, everything changed. He lost everything in the blink of an eye. The only thing left for him were the memories and dreams of the past. Trying to cope up with the loss, he cut all ties with the outside world and became a shut-in, having no one left to call his own or to rely upon. There was nothing left for him in this world, but still he lived and soon found a purpose in his life, which lead him to create something that could change the world. And on the very day when his dream project was about to come to the light, he lost his life, trying to save a little girl from an unfortunate accident. "Will I ever be remembered...? I wish... someone would." These were the last word James mumbled before his conscious faded into darkness. But his life didn't end there, as he is transmigrated into the body of an arrogant, worthless Duke's son in some unknown land with no memories about who is or any idea about where he is. In an era of political turmoil and civil strife, the Duke's son is forced to prove his worth for inheriting the title. Will he be able to accept the new reality and prove himself by leading this country into a prosperous future? Or will he cease to the pressure of his past and lose everything once more? Disclaimer: This is not a power-fantasy or a 'feel-good' story. If you feel a protagonist should never lack agency (especially in early story) or make compromises because of difficult circumstances, then this fiction is probably not for you. It is a story that delves deep into real world sociological/psychological subjects and explores many topics of gray morality. I wrote it because I like stories that make me think more about the world around us, not to detach myself from reality. Some aspects you can expect based on the tags include:- [Kingdom Building]: political drama, geopolitical/geoeconomic strategy- [Army Building]: massive battles featuring in-depth planning, combined arms, and operational logistics- [Identity Crisis]: someone translated into a whole different world having to rebuild their identity and life aims The story starts off slowly, more like a slice of life than action-adventure, but I guarantee you it will get there. For those who want to skip the slow part, start from Chapter - 35 (Beginning of The End) (The whole Disclaimer section is copied from Aorii as I am too busy writing the complete story.) And yes, just for General Knowledge, James will become OP throughout the story. He is not some legendary guy who will pull out Excalibur & conquer the entire world. Update Schedule - One chapter a day. This novel is also available on Scribble Hub. And again, I humbly thank you for reading it. I hope you stick throughout the journey.
