“Oh, yeah. You need that so that it can be given to Medea. I forgot about that. Though, how are you going to take it off?” I asked as I had never once been able to get the mask off. It fused to my face so I have no clue how to get it off.
“Don’t move.” Tim said as she walked up to me.
“What are you going to do?” I asked as she walked in front of me.
“It will only take a second.” she said unconvincingly before grabbing the mask with her hand. As soon as she did it felt as if my entire face was being ripped off. I screamed in agony as the mask desperately clung to my face as if its life depended on it. I could feel where the mask had fused with my eyes, mouth, and nose being ripped away. As if pieces of my own flesh were being frayed to prevent it from coming off my face. I tried to stop Tim but I couldn’t move. It was like my entire body was being forced to stay still.
As soon as the mask had been ripped off my face I collapsed to the ground in pain. The skin on my face had been ripped off completely. My eyes had turned red from the strain on them and blood dripped from anywhere that my mauled face could. Thankfully, my face began healing as soon as the mask had been removed.
“You could have told me that it would hurt!” I yelled angrily.
“I could have, yes. However, then it would have been much harder to get you to stay still long enough.” Tim replied as if she had thought this through.
“Whatever, just send me to Medea’s ritual.” I said as my face healed up completely.

“You keep acting as if I’m a taxi. It’s starting to get on my nerves how pushy you are getting.” she said with an annoyed tone.
“Do you think I care? I want out of this repetitiveness. The best way to do that is to get to a point where nothing is set in stone. So I have to get past any point that I’ve already been. Once I show up at Medea’s ritual then I won’t have to rely on you anymore.” I said as I was still a bit mad due to the pain I was in.
“Fine, just wear this.” Tim said before giving me a bandana.
“What’s this for?” I asked with a pained look.
“To cover your face. Wouldn’t want you to alter the past right off the bat.” Tim said with an indignant look. Seeing her act like this made me realize that there was still something I had yet to do. It wasn’t something I could do anywhere else but here so this might be my last chance.
“You know, I’ve never really thanked you properly.” I said.
“What do you mean?” Tim asked with a confused look.
“For sending me to the past. I met so many people that I can call friends and get to experience so much because of you and your brother. If you hadn’t then I would have been a pretty miserable existence where I was, so I thank you.” I said with a slight bow and a smile. Whether it was the fact that she never expected me to act that way or because she had never thought I would be grateful, she looked like she was about to cry.
“W-why would… why would you thank me?” she asked as her lips quivered. I think I may have been the only person to make her get to the verge of tears. To be honest, I felt bad that she looked like she was about to cry. Unlike her usual emotionless facial expressions.

“Because you gave me something better. Yeah, it may have been painful at times both emotionally and physically but that’s a part of life. If I only focus on the bad stuff then how could I ever have a smile on my face. So I thank you, for everything.” I said with a smile that had been hidden behind a mask for so long.
“That’s not fair…” Tim said as the tears began to flow. She raised her tiny fists up in the air and brought them down on my head without any force behind them at all. “Aren’t you supposed to kill me? Didn’t you promise that idiot Oberon that you would kill me? He gave you a special arrow to do it, right? So why be nice to me?” She asked as tears continued to fall and snot began dripping from her nose. I didn’t even know that gods had mucus.
“Well… I technically kept up my end of that deal with Oberon already since I, you know, killed your brother. Although, I didn’t think I would actually kill him with that. As for the arrow, I left that to Compton since I don’t have a bow nor do I know how to use one well. I figure that it will be used on Merlin rather than you.” I explained.
“Why? You granted my brother’s wish so why can’t you grant mine?” SHe asked angrily as she started to break down.
“Don’t worry. In the end, I will save you. That I can promise you.” I said as I hugged her. As soon as I said this she began crying even louder than before and started rubbing her snot dripping nose on my coat.
“You’re a liar.” she finally said.
“If that’s true then I guess you’ll have to hold me accountable. I would hate to invoke your wrath.” I replied with a smile as she calmed down.
“My, my, you are a handful. You caused me to show you such a state and then tell me something like that. I don’t think you can do much but I still expect you to keep your word. You made a vow so you’ll have to uphold it no matter what.” Tim said as she returned to her usual emotionless state.
“I understand. Don’t think that I’ll just give up on my promises. Now I should get going.” I said as I tied the bandana around my face. Without even giving me a response or a goodbye Tim snapped her fingers and I appeared standing between Medea and Mordred at the graveyard.
