"Imagine me shouting this isn't even my final form! after you were distracted." Edmund guffawed as he carved into a pumpkin.

"And Alexander would magically be able to talk again and shout that your manapoints are over 9000." Kelly snickered, carrying a bowl of candy towards the couch.

"Why me? Wouldn't Ray be more fitting for that role?" Alexander grumbled, spraying more fake spider webs all over the place.

"We are quite happy that it was your final form. I don't think we would have liked the suspense." Ray and Rocky chirped as they pulled skull lanterns along, hanging them up on the ceiling and walls. "But we wonder how well you'd burn?"

Evergreen pulled along a skull themed blanket, throwing it over a huge dining table and huffing pridefully at the perfect landing. Following behind her the nameless teen put down paper plates on the table, looking over each and everyone of them. "Tiny kitties.." He whispered with a grin. Nine black cats decorated the current plate, rolling around hugging pumpkins with different expressions.

"You shouldn't touch the candy, it's for the kids and food is ready." Dave admonished Kelly as he brought out two plates of nuggets formed into spooky skeletons. "No final forms today and no burning down anything. John, tell them." He said, walking back towards the kitchen.

"Be good kids, listen to mum. Otherwise no trick or treat for you this year." John spoke gruffly, lighting up candles before putting them on the table.

"But daaaad.." Edmund whined.

"Do you regret making that joke now?" Kelly laughed and shuddered, rubbing her hands along her goosebumps.

An indignant squeak later, everyone finished up their tasks as they decorated the room in a festive atmosphere. Ropey and Dave brought in one dish after another, filling up the table with all kinds of sweet and savory meals.

"Well, I think that should be everything." Dave looked around as everyone gathered towards the tables siting down in their chairs. Ropey wiggled encouragingly, squeaking in agreement.

"This could have ended much differently." Everyone shuddered as a creepy voice echoed through the room. "This could have ended much differently." The voice turned multiple tones darker, slowly growing distorted. "This could-"

"Alright, that's enough." Kelly swung her mace at the tape recorder as everyone looked at her in surprise. "I mean.. like, we are all festive and happy right? No need for the spoops and creeps? Leave that to the kiddos in their outfits after the meal?"

Turning back to the people at the table and the decoration Dave sighed in content.

"Happy festive days and Happy Halloween."
