Episode 33 - Assassination at the Royal Palace 3 ‘It was all deliberate ‘
“Young master!” (Aeselak)
“Gogu! Goguuu” Aernest fiercely struggled out of Aeselak’s grips and slid down to the floor. From there, he, with fast speed crawled over to his brother Louis. Using his brother’s legs as a support, he stood up and clung over the twins that were lying on Louis’ legs, in a hugging protective position.
“It seems like you are loved by all your siblings Louis” The Crown Prince shook his head seeing this loving scene by the Veria Family. If only his younger sister would stop clinging to Louis’ as well and loved him instead.
“Aernest, what are you doing!”
Ramon in jealousy tried to get monkey Aernest out of his elder brother’s body, but it was as if he was suctioned to his brother! He can’t even move a millimeter.
CRAHH!------
A piercing sound indicating a glass object smashing into the floor and breaking into tiny pieces was heard from outside their room.
“Woah..” Crown Prince Ren felt himself hallucinating because he was feeling vibrations under his feet. But he realized he wasn’t hallucinating when small decorations and books started falling out of their places, falling onto the floor.
“Whaa.” Ramon jolted backward from the sudden shock.
The crash outside was soon forgotten by everyone as their attention was on their waiting room shaking in tremors. Louis enveloped the twins, Aernest and Ramon into his small body while the Crown Prince grabbed the bench underneath his body to stabilize himself. Aeselak and Aedelak also hugged each other’s arm in shock. The tremor which seemed to be getting more and more violent shocked everyone but it suddenly ceased as if nothing ever happened, relieving the people in the room.
“What’s happening? What’s happening?" Aeselak hugged her older sister Aedelak, scared that the tremors will be coming back.
“It might be an earthquake, let's get out of here first” Louis being the older one spoke out as he looked around the room to understand the situation. If it was an earthquake, staying in this waiting room would be the last thing they should do as there was nowhere to hide from things decors crashing down. Besides, this room was 70% decorated with glass, staying in here was severely dangerous. He also had a really bad premonition the more he thought about the sudden vibrations and certain things that happened prior.

‘There has never been a record of Xenperia ever having Earthquakes...Yet...’
‘What’s this smell?’ Eugene thought to herself confused by the sudden whiff of a nice fragrance.
“Khekk” Euria who was being layered over by Aernest suddenly coughed. She not once, but continuously coughed as if something was caught down her throat, alarming everyone in the room.
“Euwa?” Eugene called out to the person beside her who was tightly gripping onto her hand. Although she was still being covered by Aernest, she could still faintly see the baby beside her looking very uncomfortable. Although she was worried, she was also concerned about the almond smell which was getting stronger and stronger by seconds.
‘Why is no one concerned about the smell? Can they not smell it?’
Eugene pulled both hands out of Euria’s grip in an attempt to block her and Euria’s nose from the overwhelming fragrance. Maybe this was the cause? She wondered as she used her tiny feet to kick Louis to alarm him of the potential cause of Euria’s coughing.
“I think something is wrong brother!” (Ramon)
“Kekkkhh” Even Aernest who was very still started coughing. Ramon’s alarm and Eugene’s action of covering both her and Euria’s nose gave both Louis and Crown Prince Ren answers to the children's reaction.
‘Is there something in the air?’ (Louis, CP Ren)
“Everyone! Cover your nose!” In the understanding of the situation, both the Crown Prince and Louis shouted for everyone to take action. Which everyone immediately followed.
‘What in the world is happening?’ Eugene blinked towards Louis in confusion and glanced towards the Crown Prince who looked awfully serious.
“Young masters” Realising Louis was not able to cover up his own nose due to carrying and covering both Eugeneia and Euria, Aedelak swiftly used a clean handkerchief to help him cover up his nose while using her other sleeves to cover herself up. Aeselak also hurriedly carried Aernest and covered him up so that Ramon didn’t have to carry him himself and can better protect himself.

“First. Let’s try to get out of here” Crown Prince Ren mumbled from under his sleeves.
“Let’s go” (Louis)
Everyone steadily walks towards the exit while also minding the huge chandelier that could potentially fall onto them.
‘This can’t pass off as mere coincidences. The crash, the vibrations, followed up by something that was making the babies cough. The natural instinct would be to get out of this room but what if..’
“It was all deliberate”
Louis whispered, his face getting dark due to realization.
“Stop.”
He said in a voice only people close by could hear.
“.. Brother?” Hearing the sudden halt in footsteps and also the word stop, Ramon looked back.
Louis locked eyes with Crown Prince Ren for a moment before looking at Aedelak and Aeselak and then nodding towards the curtain that was by the gigantic fireplace.
With a glance Aedelak understood what Louis meant.
‘That’s right.. It was too suspicious’ She thought in her head. Taking Aeselak who was holding Aernest with her, they walked towards the gigantic curtain covering the huge see-through window that went from the ceiling to the ground floor. After arriving at the palace, they closed the curtains so that the twin could sleep as the room was bright with the huge gigantic window naturally letting in all the sun.
After carefully checking that no one was outside, Aeselak pointed to one side of the window showing Aedelak, a small window lock. And sure enough
Click-
It was able to open. Nodding to indicate everything was clear to the people behind them, one by one, everyone got out with no difficulties.
Aedelak being the last thought of a small trick. Using a small loose thread on her dress, she carefully tied the window lock up from the inside. Pulling the curtains closed so that no one was suspicious, she then carefully closed the window all the while tugging the thread that was tied to the window lock to lock the window from outside. She then harshly tugged the small thread to snap the tied knot and slowly pulled out the broken thread to seamlessly hide the evidence. All this everyone saw and was plenty surprised by her hidden skill all the while feeling grateful that she was here with them.
.........
“Haaa…..” Ramon deeply breathed out, not covering his nose up any longer. Checking up on Euria and Aernest, although they both still showed an uncomfortable look, they immediately stopped coughing once they were out of the room which was a big reliever to him and everyone else.
“Where should we go?” Louis asked Crown Prince Ren who was still dazed from the small trick Aedelak did to the window.
“Huh?... Well-” Being the only one in this group who knows the palace inside out, he quickly snapped out of his thoughts but before he could say anything a voice interrupted him.
“Everyone...”
A young male voice echoed from nearby although all there was were grasslands and some big trees.
“Who’s there!” Alarmed, Aedelak pulled Ramon and Aeselak behind her. Looking everywhere, confused as there was no one nearby.
“It’s me…”
As if hearing the alarm in the girl’s voice, he gently whispered out this time.
‘Huh?’ Before Aedelak could find out where the voice was coming from, a rustling noise could be heard from the tree right in front of them. And without any warning, a figure jumped down from above the tree landing in front of the confused group of people.
“Whaaa.” Aeselak stepped back in horror, pulling Aedelak who was in front of her as well. Never in her whole world did she think someone would appear from above.

Necromancer's Resolve
Foster Locke's life wasn't the harshest it could have been. But it wasn't the easiest either. Despite losing the last of his family and having immense debt thrown on him, getting the chance to keep practicing Martial Arts pulled away, and having a completely messed up sleep-schedule, he usually tried his best to stay positive to the outside world. Of course, that wasn't always possible, especially not when he was staring into the glowing eyes of a man-eating creature he had never heard of before. The glowing message-box that accompanied it wasn't much better either. Not to mention the fact that he was suddenly in a dark forest instead of the train station.
