“I think now would be a good time to explain.” Medea said as she got up and helped Silva to her feet. The two of them walked into the room with Elysif and I.
“Since when are you two on such friendly terms?” Elysif asked Silva and Medea with a condescending tone. She definitely takes after her mother.
“Since she found out I work for the Masked Man.” Silva said.
“Explain, please.” Elysif replied.
“Silva’s been working for the greatest enemy of the Agency for longer than she has known Scott and she faked her death on his behalf in order to enact some master plan.” I explained.
“And what kind of plan is it? Lou, you may be a little trusting right now but I’m having trouble accepting the fact that my friend faked her death and didn’t even bother to have a good reason.” Elysif spouted.
“I think that stopping a group that has somehow fooled half of the world is a good enough reason.” Silva said.
“Shut up, both of you!” I yelled.
“...”
“...”
“Good! Now, as I understand it, everything for the plan that your boss made relies entirely on Elysif pretending to go along with the ritual. Correct?” I asked.
“Yes, Elysif needs to help us fool everyone into thinking that medea is going to successfully summon the Masked Man so that everything can fall into place.” Silva replied.
“I still don’t understand why this has to be done. How exactly does Medea pretending to summon the Masked Man benefit anyone?” I replied, confused by the plan in general.
“You’ll understand once it’s done.” Silva replied.
“Okay.” I said with a monotone voice.
Elysif gave me a look of utter shock. It was as if She got a whiff of stupidity and it refused to leave her nose. Which based on the fact that I was accepting vague information without probable cause would be accurate.

“You’re just going to accept that?” Elysif asked.
“Do I have any other options? We are currently hostages of the most powerful witch that I can think of and Scott’s psychopath wife who are both now working for the guy whom the Agency has classified as their most powerful threat for over a millenia.” I said with a somewhat sarcastic tone. Both medea and Silva cocked their heads in a nod of somewhat agreeance to my statement.
“Well… not really.” she said with a defeated look.
“It’s not like we really need your help. To be fair, everything we are doing is exactly what you were going to do beforehand. Just act like you never saw me and this whole thing will blow over.” Silva said.
“fine , but I want an explanation.” Elysif said.
“I told you that I can’t do that.” Silva replied with a slightly frustrated tone.
“I don’t care. Either you tell me what’s going on or I’ll make sure that this plan of yours doesn’t work.” Elysif demanded.
“...”
“I’m waiting!”
“Lou, Medea, please leave the room.” Silva said with a grim tone.
“I would like to hear this as well.“I replied.
“Not happening. The last person who needs to hear this is you.” Silva said to me with a serious tone. I could tell she wasn’t the happiest person at the moment so I backed off. Medea ended up walking out to the dining room with me without any rebuttals.
Silva waited a few minutes after we had left to make sure that no one was listening. She then pulled the chair that Elysif wasn’t sitting on to a more appropriate spot before sitting down in it. Elysif was waiting rather impatiently with her arms crossed and a scowl on her face.

“How much do you know about the Masked Man?” Silva asked.
“Only what I’ve learned from Mordred and the times that Scott had seen him.” Elysif replied.
“Then what I’m about to tell you will change all of that. Once you know this information you must keep it as secret as possible. However, I don’t think it will be that hard for you to keep secret.” Silva began.

Maitbudi
Fermboi was a man of one ideal: make the weak strong. When his rebellion against the king proved futile, he was given another chance at life. This time, he sought to do nothing after realizing the hopelessness of it all. Aventina wanted to do nothing more than to follow her father’s footsteps. On a retaliation raid against her tribe’s enemies, her brothers perished. Spared by a leader of her enemies, she returned home to find herself the chief of her tribe. Bolahulag, half-civilized and half-barbarian, half-lowborn and half-royal. Raised in his mother’s civilized tent in a sea of barbaric shelters, Bolahulag was hesitant to follow his paternal way of life. After a battle between a civilized king and his father, Bolahulag was sent as hostage to learn the economy and military of the nation his father defeated. Derai knew nothing more than being an orphan, but when a merchant took her in, the world she thought impossible soon became a reality. Monghe, stuck in a school exemplifying strength for most of his life, began to understand what he needed to do in order to be strong instead of weak. Story is mostly about nothing. Fermboi does most of the nothing. Aventina does most of the military things. Bolahulag does a balance of economy and military. Derai focuses on economy. Monghe spitfires what it means to be a typical hero. Hopefully this is enough to give a general idea to people who don’t like going blind aside from the work being purportedly “good.” Who am I kidding, my writing is terrible. I hope it improves though.

The Virtue of a Starless Sky
Days have turned into weeks, weeks into months, and months into long years without a single sign from the Heavens above. The mythical immortals that once protected the world of Oseo have seemingly vanished in the wake of a mysterious phenomenon that occurred only recently — the startling disappearance of a large portion of the night sky and, with it, the gradual decline of Spiritual Qi.In a steadily decaying era where cultivation is becoming increasingly difficult to practice, vast empires, ancient Societies, and powerful organizations have all begun to fight to secure the last remaining Spirit Stone mines and Spiritual Qi leylines across the world. There is little hope for peace now that the final century of cultivation has dawned on Oseo, but to Laude Tellstar, a simple mortal farmer, none of that mattered. As an ordinary mortal who had no interest in the world of cultivation, Laude had considered him exempt from the fearsome conflict raging across Oseo until he was forcibly drawn into the fray one fateful day… by a single, stray bolt of lightning. After that, his life was never the same again. Dragged into a dying world of cultivation, Laude’s journey to expunge his cultivation base and return to mortalhood will take him across Oseo and into the shadow of a heavenly conspiracy so monumental that it could endanger all of Oseo and beyond…

Neophyte: Common Route
A story about self-discovery, interpersonal relationships, magic and magical creatures-- and a silent war. Marsha is about seven years past adulthood and still feels like a scared child in her parents' home. This is exacerbated when she discovers her father has apparently keyed up his destructive, sadistic habits-- leading to a mad dash out of the house with precious cargo in tow and only one idea where to go. This begins her journey, leading to a discovery that will change her life forever. And she never wants to go back. (Warnings: Lots of descriptions of abusive, sadistic and otherwise traumatizing and triggering behavior that a parent perpetuated toward a child or multiple children. Descriptions of violence, a main character with emotional issues that will be dealt with, and a whole lot of the 'aftermath' of battles in a war. Even a few descriptions of some of those battles. Things of that nature. If you can't handle one of those, please do not read.) {I had this idea to write a 'common route' and then 'romance routes' like they do in otomes? Book 1 is the common route, and then at book 2, you choose your love interest. Each of which is encased in their own book.}
