《The Supernatural Case of an Accidental Time Traveler》Witch Trials - Part 024

“I see that the true form of the Succubus is still as horrendous as ever.” Medea said as several tentacles swung at her from different directions. She dodged each one that came at her with ease. Backing up to the door to avoid the tentacles a little more, Medea poked herself in her right arm with a small knife she was carrying. Blood dribbled out of the small wound and then morphed into the outline of a blade about forty centimeters in length that was still attached to her arm.
Swinging her arm to the left the blade stretched from forty centimeters to around one hundred and thirty like a whip. The blade cut through several of the tentacles causing the severed appendages to fall to the floor. However, as soon as they hit the floor they began squirming and dragging themselves like worms towards the slime body. As soon as they reached the slime body the appendages were absorbed and new tentacles were created.
“I see now. You have no blood so I can’t take control of you and you’ll just keep regenerating no matter how many of your appendages I cut off. I’ll just keep fighting you until I get tired or decide to leave.” Medea said.
“You cannot beat me, Medea.” Mama Louise said but it sounded like she was saying it through water.
“You are correct. Then I guess I’ll have to use one of my trump cards.” Medea said with a wicked smile. The sword of blood that was on her arm fell to the floor and launched itself at Mama Louise. Morphing in the air it transformed into several small magic circles around two centimeters wide each. They surrounded Mama Louise and began spinning.
“Blood manipulation to make magic circles. Impressive, but it will not be enough.” Mama Louise said as she swung some of her tentacles at Medea, only for them to be cut off upon passing between the magic circles and turning to ashen dust.

“Us witches are proficient in the use of magic algorithms to enhance the effects of alchemical ingredients. This includes the rare but ancient power to turn certain elements into another by circumventing the natural laws. I turned the iron in my blood into silver thread and paired it with a binding spell. Try as you might but you can’t even touch silver without burning yourself so escaping this is impossible.” Medea said.
“I will stop you, bitch!” Mama Louise yelled.
“Such harsh words. I should really teach you a lesson.” Medea said with a snap of her finger. The magic circles began creeping in slowly. Mama Louise attempted to break the circles but her tentacles were cut by the silver thread that spun around her. She reverted back to her humanoid form to give herself more space within the binding spell but instead of trying to escape she sat down on her knees and with a smile said. “Burn in hell, Medea.” The binding spell closed on her completely, cutting her to ribbons and turning her to ashen dust.
“Oh, Elysif. Come out to see Mommy. It has been so long dear.” Medea said with a soft and caring motherly tone.
“...” Elysif stayed in the back room holding her hands over her mouth in order to make sure she didn't make a noise. She couldn’t escape and now she couldn’t even attempt to run.
“Don’t be like that dear. If you don’t come out to see me then I guess I’ll have to end the lives of all those Agents who have been lying to you about me all this time.” Medea said.
With that several arrows of blood shot through the door of the back room at Medea. She dodged them but they kept coming back around at her. She drew the blood that she had used for the magic circles up and tried cutting them in half only for them to multiply into smaller, more versatile arrows.

“Using the fact that I can’t control your blood to your advantage, impressive. On top of that your control is far beyond what it was seven years ago. I expect nothing less from my own daughter.” Medea said as she blocked the arrows.
Elysif walked out of the backroom door. Her left arm was dripping blood and in her right hand was a bloody piece of broken glass. Raising her left arm caused more blood to pour out a bright red. As they did they formed more arrows and shot out at Medea. Elysif looked both scared and pissed as she did this.
“I will not let you hurt anyone again, mother! You made me kill people for your rituals since I was a child. Even forcing me to take part in acts that are forbidden. Never again, I will never kill for you again and I refuse to live in fear of you!” Elysif yelled.
“Interesting.... You have grown strong in your time away from me. However, you are still no match for me.” Medea said before Elysif fell to the floor. “While you were making your big speech about how you hated me I slipped a small bit of my blood with a a heavy dose of paralysis toxin over to you. You didn’t even realize it since you were bleeding so badly.”
“...N-no…” Elysif desperately said from the floor.

Authors Comment: Hello guys, I am bilingual, sorry if there is bad grammar or it just doesn't make sense or something along the lines. If there are any mistakes (which I know there will be) please tell me even if it's just a minor one. Thank you. Jake was just a normal high school student who plays games and reads manga/novels, he doesn't like to go outside that much and he's a little socially awkward. On one day Jake was just reading a novel and he mumbled ''Status''.
