《The Supernatural Case of an Accidental Time Traveler》Beginning Of The End - Part 047

As Silva and I were going deeper into Iscarat’s maze of a home we heard the sound of someone slamming their fist into the door repeatedly. Iscarat let go of Elysif and began yelling for whoever it was to stop. Although, we all knew it was Scott. Elysif returned to the pendant as we hid. With another wave of his hand, the room he was in became hidden once more.
When Iscarat opened up the doorway Silva watched in secret as Scott had runes placed over his body. She couldn’t help but feel disturbed by the whole thing. Silva kept looking like she wanted to step in and stop it but she held her ground and just watched. I too wanted to stop what was happening but if I did then it would only make things worse. Accepting this was all I could do. Once the whole operation was completed Scott left to do something unspeakable.
“Is this really okay, Silva?” Iscarat asked, knowing full well that Silva had been watching
“No, it isn’t but it needed to happen.” Silva said stepping into the surgical room from our hiding spot with me following right behind her.
“You know why this is necessary. I wish it didn’t have to be this way either but we had no other choice.” I said with a sad tone. It was the truth. I wanted to fix this but there was no way for me to do so. Everything was already so screwed up that I was barely able to do this.
“Well, I hope you’ll be able to explain this to him when the time comes, or else you may not be able to handle the repercussions.” Iscarat replied .
Leaning back against the wall and slowly lowering herself to the floor, Silva began cradling her knees. I bent down and placed my hand on her shoulder to try and console her but she slapped it away. I knew it was no use but I still cared.

“Don’t act like you can help me. I did this because I needed to and now the one I love is about to commit genocide in my name. You know damn well that I am not some frail flower that needs your pity so don’t even try. Just do what you need to and let’s get out of here.” Silva said angrily.
“Like I would ever need to pity you. I pity the man who thinks he just lost his wife. I pity the innocent who are about to feel the same pain at his hand. This is not a good thing but it’s all we can do. You and him will thank me later.” I replied angrily. It’s not like she didn’t know exactly how I felt. Yet she has the nerve to get mad at me! Plus, it was her idea to come here in the first place. Grabbing a towel off one of the shelves in Iscarat’s surgical room, I headed down the hallway towards the bath. I just needed some time to calm down. If not then I may get pissed off even more.
After a good bath, I felt much more relaxed. I mean, I was still feeling bad about the whole situation but now I wasn’t annoyed anymore. It also seems that Silva had cooled off a bit and was no longer mad at me for something that was out of my control at this point. Returning back to the main room, Iscarat had gone to sleep and Silova looked ready to leave.
“Anything you need to do before we go?” I asked Silva.
“Not a thing. I explained the whole situation to Iscarat and he understands. He also agreed to back up the claim that you’re from the future when Scott takes you under his wing.” Silva said.

“Well, that’s good.” I replied. Without saying anything else, Silva disappeared inside the pendant. Closing my eyes I went returned to the world of stars.
“What are you doing back here?” Tim asked as I appeared in front of her.
“I kind of need another favor…” I replied sheepishly.
“What is it?” she asked with a sigh.
“I forgot the exact street and time that the masked version of myself appeared before me for the first time. Could you send me there?” I asked.
“Sure. I’ll send you there. You know the rules right? The past you will pass out as soon as you arrive.” Tim said.
“Yep, though I may ask you to do this again in the future.” I replied.
“Whatever, just do what you want. It’s not like I have anything better to do.” she said before snapping her fingers.
As soon as her fingers were snapped I was in the alleyway next to where Scott laid in pain and my younger self was passed out. Standing over my younger self was the changeling that did this to us. I had a lot of resentment towards the guy but I couldn’t kill him. That would be a task for myself at a later date. Running behind the changeling I grabbed the back of his neck and threw him away from my younger self as hard as I could.
“What the hell! Who are you?” the changeling asked angrily.
Drawing my knife I began charging him. However, the coward of a changeling morphed into a cat and ran off. There was no point in me chasing him so I put my knife back in its sheath and turned to Scott. Walking up to him, I bent down close to Scott’s ear.
“Forget you saw anything, for your own sake if not his.” I whispered in a low voice as I gestured at my unconscious body. As soon as I did I shut my eyes and returned to the world of stars.

Change is constant. Starting over without your own memories? Connected to some System AI? Probably a pretty big change. Join Monday March as she attempts to deal with these changes and many others in a fantasy future with magic, monsters, AIs, and dating. Notes / Expectations: - About the writing style - Almost always First Person past tense (aside from the prologue), Chapters are short by design. Also, I'm not rushing to the conclusion, it's there, I'm in no hurry. - Genres - Fantasy is the most obvious umbrella, Action, Comedy, Romance, Psychological and everything else that makes a character into a comprehensive person will likely crop up, but won't be the main focus, at least not for hundreds of pages - Tags - Dungeon, Gender Bender (closer to gender themes), Post Apocalyptic and a few others might be a valid fit, but anything that doesn't fit most chapters will be set aside tag wise for now. Possible updates in the future if needed. - Content Warnings - While I want to write this story as accessible and friendly, sometimes a narrative gets messy, and sometimes people are naked, or get hurt either physically or mentally. Best to be prepared. As for cussing, well, our main character will avoid it. - Initial posting schedule is once a week, updates to the schedule will be posted here or in chapter notes.

Blood? My wrist was covered in it. It wasn't dried up or reeked of the combination of that black gunk from all those other freaks. It was fresh and warm too. Where was it coming from? I checked my body. My t-shirt was splattered in everyone else's blood but my own. Turning over my hand, my eyes lowered to where Ray was holding onto me. I gasped and released him, covering my mouth to stop from screaming. "Holy shit dude! What happened to your-?!" Tears were forming in his eyes but he looked down and hid his hand from me. "Please d-don't worry about it. Let's just go find a real hospital already." He said while shaking. "I...I don't want to think about it right now O-okay? It's no big deal..It's just...it's a finger..." My mind went blank. I pulled him into a tight hug. I wanted to do nothing much but to cry right now. I got him into this mess. This was all my fault.
