Episode 58 - Tears of healing 4 ‘A Fluffy Day! 2’ 

“Eugeneia, Euria, what about Mom?” Moniqua’s eyes shone with jealousy! She was jealous! Incredibly so!

She didn’t understand why the twins excluded their birth mom! Weren’t children prone to heavily rely upon and love their mother’s more? She has been following the conversation of Euria, Eugene, and Louis and wanted to smack the heck out of her eldest son! How come the one who didn’t care the most about the twins gets more attention? How dare he steal her precious daughters!

“......” (Eugene)

“Maa~~”

Euria happily laughed, acknowledging the person who feeds her many times throughout the day! Besides that, Euria could already understand that Moniqua would give her more food if she followed what she wanted therefore co-operated peacefully!

Seeing such a cute expression on Euria, Moniqua couldn’t help but feel her whole soul melt.

“Aweeee, as expected of my youngest baby!!”

Moniqua had a ‘head-over-heels’ like expression as she hugged Euria onto herself, poking her baby girl here and there! 

Sure enough, being 1.5 meters away from Eugene proved to be no problem for Euria now! She has been socializing and playing with her other siblings as of late; Eugene not minding or not bothering to care much about Euria doing so. 

Different from Euria, Eugene has been social to everyone except for Moniqua and Levis! It was as if there was an unspeakable iron wall in between them which is why Moniqua has been sulky towards Eugene as of late! Imagine being shunned away from your less than a-year-old daughter! Imagine her being able to say everyone’s names but yours! 

Was it really that hard to pronounce Mom?!

“-Sign- Eugeneia only likes Louis, Ramon, and Aernest..”

Levis comforted Moniqua, patting her shoulder. But did he know? Instead of reassuring his dear wife, he simply just added salt to her open wounds?!

In a rage, Moniqua turned her back towards Eugene, carrying Euria with her; Moniqua pouted while sulking-ly announced,

“Hmph, then go to your brothers!”

“......” (Eugene)

“I don’t want her”

Louis automatically replied. His defense mechanism blocked out unnecessary relationships. 

“.......!!”

‘I don’t want you either!!’

Eugene gritted her non-existence teeth in embarrassment! The feeling is mutual!!

“Now Louis!”

Levis laughed, glancing between his two children.

“Eugeneia is a genius don’t you agree? Not even you were able to speak that well when you were younger!”

Seeing no one taking Eugene’s side, Levis volunteered.

These days, everyone came to understand that Eugene was able to pick out emotions from voices when people talked just like Aernest. They thought that her ears were special like Aernest, but was capable of communicating with them, unlike him, because she was smarter.

This reasoning was the only plausible explanation to them because how could they explain how she was able to understand them otherwise? 

“......” (Louis)

“Is that true father?”

Ramon curiously asked, sitting straight up, wanting to hear how his eldest brother was when he was younger.

Seeing Ramon's curious actions made Louis raise his brows at him, his eyes meaning, ‘You dare ask?!’

Of course, Eugene wanted revenge and thus, playfully played along, unconditionally agreeing with Levis by very enthusiastically nodding! How could Louis beat her when she has lived for 25 years?! So yes! She agrees! She wholeheartedly agrees! 

This action brought Louis’ line of sight to focus on her. Raising the corner of his lips up, he questioned her,

“What are you nodding for?”

“.....”

Eugene doesn’t agree with child discipline but this very second made her want to smack Louis to pieces! 

What was this emerging anger she was feeling called? It was as if she wanted to show the whole world she is an able person! She can speak alright?! Not just 1 language, but Chinese, Spanish, French and German as well! The basic 5 languages! Tsk-

Not willing to lose, Eugene loudly smacked her chest with her right hand to show Louis that she was talking about herself! 

‘Me!’

“.....” (Louis)

“Hmm?”

Louis hummed as if he didn't understand Eugene's 'me' action. He had on a ‘What-are-you-doing?-You-are-so-childish’ face whilst looking at Eugene.

‘What an incredibly frustrating and annoying person!!’ (Eugene)

“Louis was able to crawl when he was 4-months-old and was able to walk when he was 8-months-old dear.”

Moniqua reminded Levis. These things, she has never seen Eugene do. In other words, not agreeing to Levis that Eugene was a genius and Louis was not. 

Of course, hearing Moniqua immediately made Eugene shake her head in ultra acceleration. She could crawl okay? She has tried it at night for training okay? It’s just embarrassing to crawl in public alright?!

“Brother is that incredible?”

Ramon looked towards his brother in admiration, his eyes sparkling with stars! As expected, his brother was really out of this world genius! 

‘Ah..’

Forgetting that Eugene is able to pick up and understand emotions easily, he slowly turned towards Eugene.

‘Oh.. no!’

Eugene was glaring daggers at him! Her cold face was just like eldest brother Louis! Nonono! The last time she glared at him, he was ignored for 2 days straight!

‘Noo!!’

Ramon’s mind searched for answers to divert Eugene’s anger before coming up with a stupid one, stuttering,

“Well.. well...I'm sure Eugeneia is able to walk…ri.. right Eugeneia?”

Ramon guiltily looked at the sky, knowing full well what he said was completely outrageous.

“.....” That’s im… Impossible.. (Eugene)

“.......” (Levis)

“That’s a funny joke”

Louis muttered out, briefly glancing at Ramon..

“Aernest was only able to walk 3 months ago Ramon! If your sister can do it, what will that make your brother look like?”

Moniqua laughed at her 2nd son not taking his words seriously. 

How can a 6-month-old child walk? Louis being able to walk at 8 months old was already a miracle!
