Water Filtration Change—2.5 years.
“World Status.”
Infected—6.4 Billion.
Estimated Total Infection—4 Months.
Viral Dormancy—5.5 Years.
Frank headed toward the kitchen.
He paused, staring at a picture of his deceased family.
“Come on, girl!” He clapped. “Breakfast!”
Lyla ran up, wagged her tail, and barked.

The new world will be, like many others, one in a medieval-type setting with traces of magic and the like; though I hope to make better use of this than most others who simply steal ideas from classical novels or other sources.
