《The Supernatural Case of an Accidental Time Traveler》Beginning Of The End - Part 046

“Would you mind making Mordred look more like Silva?” I asked.
“Do you really want to go through with this?” Tim asked with a concerned tone.
“Not really. To be honest, it sickens me. The idea of letting them destroy Mordred’s corpse as an alternative to Silva wasn’t a plan I really wanted to do. I only offered it because if I found another solution then we could give her a proper burial. However, I can’t find another way so please do what you can?” I replied.
“I understand. Changing her hair to match Silva’s won’t be a problem. Otherwise, she looks fairly similar. Since she is going to be mauled then there is no point in changing minor details. Just dress her up like Silva and everything will work out.” Tim said with a snap of her fingers. As soon as she did Mordred’s hair turned silver and her clothes changed to match the gray coat that Silva had been wearing.
“Thank you.” I said before picking up Mordred’s corpse and returning back to the alleyway.
As soon as I arrived in the alleyway, Lily appeared out of the pendant once along with Silva’s sword and her wedding ring. I placed both on Mordred’s body as quickly as I could before Several of Elysif’s blood needles shot out of the pendant as well and pierced Mordred’s body as if they were marionette strings. Mordred’s body began to move on its own. Picking up Silva’s sword, Mordred’s corpse began running towards the end of the alleyway. To make sure that I wasn’t seen any further I disappeared inside the pendant and Lily took off after Mordred so that Elysif was able to properly control it.
As the corpse ran by Elysif’s will, a werewolf that stood on top of a building began howling. Causing more and more werewolves that charge after the corpse. Two of them charged closely to Mordred but Elysif twisted her arm to slit the throat of one werewolf. The other bit into her arm but Elysif made Mordred stab at it with Silva’s sword, piercing the creatures lung. Both creatures turned to ashen dust.

Not a moment later, three more jumped Mordred’s corpse. Elysif cursed as she tried to make the corpse fight off the creatures but it was no use. They ripped at Mordred’s body until it was no longer identifiable as a human. I couldn’t help but feel disgusted. Turning to the side I saw that everyone else looked disgusted by it. Especially Silva who looked at the sight with utter disdain.
“Noooo!” we all heard Scott yell. Silva watched in horror as her husband ran up to Mordred’s corpse with tears streaming down his face. The werewolves which had torn her body to shreds had run off without any care for Scott. Silva fell to the ground and began weeping with apologies meant for Scott that she knew he couldn’t hear. The sight of him quickly entering a state of pure sorrow was too much for Silva to bear.
“Can I ask a favor from you?” Silva asked.
“Of course. What can I do for you?” I asked in response.
“Could you take me into the future? I would like to see what Scott does next with my own two eyes.” Silva said with a forced emotionless face.
“Of course. To Iscarat’s then.” I replied.
Since there was no more reason to stay watching the scene, Lily flew off into an empty alley where I switched out with her. As soon as we were switched I closed my eyes and focused on Iscarat’s house in London. The door that only a specific key could open. As soon as I opened my eyes I was exactly where I wanted to be. Putting my key into the lock I gave a swift knock and to my surprise, Silva came out of the pendant as well.
“Who is it?” Iscarat asked from beyond the door.

“It’s Silva.” Silva replied.
After hearing what sounded like several locks being unlocked Iscarat opened the door. The look he gave us when he saw that it wasn’t just Silva wasn’t all that kind but he still let us in. like when I first met him, he only had one room open to us where a desk, bed, and stool stood. Otherwise, the room was barren.
“Who is this person, Silva? And why are you here?” Iscarat asked in his usual fashion.
“He is the Masked Man. I just faked my death so that we could take down Merlin.” Silva stated in a way that caught me completely off guard.
“I see. So what do you want me to do?” Iscarat asked, much to our surprise.
“I just wanted to see what Scott would do? I won’t stop him and I don’t think that you should either.” Silva replied.
“Alright then. If that is the case then I assume that Scott is coming here next? I guess you should hide then.” Iscarat said before waving his hand. As he did the doorway to another part of his home opened.
As we were walking to the next room, Elysif appeared out of the pendant. Which wasn’t a good idea but it didn’t matter. I wasn’t going to stop her as I knew exactly what she was doing. She ran up to Iscarat and wrapped her arms around him with tears welling up in her eyes.
“Elysif! What are you doing here? Where did you come from?” Iscarat asked as he wasn’t sure why the girl that Scott and Silva had taken in was hugging him as if he was an old friend.
“Just let me hug you. I never got to say this before but thank you.” Elysif said as she hugged him even harder.
“I don’t know what’s gotten into you but... you’re welcome.” Iscarat said as he hugged her back. It was a rather touching moment to watch. However, we needed to hide.
