《The Supernatural Case of an Accidental Time Traveler》Witch Trials - Part 031

Iscarat waded through the thick disgusting slime that encroached the bottom of the sewer. I followed behind him trying desperately to not throw up and add to the slimy mixture at our feet. The smell in the tunnel was repulsive and there was no getting used to it. After being down here for nearly twenty minutes I was starting to get dizzy. Iscarat wasn't nearly as affected as I was but he still looked uncomfortable.
"Tell me again why we are wading through this shit?" I asked Iscarat.
"The last time we fought Medea she expected everything. The barrier as well as the second barrier was destroyed and now Monty is too busy healing his wounded witch to be able to help us. This time I figured we could set a trap that could actually work." He said.
"And what kind of trap would that be?"
"I figured we could send her to another dimension for a while."
"I don't understand how that would work and that doesn't explain why we're ten centimeters deep in shit."
She probably didn't come down here and doesn't plan to. Because of that we can use this area to set up runes."
"Okay, but why am I here?"
"I need you to teleport me out of here when I'm done so that we can help the other agents."
ll, while we are alone I have to ask you something." I said.
"And what would that be?"
"Did you really help Silva fake her death?" I asked. He stopped walking for a moment and looked back at me. I couldn't really see his face because of the lack of lighting but I could tell he was looking at me.
"So she spoke to you?"

"Yes."
"Then no point in keeping it a secret. Silva told me a long time ago that my help would be needed to expose something within the Agency. I went along with it and I was later introduced to the Masked Man. Silva had me hide her and help Scott with whatever he needed, including putting those runes across his body."
“She told me that the Agency wasn't what they pretended to be. Do you know anything about that?” I asked.
“I… don’t know much. The only thing she told me was that there was someone very high up pulling the strings. She couldn’t even trust her father with this information seeing he may become a target.”
“Okay then, is there anything else you can tell me?”
“She told me to watch out for a time traveler and to help him along. I was told I could tell whether you were from the future or not if you had a watch that harnessed the power of the sun and if they had grey hair. You matched the bill perfectly.” he said with a stern tone.
“So you knew I would appear?”
“I questioned it but I felt like I would end up meeting you.”
“How could she know about me so long ago?”
“She didn’t. The one who you need to ask is the Masked Man himself. He was the one who told her before she told me.”
“Do you know how I could get in touch with them?”
“You don’t.”
“...”
“We’re here.” Iscarat said, stopping and looking around. We were probably directly underneath Medea’s hideout.
“I’ll leave you to it then.” I replied as several runes started to form on the walls. Each one a different anchorpoint for a single mathematical equation that would activate at Iscarat’s command. I had no idea what effect they may have but if he thought it could take down Medea after what we witnessed yesterday then I was all for it.

After a few minutes the runes stopped glowing and turned black against the walls of the sewers. Iscarat walked over to me and placed his hand on my shoulder. I focused on the apartment a few moments from now and closing my eyes I saw the world of stars. Opening my eyes back up I saw the couch in the apartment and all of the agents scattered through the apartment. Iscarat stood behind me with his hand still on my shoulder. I turned to look at him only for him to run to the window, throw it open, and throw up in the street.
“You two smell awful. Go change and burn those clothes.” Scott said as he watched Iscarat hurling out the window with a small tinge of happiness.

Sunchasers
As Arthur opens his eyes, he finds himself in an unknown place, smack-dab in the middle of nowhere, without anything to help him survive save for a set of pyjamas and little knowledge of outdoors survival. Follow his steps as he tries to figure out where he is, and what will become of him. Sunchasers is a Fantasy novel with a sprinkle of lightweight sort of LitRPG (i.e. without Classes or Stats). While the first ten or so chapters of Book I are about Arthur's lonesome survival, the rest of the story focuses more on exploration and the protagonist will come in contact with other people quite often. The novel is being written in British English and using the metrics system. (I do not own the Cover) Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoy this journey! I have a Discord Server, Join Here!
