《The Supernatural Case of an Accidental Time Traveler》Beginning Of The End - Part 021

Opening my eyes to the world of stars I couldn’t help but feel like I had just made a huge mistake. I mean, I did. Though I knew that this was all my fault, I didn’t think that I had caused this much damage. If I had left things be then would it never have happened? Would Merlin have gone, asked about how to kill me, and left?
“How long are you going to sit there sulking without acknowledging me?” Tim asked as she approached me.
“Till I can figure out a way to fix this.” I replied.
“Then give up. You’ll never be able to fix this. All you can do is make sure it never happens again. Isn’t that what all you humans keep spouting like hypocrites?” Tim said with an emotionless face.
“Well, what would you have me do? I started this whole mess without even realizing it.” I replied.
“Have you forgotten that it was both my brother and me that trapped you in the past? You would have never caused such an issue had it not been for us. That said, this isn’t your first time doing this. The first you was so oblivious. He did everything you did but had no knowledge of how his actions affected those around him. Unlike you, he just did what he wanted and had fun. He was a lot more interesting to watch.” Tim said in an almost comforting way as she gave me a hug.
“Is this your way of apologizing or are you trying to make me feel better?” I asked.
“Yes.” she said with an unchanging emotionless face.
“Well, was this first me able to defeat Merlin?” I asked.
“I’m not sure. I don’t think he ever made it that far.” She said as she stepped back and sat down.

“What do you mean?” I asked.
“He gave up and went back to his timeline after saving Medea in 1889.” she said.
“Wait, wouldn’t that mean that everyone died after that point?” I asked.
“Well, yes. Though you should remember that the world that you’re in right now is not the same one that you grew up in. Magic, Monsters, and all sorts of other things exist here. Your world has none of that.” Tim replied.
What she said made me think for a bit. I didn’t think that I would be enough of a coward to run away from this. Perhaps the first me just didn’t go through everything that I did or maybe something else came up. I, on the other hand, wasn’t planning on doing that. I owed too much to too many people to abandon them.
“What’s wrong?” Tim asked as she cocked her head to the side with the same emotionless stare.
“Oh, nothing. Though, have you ever been to the beach?” I asked.
“... No, I haven’t. I have watched humans play on them though.” she replied with an inquisitive tone.
“Well, would you like to go to one? I promised Lily that I would take her to one and I feel like it would be a nice break.” I said.
“I wouldn’t mind. This place is rather boring and there isn’t much going on that I need to watch over.” Tim replied.
“Oh, would you mind helping me do something first?” I asked.
“What is it?” she asked with the same emotionless tone. Though I could feel some bit of concern in her voice. Maybe it was just my imagination?
“Well…”
