Episode 47 - Assassination at the Royal Palace 17 ‘The Twins & Aernest’

Truthfully, the old man did not have any extra strength left. The repeated trauma to his head by the little girl did make him lose consciousness for a while, however, that wasn’t enough to completely blacked him out.

So he quietly stayed still and waited for his chance to escape. However the more he thought about it, the more impossible his plan of laying low became! Therefore the only way to escape was to continue on with the plan, and take the Crown Prince away as a hostage!

Finding the right timing, he sat up and searched for the Crown Prince, just to realize he was immensely far away, holding onto the crazy lady!!

“......” ‘What dog shit….’

Looking around again, he came across 2 curious gazes...

What about the twins? Didn’t people uphold the twins as gods? Sure enough, the Crown Prince will be compassionate enough to trade himself with the twins... right?

Grabbing the twins by their necks, he dangled them in the air, not caring if his actions hurt the twins or not as his escape was a priority! He just really wanted to get out of this situation no matter what!

Euria screamed in shock! A very disgusting looking man appeared!!

Feeling the man’s hand tightening, Eugene cursed through her breath...

“Give me the... crown prince”

The old man’s bloodshot eyes glared at Louis, as he threatened him. Knowing full well that with just a tiny bit of strength, he can crack the baby's necks at any time if Louis plans to retort.

What he forgot was that he allowed the little redhead to escape a long time ago. So when hundreds of people came rushing in from every corner, pointing guns at him, did he finally remember his deadly mistake!

‘Which bastards were vicious enough to hurt the children!!’

Was everyone’s thoughts as anger rose through their hearts.

Everyone was shocked and horrified at the scenery that appeared in their 2 functioning vision. Although the soldiers didn’t have honorable births like the Imperial knights, they still do not condone the act of hurting children! Even if they were noble children who stood on top of the social pyramid!

But what was this?! - It was as if the children had come back from war, with everyone’s face being covered with blood and dirt! How on earth did something like this happen in the safest place in the whole of Xenperia?!?

Moniqua’s terrifying high pitched voice screamed out, running over to the twins in tears! Yet she had no choice but to halt her steps when the severely deformed man held the twins up higher in a threatening display!.

‘It’s … It’s all over...everyone has seen my face!’

The man’s heart filled up in despair. There was no way he could escape from the massive amount of people cornering him, even if he had the Crown Prince.

“Let them go!”

Levis threatened, his cold light grey eyes darken immensely, as he stared down at the man holding his two children! Holding down Moniqua whose body gave out in despair.

Immense pressure overcoming him, as his barely capable brain fried up. Everything had gone wrong. From the alleged Princess to this current situation. Being mentally broken like a tv circuit was cut off, he started laughing like a mad man!

His stomach cramping up from laughing, he spilled all his emotions out.

He thought! Why would he ever let the babies go? Shouldn’t he just have some fun and indulge like the young man did?

Eerily smiling, he tightened his grips on the twins' neck. Not caring anymore about escaping.

The air supply was immediately cut off from Eugene's and Euria’s throat, being unable to no longer breathe as their necks were very tightly gripped! Both the two small bodies were convulsing and shaking from the lack of oxygen to their important organs, as their faces started turning dark blue.

“AHHH!!”

Moniqua screamed from the terrifying sight! Never in her whole life did she think she had to relive the experience of her children not being able to breathe again! Except this time was tremendously worse! Scared! She was incredibly scared!

“Why?! WHY!!!”

She screamed! Veins in her eyes popped due to the immense stress, grabbing her husband's legs to hold onto, afraid that she would pass out!

‘WHY!?’

Laughing at everyone’s facial expression that deteriorated, he smirked at his win! Not realizing that a bald small child had crawled over in front of him and the bloodied girl who messed him up was also crawling over, using her legs to push her body forward.

Together in unison, with the little strength she barely has but had to have, and the 5 baby teeth Aernest had cultivated during his 9 months of living; the two, with all the strength they had, BIT into the legs of the old man!

Although the bite was barely anything, it was enough for the man to be surprised. Immediately letting go of both his hands that were holding onto the twins!
