“I’m fine. I just have a serious problem with people like them.” Elysif said.

“What was that thing with that guy's blood? It was awesome!”

“The coven that I was part of as he said specialized in blood manipulation magic so I was taught it from a young age. However, part of the training required the use of necromancy. They would have us kill people just so we could control their corpses like marionettes.”

“Oh, so is that why you never use it?”

“Ya, however I got a little too angry with those assholes. I should have just ignored them.”

“No! Ignoring would have been worse. If you just take it they’ll keep it up. Standing up to them was the best course of action. However, I would have liked to make them bleed a little more before sending them running.”

“You really have become darker ever since you were taken by Jack the Ripper.”

“What did you expect? I was cut into pieces over and over for weeks. I’m surprised that i’m relatively sane.”

“Fair point, but well…”

“What?”

“... I just feel bad that we weren’t able to save you earlier.”

“Oh, you don’t have to be sorry about that. Everything is fine now so it’s okay.”

“But you had to deal with all that for so long-”

“Look! I said it was okay so let’s leave it at that.”

“...okay” She replied with a depressed look.

Damn it, she wasn’t happy with that. You would think that just telling them that its okay because it is would make her not feel bad about it but no. why is this so complicated? I could feel her getting more and more depressed the longer I just stood here not addressing it but what else am I supposed to do? There wasn’t anything else to address. I was about to say something when Dolfly returned holding a pair of undergarments.

“I brought something of his. They’re dirty so it should bear his scent rather strongly. Also I was told by some of my students that you attacked them. Is that true?” he said.

“We did.” Elysif replied

“But they were harassing Elysif about her past. I don’t believe she or I should have to apologise for scaring them.” I interjected.

“... I see, then I understand the situation. Elysif you should make sure to maintain your pride around here. I will have my students reprimanded for their behaviour but I would ask that you not lash out at them please. Even if I agree with your decision I can’t do much since many of my students come from powerful families and covens that I have to be wary of. Do you understand?”

“Of course, Dolfly. I will try to restrain myself for your sake.”

“As will I”

“Thank you, but even so I am proud that you stood up for yourself this time. Take this and please try to bring Erin in alive. I have to return to my duties.” Dolfly said handing Elysif the garment and walking off.
