WARNING: MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD
Overall synopsis:
The village of Pike's Green is devastated by a brutal raid, carried out by the forces of the White Queen, an enigmatic sorceress whose heart of power lies far to the west. After defending their village, a band of young men journeys forth to join the war against her, leaving behind their home to venture into danger and the unknown.
This is not their story.
Years later, the Queen's War is over. The White Queen lies dead, though the land still bears the scars of her cruelty. This is a story of Martimeos, a wizard, and the younger brother of one of the men who left Pike's Green to join the war. His brother, unfortunately, never returned, and no one is certain what has happened to him, though most assume he is dead.
So Martimeos sets forth into lands wild and untamed, through places that bear the fading echoes of the catastrophic Queen's War, in search of his brother - even if all he expects to find at the end of his journey is an answer to how his brother died. Along the way, he meets new companions with dark pasts of their own. And slowly, as he follows the trail, he begins to learn of what his brother did during the war, and the sort of man he was.
BOOK ONE
THE GLIMMERLING:
We join Martimeos already some part of the way into his journey. He has searched the lands some time for his brother, but finds that the trail has grown cold. On the dubious advice of a daemon, he journeys to the cursed lakeside village of Silverfish. Along the way, he meets the swamp-witch Elyse, who proves an odd but reliable companion, one who insists on following him seemingly on a whim, though it becomes clear that she holds secrets of her own. As they journey to Silverfish, they find that its curse is dark indeed. Together, they face the origins of the village's tragedy.

THE BOGGE-RIDER:
Having won a clue to his brother's trail from Silverfish, Martimeos and Elyse journey together now to the town of Twin Lamps. They find the town terrorized and the farmlands haunted by a dread dark rider, fond of beheading his victims, one who wields grim and mysterious powers. They meet Kells, an easy-going member of the town guard, who agrees to guide them about the town and aids them in Martim's search for his brother's trail. But as Martimeos searches for clues about his brother, the dark rider's attacks only grow more bold and terrible, and it becomes clear that, whoever it is, Martim will not be able to move on from the town until the mysterious rider is dealt with.
HADLEY:
Moving on from Twin Lamps, Martimeos journeys with Kells and Elyse into the mountainous lands of the Crosscraw - barbarians who had served the White Queen, the very folk that bought ruin to his village of Pike's Green all those years ago. There he finds them hunted and pursued, slaughtered to near extermination, by a dark creature known as the Bogge-King. Martimeos struggles as he finds constant reminders of his painful past amongst the shattered remnants of the Crosscraw - and discovers the ultimate fate of one of his brother's traveling companions, who disappeared in the fire and fury of the Queen's War.

8 86Second Life's Game: Hell
(LitRPG/Fantasy) *** Disclaimer: I changed the title of this fiction because I realised that religious people may be offended by it. This fiction is purely intended to entertain and is not based upon any religion. *** What comes after death? The Afterlife. A world split into three layers. Heaven, Nexus and Hell. The Afterlife is harsh, cruel, and sometimes downright unfair, with everything based upon luck. A world with a game system, which enables the residents to level up, and gain special attributes. A tower lies in the middle of it all, named the Core, which provides passage to God, who will bestow on you your greatest desires. Unfortunately, to get to God, one must conquer 27 stages and battle against others wishing to meet him too. Ikite, a young teenager, gets killed by a gang of criminals and reawakens in Hell with a different body and life. As his two new personalities meld into one, he becomes an 'Awakener', someone who has their previous life's personality sharing their mind. However, he realises he has no combat perks, a bad class and a peasant's life in Hell, the lowest layer. At first, he decides on a hardworking, yet peaceful life with his mother, but bad luck wouldn' leave him alone. Forced to journey where he doesn't want to journey, will he overcome his obstacles, change his perspectives, and climb the tower? Or will he sink into the lifeless state, just like many of those around him... Kick back and relax with this book as it's your traditional LitRPG, with a twist or two here and there. New chapter at least every two days (unless previously stated).
8 140All for Tartarus
And Tartarus for all. Following the murder of their parents, five brothers take the law into their own hands. Their brand of justice becomes addictive, though. Before long, the untouchable lower classes of Tartarus' under-city hail the young men as heroes, eager to see the syndicates that rule over them starting to sweat. The self-styled vigilantes soon find that there can be no return to a normal life... especially when one of their number refuses to let them. This novel takes its inspiration from Death Note, Sin City, Watchmen, Banks novels, and various noir books and movies. It features strong themes, often portrayed in a gritty and theatrical manner. Reader discretion is advised... but for those of you who like that stuff, enjoy! Updates every Friday.
8 89You Give Me Problems (Van McCann)
Whoever you're mixing your drinks with, is dying to, go to town on you... ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ He was wearing his usual uniform of black skinny jeans and a sweater, although the sweater he was wearing now was especially significant. It was the one I fell asleep on a few nights after we'd met. "Hi Van." ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Carmen meets Ryan "Call me Van, it's more class" McCann at some seedy bar she gets dragged to by a new friend. To say things move fast is an understatement. But as fast as they move, as painfully slow they end. While Van and his mates get the band rising quicker and quicker, Carmen can't help her feelings as she sees her striped sweater wearing messy haired cockish boy become the rockstar he swore he would.
8 78Realm || A Game Of Thrones Fanfiction
'I think deep down inside, everyone likes to see themselves sitting on the Iron Throne. Some just refuse to listen to their desire for power. Others give in to it. And others let other people do the hard work for them. But no matter who you are or have become, no matter what your heart desires or how much power you would like to gain; we will all burn if we don't stand strong together.' || This is a Game of Thrones fanfiction. The story takes place somewhere at the start of season 7. This fanfiction does not follow the entire plot of the new season. Some characters are not where they should be according to the actual story. I do not own Game of Thrones, nor the characters. I do own Anthea Lannister and some other characters.||
8 103Legends meet the 100
DC's Legends of Tomorrow accidentally end up on Earth 100 (which is where the events of the 100 take place) right before S3 E07 and without the whole Alie problem going on. The legends are the group at the end of season 5 plus Charlie and without Mick's daughter (Zari, Nate, Charlie, Behrad, Constantine, Ava, Mick, Sara, Astra). This crossover wasn't originally my idea, but I'll try to stay true to most events and characters.
