《The First Corridor of Old Works》Chapter 86: Inwardly Turned Rage

“You have to see plane 88.”
Sweating still, Pry began to feel, watching Tye, the terrible frustration and incapacity; it was everywhere: failure. Incapacity. Impotence. Inwardly turned rage as a consequence, and the harder he tried: the worse it got. It brought it all back. But this should be easy for him.
It wasn't happening; it simply was not going to happen to the extent that almost by mistake, almost by his willing Tye on, his desperate wish to help - him - something appeared.
Out of two half-indications of shadows; turning past each other, a fold in reality became an arm, a torso; a head, legs, and the rest. A man.
Before long a man. - Bursting in joy at the success of Tye-Shad, he felt, Pry for a second, elation at the fact of – not just the lad's success, but what this meant: decay, entropy, the collapsing-beneath-world of no growth and infinite emptiness; the no growth planet, the no increase philosophy and reality, in that instant it dissipated, all of it, because Tye - and what he so obviously symbolised for the future of his species-race; it wasn't dead. There'd be growth. There could even be increase because -
A room formed around them; two men: a ceilingless, walless space that allowed their seeing into it, and – Tye let out some kind of half-suppressed, animal ululation and stormed past and out – past them both – he was out.
“Pry, you -”
“What - ?”
Then he saw it.
Pheel Cazzo, scribbler.
Art[ion] Mlckk'n Inchance-rify; the Duke of Want, and the Prince of Colourful Lies - the detecting of them anyway and whatever he was and the several names. The Prince with the Several Names, possibly, but this was a parenthesis - because it was Pheel and Art[ion] Mlckk'n Inchance-rify, seeing it there himself.
Tenns followed after the boy, so that, in there now himself - he was really seeing it all there, himself.
The entire scene alone.

No, the Overseers, whoever they are, have designated him to be an experimental core.
