《Light of Returning Darkness》CH 64 : SHOP OWNER

Sun Wuji scanned the weapons in the room and found that all of them were high-grade weapons, making him even more astounded.
Although the number of high-grade weapons within the city could be up to a couple of hundreds, each of them was still quite rare and people easily fought each other for it. Yet, within a single room, there were at least a hundred pieces of those. That was almost half the amount the whole city had.
"This doesn't make any sense. How come the weapon shop of this level was remained unknown to the citizens in the city? And why did the shop have to conceal themselves like so? It was like they were trying to avoid customers as much as possible. But if they wised to avoid customers, why would they bother opening the shop at all?"
A series of questions popped up within Sun Wuji’s mind.
After he came back to where he was and realized what he came here to do, Sun Wuji asked out: “Can I really choose anyone in this room, Shop Owner?”
The middle-aged man courteously replied: “Please, don’t call me ‘Shop Owner’. I’m just the manager of this shop. As for the owner, he was in the back making some weapons. And yes, Young Master, you can choose any weapon within this room with the money you have in that bag.”
Sun Wuji called back a sentence the manager said before: “Earlier, you said that I can’t afford the items in the room further in. Does that mean there are even higher-grade weapons in your shop? Don’t tell me you are selling Titanium weapons as well. Hehe.” He gave out a dry laugh after finishing his sentence.
Everyone knew how important and valuable Titanium weapons were. Who would be so ignorant as to sell something like those? However, the shop manager indifferently answered: “Yes, we have a couple of dozens of Titanium armaments here in our shop.”
“A COUPLE DOZENS!!”
Sun Wuji’s heart almost jumped out of his body when he heard the number.
Feng Luotian lightly chuckled: “How was it, Brother Sun? More formidable than your so-called most famous shop, right?”
Sun Wuji could do nothing but raise both hands, admitting his defeat. Even though this shop was not famous, it was the most formidable shop he had ever seen in this city and in his life.

Feng Luotian requested: “Manager, we would like to enter the room further in. Is this enough to ensure our entry?”
Following that Feng Luotian touched his spatial ring and retrieved another ‘priceless’ green blade.
Sun Wuji saw this and became shocked and excited at the same time: “Brother Feng, you!! I thought you said you only have four, then you gave them all up!! How come you have another one?”
After they were out of the exam site, with all the commotion about the aforementioned blades, Sun Wuji asked around to inquire an intel regarding the blades.
Once he knew how valuable they were, Sun Wuji almost strangled Feng Luotian to death as it was not worth it just to restrain a clone. There were many other ways to do it as he knew that his brother just wanted to show off his wealth.
At the very least, one blade should be enough to finish the job. With the momentum boosted by Tu Lingxi and his confidence in his aim when he used [Bouldering Toss], there was no way he would miss if the target was moving at the speed of a snail.
That second blade was completely unnecessary and wasteful.
Sun Wuji even held some exasperation and irritation inside until now, thinking that: “If you don’t want it that much, give it to me instead, you bastard!!”
After Sun Wuji thought that the precious treasures were all gone, now Feng Luotian flaunted out another one. How could he not be excited about this?
Feng Luotian flatly replied to his brother’s question: “Would you show your entire account statement to anyone? Once the adults know that, they will try to think of a way to take a piece of the pie, even more so when we are still just children in their eyes. They will think that we can’t utilize the treasure to its utmost benefits, which in truth, we absolutely can.”
Sun Wuji rolled his eyes at the guy’s domineering claim, and thought: “You? Utilize the treasure to its utmost benefits when you used it just to show off? Go to hell, Brother!!”
The store manager’s squinted eyes slightly widened at the sight of the green blade: “A Titanium material? This way, Young Masters.”
Although he could somehow keep his cool, the heart inside was beating so loud that one could hear it clearly if they got close. He did not waste any more time and immediately led the two into the deeper room of the shop.

Upon entering the room inside, they saw five rows of weapon displaying cabinets. Each cabinet had a description of the weapon’s history, feature, power, element, ability compatibility, and skill compatibility. All of the weapons within this room were Titanium weapons.
Sun Wuji could not hold himself any longer. He jumped around the room like a monkey in front a table full of food but did not know where to start.
Feng Luotian smiled and shook his head at his brother’s manner, and turned to the store manager: “I’d like to meet the shop owner. I want to discuss business with him and order some customizing weapons.”
This surprised the shop manager. It was already quite rare for one customer to enter their shop, but now someone wished to order a customizing weapon. Nevertheless, this was still a business chance to incur profit. There was no reason to reject: “This way, then, Young Master.”
Feng Luotian called Sun Wuji and said: “Brother Sun. I’ll go and meet the shop owner for a bit. You can look around in this room and find yourself some weapon. Just say so when you found it. If the money Master gave isn’t enough, I’ll pay the rest.”
Sun Wuji asked: “Why can’t I go with you? I want to meet the shop owner as well. I want to what he looks like.”
Feng Luotian: “You don’t have to go. The manager said the shop owner was making weapons. He might need some time before he finished this forge. You can choose the weapon in the meantime. After I talk with the owner, I’ll invite him to meet you, okay?”
Sun Wuji pondered for a bit then agreed: “Okay.”
Feng Luotian followed the manager to the back of the store while Sun Wuji carefully read each weapon’s description to see if it was a match for him.
When Feng Luotian was following the store manager on the alley towards the back room, he started to hear continuous gongs of the hammer hitting some steel. The sounds were getting louder and louder as they approached.
Once they arrived at the room in the back, the manager knocked a few times before calling: “Boss, someone would like to meet you and order some custom-made.”
The gongs stopped.
A moment later, the door opened as a voice was heard: “Please enter.”
Anyone who saw the forsaken and broken storefront would think that the shop owner should be an old man with a humpy back and a walking stick or a huge muscular man full of beard, not caring for the store or his own appearance.
However, the voice was that of a young man.
After he entered the room, Feng Luotian saw a delicate teenager who was probably two or three years older than him. His limbs were all thin and his skin was smooth like a woman. This shop owner seemed to be more of a weak young master and not at all a forger.
But please do not be fooled by his constitution.
Feng Luotian was also fooled in his past life as this shop owner had actually lived for more than a century.
When a cultivator grew in power, their body would stay more active as Theríon flowing throughout their vein. This made them look young even though they were actually an old fogey.
For example, Mei Xue’er looked even younger than her own daughter. Combining with her innocent and childish personality, any stranger would think she was just child who was not even twelve.
As for the shop owner’s thin body, this was a simple muscle contraction using Theríon to move more conveniently when he was working.
The shop owner greeted Feng Luotian: “Hi, my name is Ming Zhuo. Please have a seat.” Then he too slowly took a seat opposite to the Feng Luotian’s.
Although he appeared to be quite weak, the info from Kronos was saying otherwise.
